However, if the Spiritual Resonance Cave truly contained the withering glory resonance, then it all made sense. After all, the Legendary Sect Master herself had put together its defenses. That individual was capable of obscuring time itself, preventing even future Heavenly Emperors and Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperors from learning what had happened. Shielding a particular ruin from being discovered seemed much simpler in comparison.

Li Luo's expression turned solemn. This meant that he only had a year to prepare. At his current strength, he would definitely have to participate. If the withering glory resonance were to fall into the hands of either the Shadow World or the Origin Reversion Institute, it would undoubtedly herald a calamity. Thus, they had to do whatever it took to prevent that.

If the Origin Reversion Institute's extinction resonance, which had been corrupted by the Origin of Absolute Corruption, obtained the withering glory resonance, then it might very well be capable of breaking through the coffin seal and walking the world once again.
