In the void, the sound of war drums resounded thunderously.
Clouds and mists surged wildly, as thousands of troops advanced, dense and menacing.
At the forefront of the clouds, shadowy figures loomed, numbering over a hundred Bodhisattvas, all immortals from the Brahma Void Heavenly Court.
Such a large group of immortals, each possessing divine skills capable of destroying heavens and earth, gathered together, forming a formidable force, thunder rolling relentlessly, their intent for battle shocking the world.
This was a terrifying army, the Buddha Light stretched as far as the eye could see, spreading across ten miles.
"Linghui Bodhisattva, can we make it in time?"
A monk stepped forward to ask.
"No problem."
Linghui Bodhisattva flew at the front, majestic and awe-inspiring: "The Venerable has already planned ahead. When we get there, they will still be resisting the Bowl!"
No sooner had he spoken, than Linghui Bodhisattva saw two dazzling lights rushing towards them from afar, one after the other, each as intense as the scorching sun, their aura terrifying, as if they could burn everything to ashes!
"Everyone, be careful!"
Linghui Bodhisattva was taken aback and shouted: "Dodge!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the two scorching suns roared towards them, tearing through the void, emitting piercing roars.
The first scorching sun rushed over the heads of the monks, narrowly avoiding them.
But the second sun charged straight towards the army, with Linghui Bodhisattva in the direct path.
"Linghui Bodhisattva!"
The monks wanted to intervene, but it was already too late.
"Boom"
The scorching sun collided with Linghui Bodhisattva and exploded, transforming the Bodhisattva into a blaze of fire, plunging down from the void.
"The timing is just right."
The scorching sun halted, revealing Sun Wukong within the raging flames.
He looked at the oncoming army and said, "It seems like a tough battle ahead!"
The Marching Cloud stretched as far as the eye could see, with at least a million troops.
"It's Sun Wukong!"
A monk recognized Sun Wukong.
The army boiled over.
"Suppress the demon monkey!"
The Bodhisattvas shouted, leading the charge towards Sun Wukong.
"Suppress the demon monkey!"
Thousands of monks roared in unison, echoing through the void.
A golden light spread out in the void, rising thunderously, stretching over ten miles – it was a vast Kasaya, sacred and splendid, engraved with ancient stars.
Various laws interwoven within the Kasaya, attaching to the monks, each star representing a monk.
In an instant, the void boomed, brilliance filled like the sea, as if thousands upon thousands of stars were clamoring.
These stars attacked Sun Wukong, their momentum overwhelming, as if they would shatter the entire void.
"Interesting!"
Sun Wukong laughed aloud, charging into the battlefield of stars.
His fighting spirit fully unleashed, he swung the Long Stick, facing a million alone, the entire void trembling, great fires raging, terrifying energy crashing like thunderous waves.
All Bodhisattvas and monks were drawn in, battling Sun Wukong, the void stained with blood, Chaos shedding tears.
One after another, monks fell.
Countless talents vanished under Sun Wukong's stick.
The million-strong army of the Brahma Void Heavenly Court, even if dominating through Chaos, now screamed and wailed, as a million monks perished one by one.
This war lasted for several days, and when the great fire finally extinguished, the vast void was devoid of any monks.
"So strong!"
Miles away, three onlookers felt chills down their spine, drenched in cold sweat.
"That Sun Wukong truly is a War God nurtured by heaven and earth. We thought it would take hundreds of years to mature, but he already possesses such divine skills."
One of them said, "After defeating the White Robed Venerate, there's hardly anyone left in the Chaos who can stop him."
"Perhaps, he really could create a Divine Domain for us!"
Another person couldn't contain their excitement.
The last one shook his head: "The outcome of this battle is still undecided; such a stunning talent must not fall into the hands of the White Robed Venerate."
The other two were immediately doused with cold water and cooled instantly.
They thought of the identity of the White Robed Venerate and the Divine Skills he possessed, feeling some heaviness in their hearts.
This was a fierce battle.
They looked towards the battlefield, and after a heaven-shaking battle, Sun Wukong was also injured.
His body was drenched in fresh blood, his right foot had been chopped off.
It had been the most brutal war he had experienced; those Buddhist disciples wielded Divine Skills he had never imagined and caused him harm.
However, this was of no concern.
Sun Wukong radiated Immortal Light, absorbed the Spiritual Energy of the void, his body sparkling brilliantly.
Soon, Sun Wukong's body healed once more, his flesh translucent and his right foot intact.
He had mastered the Tao; even if his head was severed, he could regenerate, let alone a mere right foot.
But this was the first time Sun Wukong had lost his right foot, and he was a bit concerned, moving around a bit before he could relax.
"There was one stop, there will be a second."
Sun Wukong looked up into the distance, knowing that one battle was not the end.
The Brahma Void Heavenly Court would surely react, and soon a new grand army would advance.
How could he allow the Heavenly Court to make the first move!
Sun Wukong turned into a beam of light, tearing through the void, like a golden bolt of lightning streaking across the sky.
He charged forward, flames erupting around him, shattering several teams trying to block him, and charged straight out of the void.
As he returned to Chaos, it was like the galaxy spilling over, the space before him blazed with silver light, countless Star Palaces suspended in Chaos, bursting forth with thousands of lights.
This was the Brahma Void Heavenly Court, formed from nearly a hundred Star Palaces; the sight so vast and magnificent it took Sun Wukong's breath away.
"How spectacular."
Sun Wukong had not anticipated that the Brahma Void Heavenly Court would be so immense.
The number and size of these Star Palaces far exceeded his expectations; even moving the Three Realms here would only be one of the larger ones inside.
However, on closer inspection, Sun Wukong realized that many Star Palaces were radiant on the outside but lifeless within.
Not only were there no people, but even vegetation was absent.
"These are all dead lands!"
Sun Wukong was startled when suddenly, a Heavenly Sword behind him burst forth with luminosity, chopping down towards him with a piercing sound.
Sun Wukong swung his hand back, his Jingu Bang colliding with the Heavenly Sword, the sound thunderous, unleashing a dazzling burst of light.
"Are you Sun Wukong?"
The Heavenly Sword struck and retreated, revealing a man.
The man held the Heavenly Sword, his blue clothes fluttering, dreamy and mesmerizing, his appearance exceedingly splendid.
"Taoist?"
Sun Wukong turned to look at him, a flash of surprise in his eyes.
How could there be a Taoist in the Brahma Void Heavenly Court?
He raised his Jingu Bang: "Are you from the Heavenly Court?"
"If I said I was, what would you do?"
The man asked, behind him a vast white army surged forward.
Sun Wukong looked at the army, all dressed as Buddhist disciples.
"If you are from the Heavenly Court, then let's have a fight."
Sun Wukong declared.
The man burst into loud laughter.
"Although I am not from the Heavenly Court, I am a friend of the Heavenly Court."
After laughing, the man said: "The Heavenly Court was originally destroyed by the Venerate, it was the White Robed who got the Jade Seal and remade the Heavenly Court."
He slanted his Heavenly Sword and said: "To be against the White Robed is to be against me."
His answer was already quite clear.
Without further ado, the two engaged in close combat.
