Chapter 4210: No Escape For Soul Gem
Rean put his CD away and shrugged. "Too many questions that can’t be answered. But you know what? I don’t really care about the answers right now. He is talking about the Celestial Plane and such. Fuck the Celestial Plane."
Roan glanced at him. "What a coincidence. To think I would have the same thoughts as you. That’s rare... and kinda annoying."
"Hmph!" Rean snorted. "Alright, we are back and all that shit. If no one has anything else to say, I’d very much like to go see my family."
"Wait right there!" Black Lotus stopped him. "There are many things we need to know. You guys are Peak Celestials now, aren’t you? Do you have some way to make us reach that realm as well?"
Kentucky looked at him. "Have you heard about the normal method, the one that needs the Great Void Black Holes?"
Black Lotus nodded. "I did. But that seems pretty far from our reach at the moment. We need to find out our own rogue Celestial Laws first."
"Exactly," Kentucky confirmed. "Then that’s pretty much it."
Rean smiled. "Well, you need to find those laws. However, from the looks of it, many of you, Semi-Celestials, stayed in Lisan because you never knew what the Garisan Empire could try to do, right? That also means you kept my girls safe. I’m not ungrateful. All of you, I have plenty of high-ranking Divine Stones."
Roan understood what Rean intended to do. "He is right. We will compensate you for keeping Lisan protected all this time. For better or for worse, the idiot and I are this Universe’s owners. We will distribute the Divine Stones we have, and all the Semi-Celestials in Lisan can go out to look for their own rogue Celestial Laws in other higher-ranking Universes."
"We will stay here for a good amount of years, and there are four of us if you count Celis and Kentucky. With four Peak Stage Celestials, who are Balance Breakers on top of that, I highly doubt anyone can do anything to Lisan anymore. No extra protection is needed. I will not even mention the support we gain from our Universe for being its owner. It only makes us even more invincible in here."
Now, that was a proposal that all the Semi-Celestials present felt very interested in. Just what kind of Divine Stones did they bring? Also, not having to worry about the Universe being taken over was definitely a big deal.
Black Lotus thought for a moment. "A good amount of years... I don’t know what this Balance Breaker thing is, but how many years are we talking about?"
Before Rean or Roan could answer, Celis cut in. "So you are counting me in on this long vacation of yours?" And there you have it, the cultivation addicted Cedar. He totally wanted to go to the Celestial Plane straight away to restart his cultivation.
Rean then pointed out the obvious. "Celis, we are still connected. Even if you somehow could go to the Celestial Plane, you can’t increase your cultivation if we don’t increase ours too."
"Hey, you!" Kafan spoke. "You already reached the Peak Stage of the Celestial Realm in a time record that none of us could ever dream about. Calm down a little and give the rest of a chance of progressing too, will you?"
Celis felt helpless. Of course, he knew that. "Fine... I truly can’t complain about my cultivation speed."
Roan looked at Black Lotus after that. "I’m not sure how many years we will stay here, but it will be at least a few tens of thousands. That should give everyone plenty of time to visit many other Universes with the Garisan Empire’s help. We brought a few nice things from the Werdlem Empire, so we can definitely negotiate with them to have you guys visit their best Universes."
Black Lotus finally felt like losing the Dark Manipulator wasn’t all that bad. "Fine. I’ll hold onto your words."
*Zush!*
Suddenly, the projection of a small turtle appeared, catching everyone’s attention. They recognized it, Hyeoumu! "Finally, my body!"
Without thinking twice, Hyeoumu threw himself into his ginormous Axion Tortoise Body floating in space. A few minutes later, he opened his eyes, and the power of gravity could be felt all around. "It has been so long..."
"Hum?" Celis was curious. "If you are inside your body now, then who is living inside your other body?"
Let’s not forget, Hyeoumu’s other body in the Lisan Universe was what held the Realm of Gods.
Hyeoumu wasn’t concerned, though. "What? That? It became an empty shell, that’s all. It simply won’t move anymore. Oh, but the Continental Barriers will disappear in the next few years, so there is that. The point is: that shell of mine, where the Realm of Gods exists, can last hundreds of billions of years. I’m sure you all can think of something until it finally starts to collapse. I don’t know... Why don’t you try to take back the real Divine Realm? It is still out there, just empty."
"That’s... a very long time..." everyone thought.
Of course, many other things would happen, like environmental changes and such. However, there was no way Hyeoumu would stay out of his body anymore, so the living beings there could only deal with it.
"We will also stay a while," Default commented. "I want to make sure the Werdlem Empire won’t be coming after Lisan. I’ll send a message out through The Echo to alert the other 87 Primordial Beasts. If we end up needing help, they will come to our aid."
Dofrei, his disciples, and the other Primordial Beasts agreed to do the same. "We aren’t in a hurry, either. We will stay with Default for now."
"Okay, then it is decided," Soul Gem took over from there. "Let’s allow these guys to go see their families. We can meet again after a few weeks to ask them about their adventure in the Werdlem Empire and discuss everything else that has to be done. I’m sure all the insights will be very welcome. Let’s go back and spread the news."
*Zush, zush, zush, zush!*
Yet, at that moment, Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and Celis appeared around Soul Gem. "You don’t really think you will escape all that easily, do you?"
"Eh?!" Soul Gem tried to step back. "Do you really have to go that far?"
The answer to that was an almost dead Soul Gem that appeared a few hours later... One could only wonder if he was alive or if that was nothing but a ghost.
