Chapter 3100: No Shame in Staying Longer

Chapter 3100: Chapter 3100: No Shame in Staying Longer

Junior Sister Jun withdrew her hand from Little Junior Sister’s wrist and let out a soft sigh.

"The people from Saintess Sect were too ruthless. Little Junior Sister has suffered severe internal injuries and fainted from shock. I can prescribe a formula and refine some medicinal pills for her to take."

She turned her head to look at Second Senior Brother and the others.

"However, I don’t have the herbs on hand and need to go outside to buy them."

She really didn’t want to fill this hole for Little Junior Sister; whoever’s responsible should deal with it. Anyway, she’s not going to pay for the herbs; at most, she’ll exert some effort to refine the medicinal pills.

Upon hearing this, Second Senior Brother turned his head to glance at his Fifth Junior Brother.

"I’ll go buy them."

Fifth Senior Brother immediately responded.

What else could he do? They were the ones who brought her out. If she died, it would all be their fault. At the very least, they have to bring the living Little Junior Sister back to the Sect.

"Trouble Junior Sister Jun to write the prescription."

"Alright."

Junior Sister Jun nodded.

However, before she could write the prescription, a servant from the Qing Family brought in a pharmacist.

The pharmacist examined Little Junior Sister from the Bright Moon Sect thoroughly and said words that were quite similar to Junior Sister Jun’s, but she mentioned some things Jun hadn’t.

"This young lady has broken three ribs, a leg bone, and there’s also a bone fracture near the jaw."

Second Senior Brother listened to the pharmacist’s words from the Qing Family and turned to look at Junior Sister Jun.

Junior Sister Jun saw him looking over and couldn’t pretend not to know; she had to nod. She had seen it before, but these injuries seemed minor to her.

Moreover, she genuinely didn’t want to touch Little Junior Sister too much. As long as her internal injuries were healed, the other external injuries could be treated with some medicinal pills.

At most, it’s just a matter of recuperating for a few more days.

Seeing her nod as well, Second Senior Brother inhaled deeply, his face as dark as could be.

Such a hassle; they were really dragged down terribly by Little Junior Sister during this training expedition. With injuries like these, how long would they have to stay in the Saintess Sect Main City before they could set out?

They came out for training, not to tour the mountains and rivers. How could they stay in one place for so long?

If they stayed at the Qing Family... they wouldn’t have the face to stay indefinitely.

It’s really a headache, too much of a headache.

"Trouble the pharmacist. We’ll leave the treatment up to you." He bowed to the pharmacist and said.

"No problem."

The pharmacist, seeing his courteous demeanor, smiled.

She was a pharmacist supported by the Qing Family; whenever the Qing Family needed her, she had to step forward. Besides, she only knew these people were guests of the Qing Family Head’s young grandson.

As for anything else, it was not within her reach to inquire into, and how this lady was injured, the less said, the better; she need not know.

"Once I have refined the medicinal pills, I will have someone bring them over. Meanwhile, give this young lady a Spirit-Nurturing Pill." She said as she took out a porcelain bottle from her bosom and handed it to Second Senior Brother.

"Thank you, pharmacist. How should we handle the costs...?"

Second Senior Brother took the pill and asked directly. He wasn’t the type of person who lacked self-awareness; even as guests, they shouldn’t just take things for free.

"No need, you’re friends of the Eldest Young Master and hence guests of the Qing Family." The pharmacist gave them a subtle nod and left with a faint smile.

Once only they remained in the room, everyone exhaled a sigh of relief; at last, they need not feel embarrassed anymore.
