Duke Windy said indifferently, "Got it."

"Thank you."

Fang Heng signaled to Howell behind him to prepare for departure.

"Yes!"

Howell replied immediately and led his subordinate crew to transport the accompanying materials into the merchant ship.

The Chamber of Commerce ship had been stripped of its markings in advance and disguised as an ordinary vessel that had forcibly entered and docked at the harbor. It had not been affected by the Sea God Island inspection.

All that was needed now was to install the newly obtained divine statue.

Huh? What was that?

Duke Windy noticed the crew carrying a divine statue onto the ship and installing it at the bow, and he could not help showing a puzzled expression.

It was a divine statue he had never seen before.

Just from its appearance, the statue seemed to be of a very high level.

As he observed it from afar, an inexplicable fear rose in everyone’s hearts, while at the same time an urge to worship it appeared.

The two conflicting emotions filled their minds, making them feel uncomfortable.

Soon, within just five minutes, Howell had finished assembling the bow divine statue and prepared to set sail.

The ship slowly moved out of the harbor.

Duke Windy had already boarded a carriage and was about to leave when he suddenly heard someone shouting nearby, "Huh? Why are they heading toward the Sea God Island fleet direction!"

"What?"

What?

Duke Windy’s heart jolted. He stepped down from the carriage and looked toward the harbor exit.

He saw Fang Heng’s merchant ship enveloped in a dark red glow. Under the power of divine energy, its speed increased dramatically as it cut through the waves and accelerated toward the mouth of the bay.

So fast!

And their direction seemed...

Duke Windy’s expression changed slightly.

The ship was actually heading straight toward the Sea God Island fleet.

"They’ve gone mad! Stop them quickly!"

...

At the mouth of the bay.

The Sea God Island flagship fleet was not moving very fast.

On the flagship deck, Tobias asked, "Lyanna, can you tell me now why you were so anxious to return?"

"Because I sensed danger," Lyanna said coldly. "I had a premonition that a crisis was coming."

"What do you mean?"

Tobias frowned, finding it strange. "I remember you’re not very skilled in divination."

Lyanna pointed behind them. "Look there."

Everyone followed her gesture and looked back. A merchant ship was leaving the coastal harbor and rapidly approaching its position.

Huh?

Tobias quickly noticed something unusual.

That ship was extremely fast.

Was it using divine power?

His expression gradually became serious.

He could sense an extremely aggressive and terrifying force coming from that ship.

It looked like it was coming for them.

Tobias raised his hand, signaling the fleet to stop and turn to face the approaching vessel.

On closer inspection, the merchant ship bore no identifying marks.

A crew member reported, "Report, we have contacted the Oz Empire regarding that ship, but they have not responded. The merchant ship has also completely cut off communication."

No response?

Tobias sensed hostile intent and ordered the fleet to prepare for battle.

"Prepare to engage!"

The crystal cannons on the fleet began charging, all aiming at the merchant ship, waiting for it to enter range.

"Report! The target is about to enter firing range!"

"Report! The target has suddenly slowed down!"

At that moment, a large number of flying monsters suddenly appeared over the sea.

Dense swarms of creatures gathered above the water, rapidly approaching the fleet.

"Report! Vision is obstructed! We cannot lock onto the enemy ship!"

The flying Lickers completely blocked the firing paths of the crystal cannons.

"What are those monsters..."

Tobias stared at the flying Lickers, frowning deeply.

He had never seen such creatures before, and he could not sense any power of the Sea God from them.

What was going on?

"Hmph! Trickery!" the divine attendant Felix snorted. "Fire! Blow them to pieces!"

"Fire! Fire!"

Instantly, the crystal cannons roared, and the ships trembled violently.

Dense beams of energy shot toward the flying Lickers.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

The beams exploded upon impact, but Tobias frowned even more.

The attacks did not penetrate the monsters as expected.

Even after being hit, the creatures were not dead.

Their severely damaged bodies were rapidly regenerating as they fell.

The shockwaves only slowed them down briefly.

Soon, the swarm recovered and continued advancing.

"This is wrong!" Tobias narrowed his eyes. "Something is wrong! Those people are the problem! Activate the divine system immediately!"

"Yes!"

The priests on board immediately began the divine summoning ritual.

A defensive barrier formed around each ship.

At the same time, divine power created enormous whirlpools across the sea.

Water formed giant hands that shot up from the whirlpools, grabbing the flying Lickers and dragging them into the sea.

On the distant shore, Duke Windy watched the battle unfold with shock.

Everything before him exceeded his understanding.

It was insane.

Fang Heng had actually charged directly at the Sea God Island main fleet.

How could he dare to do that?

Even more unbelievable, Sea God Island seemed to be at a disadvantage.

"What are those flying creatures?"

"Lickers."

Duke Windy turned abruptly and saw Princess Willow beside him, immediately bowing respectfully.

"They are called Lickers," she said calmly. "They are said to be alchemical creatures with terrifying vitality."

After learning that Sea God Island had left the empire, Princess Willow had immediately gone to find Fang Heng.

She had not expected him to move even faster.

She had followed him to the harbor just in time to witness this scene.

"What do you think?" she asked.

"They are indeed very powerful," Duke Windy admitted.

If such creatures could be mass-produced and controlled, the Oz Empire could dominate the entire sea.

However...

Fang Heng had chosen the wrong opponent.

That was Sea God Island.

It would not fall so easily.

Princess Willow said calmly, "Previously, Fang Heng used Lickers to destroy the divine attendants’ team."

What?

Duke Windy’s pupils contracted violently as he asked, "Really?"
