"The White Robed Venerate is not your enemy!"
Multiple shouts echoed from the Chaos.
Sun Wukong, as if he hadn't heard, with divine radiance piercing the sky, advanced over the water, his War God stature fully revealed.
Lines of Immortal Light streaked across the sky, landing in front of him.
These were a group of strangers with Great Divine Power, their vitality astonishing, garbed in Immortal Wind Daoist robes.
They were not from the Heavenly Court.
A glint crossed Sun Wukong's eyes as he lifted up his Long Stick: "Get out of the way."
A middle-aged Daoist stepped forward: "Sun Wukong, the White Robed Venerate established the Heavenly Court for the beings of Chaos; you should not be his enemy."
"Beings."
Sun Wukong's voice was as sharp as frost: "What do you mean?"
"Did you not see that door?"
The Daoist replied: "The door constructed by the White Robed Venerate is an escape for all beings."
He told Sun Wukong that if the Heavenly Court were to be completed, it wasn't just for the Heavenly Court, but all creatures in the Chaos could pass through that door to reach the land of Jile.
"I see."
Sun Wukong understood.
This was no ordinary news, enough to sway him—if he had learned of it sooner.
"What does it matter?"
Sun Wukong's resolve to fight was set: "Out of the way."
Everyone was shocked, but no one moved aside.
Sun Wukong swung down his Jingu Bang.
Like a pillar of fire, wherever it passed, space shattered, Immortal Bodies exploded.
People were flung aside, their blood spraying far.
"Sun Wukong, you!"
The group paled in shock, staring at Sun Wukong unbelievingly.
Sun Wukong walked over the blood-stained sea, casually flinging several Golden Bodhisattvas who rushed at him.
Bodhisattva Sect coughed up blood, their Divine Souls trembling.
From the Sea of Reincarnation flew countless Buddha's disciples, Buddha Light surging towards Sun Wukong, trying to hold him back.
Countless golden lights struck against the Wanling diagram, sparks flying like stars colliding.
But Sun Wukong regarded them as nothing, continuing his march towards the White Robed Venerate.
Those with Great Divine Power were shocked.
"How could this be!"
They had explained the reason; why did Sun Wukong still move forward?
Did Sun Wukong truly not care about all beings?
The White Robed Venerate stood on the other side of the Sea of Reincarnation, Divine Radiance bursting forth.
"Sun Wukong."
He seemed to have anticipated this outcome, his Heavenly Eyes opened wide, brilliance flickering as he emitted two divine lights: "Have you witnessed true despair?"
The light within the Sea of Reincarnation intensified.
The White Robed Venerate's two divine lights evolved myriad scenes within the Sea of Reincarnation, each a fragment of ancient memory.
The vast Chaos, endless ages, destruction of various Star Palaces, beings in dire straits; the White Robed Venerate presented these tragic scenes before Sun Wukong's eyes.
Such sorrowful sights, such a history of despair.
The most devastating catastrophes emerged before Sun Wukong's eyes.
Sun Wukong walked across the Sea of Reincarnation, through one scene after another, bearing witness to the destruction of countless Star Palaces and the disappearance of innumerable beings, leaving not even a speck of dust behind.
The White Robed Venerate hoped to shake his Taoist heart.
But Sun Wukong showed no reaction, stepping straight forward, golden light exploding around him, connecting into one.
No one could stop him.
He marched on irresistibly, pushing aside all, those Buddha's disciples not his match, falling one after another.
It was a shocking sight.
"If we don't stop him now, it'll be too late!"
"There's nothing we can do!"
"We must go up!"
The Great Divine Power individuals could no longer wait, they charged forward, Immortal Light emerged like a starry sky enveloping Sun Wukong from behind.
"Boom!"
Sun Wukong swung his Long Stick backward, striking the starry expanse, every Great Divine Power individual screaming as they were sent flying, blood dyeing the Sea of Reincarnation red.
Sun Wukong didn't even look back, as if swatting away a swarm of pesky insects, and continued to move forward.
"You..."
The Great Divine Power individuals, coughing blood, were both annoyed and angry.
These were beings who had traversed the Chaos for countless years; when had they ever been treated with such disdain?
"I must stop him!"
The middle-aged Daoist charged over, a flicker of violet light pulsating on his body, seemingly insignificant, but it exuded the aura of the Heavenly Dao, the master of a Star Palace.
"Sun Wukong!"
With the violet light, the Daoist landed in front of Sun Wukong: "We're all fighting against the Venerable; why can't we talk properly?"
"I don't converse with losers."
Sun Wukong lifted his Long Stick, at this moment, everything before him was an enemy.
No matter their reasons.
Treating Jile as an escape route was a compromise, so much for fighting the Venerable!
"You people…"
Sun Wukong's Long Stick swept across: "Cannot defeat the Venerable!"
The air tore and clouds swirled as Chaos thundered.
The middle-aged Daoist's Heavenly Dao instantly crumbled, utterly incapable of resistance.
His eyes widened in fear, the last thing he saw was a pillar of fire that covered the heavens and the earth, burying him beneath.
With a violent blast, a star lord shattered and disappeared.
Amongst the light and flames, Sun Wukong strode forward.
No one could block him; he paved a bloody path to arrivie in front of the White Robed Venerate.
"Why?"
The White Robed Venerate asked.
Sun Wukong was different from before; his strength and mentality had changed.
He had become stronger, more ruthless.
"The struggle for the Tao…"
Sun Wukong raised his Long Stick, his voice cold: "Why stop."
"The struggle for the Tao."
The White Robed Venerate muttered to himself.
His body was still bleeding, a tragic sight.
Yet the White Robed Venerate suddenly laughed, in the most perilous moment, his laughter broke forth, tears streaming down.
"The struggle for the Tao, the struggle for the Tao, Sun Wukong, you are right…"
Within the White Robed Venerate, a flame ignited, lighting the way, the fog dispersed.
"The struggle for the Tao, how can one stop!"
What is the Tao, it's a person's true heart.
And the true heart knows no reason for compromise!
