Chapter 3562: Altar (Sixth Update)

Chapter 3562: Chapter 3562: Altar (Sixth Update)

"Turns out this sound is made by the waterfall."

Xuanyuan Moxie’s gaze was deep. As he looked at the waterfall, he thought that ordinary waterfalls couldn’t possibly create such commotion, let alone get his attention.

The river water of this waterfall contained an unparalleled charm and was extremely heavy; though it couldn’t compare to Samsara Graveyard’s water, it was still remarkably heavy.

"This..."

Xuanyuan Moxie suddenly leapt down from the passage into the dense forest below, then came to the front of the waterfall to feel the vast and unmatched, brutal and invincible torrent up close. That mysterious charm became even clearer.

"This is the Water Origin, the Power of Source!"

Xuanyuan Moxie’s eyes widened abruptly and he looked at the waterfall in disbelief. It was shocking to him that the waterfall’s water flow contained Source Power.

"This place holds great opportunity and nomological powers!"

Xuanyuan Moxie’s heart was shaken, having explored in the dense forest for a long time. This forest wasn’t very large, as he quickly checked it all, and found nothing special.

The only exceptional feature was this waterfall. Xuanyuan Moxie’s gaze locked upon the waterfall once again. At this moment, he looked up at the upstream of the waterfall, where the water gushed forth, the only place in the forest he hadn’t yet explored.

The waterfall’s water was too heavy for Xuanyuan Moxie to dare its sharp edge. In his current state, if struck by the waterfall, he feared he would vomit blood and die.

Therefore, Xuanyuan Moxie could only temporarily suppress his desire and directly sit cross-legged not far from the waterfall to recuperate.

At this moment, as he activated spiritual energy to heal his injuries, Xuanyuan Moxie unexpectedly discovered that the supreme charm contained in the waterfall, the Power of Water Origin, entered his body as he cultivated, accelerating his healing process by several times.

"Such a treasure, truly a treasure!"

Xuanyuan Moxie immediately became excited. After absorbing the Power of Water Origin, he found that the source of it was indeed the waterfall’s source, from where countless torrents flowed out of the mountain’s crack, majestic and grand.

Xuanyuan Moxie speculated that there was great opportunity within the crack, quickly closed his eyes to continue healing, wanting to enter sooner.

Elsewhere, Ye Chen, the Sky-covering Demon Emperor, and Jun Mo emerged within the Nine Death Realm at an altar.

The altar was vast, seemingly like one used by the giants during the creation of heaven and earth in the ancient times, with huge runes carved on it, exuding a terrifying aura capable of destroying heaven and earth.

"What is this place?"

Ye Chen slightly raised his brows, already aware of the altar’s extraordinary nature, and since their entry point into the Nine Death Realm was random, they were unsure of their current location within the realm.

"This place isn’t likely a good one; it’s best to leave quickly."

At this moment, Jun Mo spoke with a serious face. His blood essence within was trembling violently as if in fear, making him uneasy.

"Mm."

Upon hearing this, Ye Chen nodded slightly; he too had a vague sense of foreboding, and he entered the Nine Death Realm to find Ye Luo, not to contend with this altar.

Subsequently, Ye Chen, Jun Mo, and the Demon Emperor activated spiritual energy to try to fly away from the altar, only to discover they couldn’t fly. The altar contained dreadful rules preventing them from ascending.

"We can only walk away."

Ye Chen’s gaze flickered, increasingly feeling uneasy.

Surrounding the altar was an endless forest; towering heavenly trees obscured the sunlight, allowing only bits of light to filter through the leaves.

These trees’ leaves were bizarrely shaped like various weapons, looking extremely mysterious.

"Be careful, I have a constant feeling of danger."

At this point, Jun Mo spoke with a somber face, his body already tensed in readiness for combat. His blood essence trembled more violently, further intensifying his fear of the place.

The altar was large, although Ye Chen and the others couldn’t fly, their walking speed was not slow. Thus, they soon reached the edge of the altar.

"Phew."

Throughout the journey, Jun Mo was nervous; achieving the altar’s edge finally allowed him to breathe a sigh of relief.

"It turns out I was overthinking."

Jun Mo shook his head with a self-mocking smile.

"No, something’s wrong."

Ye Chen’s face changed slightly at these words, staring intently at the forest ahead, his expression growing serious.

"Something’s there!"

Ye Chen shouted suddenly, simultaneously unleashing Destruction Divine Dao, as violent destructive power swept forth.

From within the forest, countless weapons suddenly flew; these weapons shockingly were the heavenly trees’ leaves.

"Boom!"

The violent destructive power exploded forth in battle, clashing with the weapons. To Ye Chen’s surprise, these leaf weapons were extremely tough and sharp despite being mere leaves.

"Bang bang bang!"

Wave after wave of weapons carried violent power in their explosive assault, even penetrating the barrier of destructive power, the devastating edge seemingly splitting sunlight and Buddha.

"Blood Killing Spirit Rain!"

Jun Mo had been on guard; upon witnessing the full-on attack of weapons, he shouted angrily. Countless blood lights emerged from him.

Ancient and desolate blood light bore vast power, on the sky gathered into droplets of rain, soon pouring down in torrents.

Weapons struck by the blood rain were instantly annihilated; this blood-red rain filled with destructive aura bore some resemblance to Ye Chen’s Destruction Divine Dao.

Witnessing this, Ye Chen couldn’t help but look at Jun Mo in amazement; Jun Mo certainly had hidden many things, and Ye Chen hadn’t seen through this guy yet.

At this moment, the Sky-covering Demon Emperor also made his move. As he looked at the profound dark forest ahead, endless mighty demonic qi suddenly soared, roaring as it swept into the forest.

"Whatever’s skulking around, come out now!"

The Sky-covering Demon Emperor shouted furiously, as the destructive demonic qi instantly cleared countless trees, revealing what was hidden within the forest.

These were giants with enormous figures, wearing beast skins, and wielding the tree leaf weapons, glaring at Ye Chen and the others.

These giants had strange patterns on their bodies; the patterns even flowed on their flesh, sparkling occasionally, with explosive power from the patterns surging into the giants’ physique.

These giants had extraordinary strength, most having the power of the Holy Ancestor Realm, with the largest ones reaching the seventh-level of the Holy Ancestor Realm.

In the midst of these giants, the tallest one, whose body patterns shone the brightest, was evidently their leader, who suddenly opened his mouth to speak.

"Abo Alara!"

"What did he say?" Jun Mo asked, puzzled, unable to understand.

"That’s Cangmu Giant language," the Sky-covering Demon Emperor observed the giant, his eyes gleaming.

"Cangmu Giant?" Upon hearing this, Jun Mo was dumbfounded, looking at the Demon Emperor in shock, evidently surprised that he understood such languages.

However, Ye Chen wasn’t too surprised; the Sky-covering Demon Emperor possessed plenty of secret knowledge and understanding strange languages wasn’t surprising.

"Cangmu Giant, a type among giants, living atop the Divine Wood Giant Tree," continued the Sky-covering Demon Emperor.

"But these evidently aren’t true Cangmu Giants, only possessing some Cangmu Giant bloodline, as the Cangmu Giant race was exterminated long ago."

The Sky-covering Demon Emperor scrutinized the giants’ leader, a dash of disdain flashing in his eyes.

"Then what did he say?" Jun Mo couldn’t help but ask.
