Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3658: Test Begins

Chapter 3658: Test Begins

After Silkspear, Alex moved on to help Hao Ya.

Hao Ya’s roots were already quite good, with her Wood root being properly empowered by her Water root, and a weak Metal root barely affecting anything at all. She had a Yin root as well, a rather strong one, that ended up indirectly helping her Wood root through her Water root.

"For you, I suggest finding a way to improve your Wood root even more, sister Hao Ya," Alex said. "However, you won’t see much improvement at all. Perhaps only just a few percent. A better solution for you would be to find a way to weaken your Metal and Water roots as much as you can. Since it will be difficult to make those sorts of changes permanently, you might just have to rely on pills."

Hao Ya slowly nodded. From the sounds of things, she didn’t have to do anything actively at all.

Once Alex explained their situations to the two women, he looked down at the artifact. Aside from his own roots, he had no way of telling if the results for the other roots were true at all. There may have been broad truths, but what about the exact truth?

Since he knew himself so well, he could compare his own understanding of himself against the artifact’s result and see how close to the truth it really was. Thinking as much, Alex held onto the handles of the artifact and activated it.

He felt the energy from the artifact enter his body quickly and return back outside just as quickly. When it did, seven different powerful colors burst out with separate Elemental Qi.

Of those, three nearly overwhelmed every other color by how saturated they were. Those were the colors of the Yang, Yin, and Metal auras. While yellow, black, and gold shone the brightest, the others weren’t far behind.

Rich red and brown colors covered his vision as well, the auras of Fire and Earth being close to each other in terms of potency. Then came the Wood aura, finally followed by the Water aura, which was evidently the weakest spirit root he had. However, despite that, the strength of his Water aura was almost as strong as the strongest root either of the two women had.

Both Hao Ya and Silkspear were left in a state of stunned silence as they felt the artifact with their spiritual sense, attempting to make sense of the aura they experienced. It was simply so absurd that there was someone out there who not only had all seven spirit roots, but also had them at a very high level.

People would be called talented even in the Immortal realm if they had a single one of Alex’s spirit roots, and here he was with seven of them.

"You never fail to keep surprising me," Silkspear said as she shook her head in disbelief.

Hao Ya knew about his spirit roots from the start, but even so, she was surprised at just how strong they all were.

Alex gave a small smile toward the two women before focusing his attention on the artifact. Judging by the strength of his spirit roots, it was clear that the artifact did work perfectly as expected.

As such, Alex gave the command for the tests to begin everywhere. He couldn’t go to every single person out there, so what was to be done instead was for someone to record the spirit root tests. And based on the results of the tests, Alex could give everyone the proper advice they deserved.

Considering the amount of people he would have to help, it was going to take such a long time. Depending on how much free time he had after this, Alex wanted to improve his Origin Transcendence and fill up the rest of his origins soon.

Silkspear helped Alex with the task. Over the next few weeks, she had several artifacts similar to Bluedoor’s prepared and ready to use. Alex tested each one by himself before sending it out to collect data.

Just a day later, nearly four thousand test results came back, needing him to go through them as soon as he could.

Alex sped through the replies and suggestions. Most of the Sky God’s soldiers were close to doing the best they could already, so there wasn’t a need for Alex to intervene in most cases. He gave simple orders, mostly for those for whom the improvement could have the greatest reward.

Alex performed very few tests all by himself, and not through a recording process, which he had to argue was for the sake of his own sanity. When someone important did come by, he took the tests directly and gave them the answer right there.

Most of the people Alex talked to either didn’t believe his words at all or were happy beyond belief to hear that there was something they could do that could improve their cultivation speed.

Funnily enough, those who didn’t believe his words in the slightest were, in fact, those who had the highest level of improvement to go through. It was just that the improvement was so massive that they simply doubted it in the first place.

One of the reverends Alex had never seen before, who went by the name of Newhorn, arrived to personally take the tests. When Alex tested her spirit roots, he found that the person not only had a strong Wood root, but she also had a strong Fire root as well as a strong Yang root.

When Alex realized that this Reverend had been cultivating her whole life with just Wood-based cultivation techniques, he explained the benefit of doing it the other way.

Since Fire was improved by both Wood and Yang, it made sense for her to use the Fire spirit root.

"If you switch to a Fire cultivation technique, you will see quite the changes to your cultivation speed," he told her. "It is perhaps the fastest one I’ve ever seen, at close to 70% improvement."

The Reverend stared at Alex with only a blink of her eyes. There was no way this was possible, was it?
