Chapter 3109: Damned!

Chapter 3109: Damned!

Date: Unspecified

Time: Unspecified

Location: Myriad Realms, Lil’ Red Storm Realm

Dalia was unlike other True Celestials. She possessed genuine Celestialhood, but at her core, she was a hybrid, much like her younger brother. Her existence was a strange convergence of multiple powerful heritages: a True Celestial, a Celestial Array Spirit, a Viltronian, a World-Devouring Daughter Tree, and the mysterious Curse Primordial Bloodline.

Each heritage brought its own strengths. And when combined within a single existence, they made Dalia capable of things an ordinary Celestial simply couldn’t accomplish.

Despite her long lifespan, Dalia’s womb, the Lil’ Red Storm Realm itself, was still relatively empty. She had only recently achieved True Celestialhood and gained the ability to sense the Origin Source. Her understanding and accumulation of rules within her womb were therefore nowhere near what one would expect from a Celestial who had existed for countless years.

Under normal circumstances, this should have been a fatal weakness. If an ordinary Celestial with such an almost empty womb had allowed Thalorien’s Frost Rule Stream to invade it so deeply, the consequences would have been catastrophic.

The Frost Rule Stream didn’t merely invade the womb but destroy it, ending the celestial in both spiritual and physical planes. Now regular celestials would have been able to survive it, let alone one with a womb devoid of rule and rule stream.

They would have been overwhelmed and destroyed from within before the Celestial even had the opportunity to resist. But Dalia survived without any damage, however, she was anything but ordinary.

She was a True Celestial, but she was also much more than one. Her other heritages had endowed her with an absurd degree of resilience. The Viltronian bloodline made her physical existence extraordinarily difficult to destroy. The World-Devouring Daughter Tree heritage gave her an equally terrifying vitality and regenerative ability, but when it came to spiritual safety, no being could match it.

The Celestial Array Spirit heritage allowed her consciousness to exist in a manner fundamentally different from an ordinary Celestial. And the Curse Primordial Bloodline added yet another layer of resilience that Dalia or her younger brother themselves had no understanding of.

Together, those inheritances had protected her immature womb from an attack that should have killed any other celestial in her place.

The enormous Treant form she had manifested was also a product of those extraordinary inheritances. More specifically, it originated from her World-Devouring Daughter Tree heritage.

It was her Primordial Calamity Daughter’s Gem transformation, Primordial Elder Titan Form, combined with the overwhelming physical strength granted by her Viltronian heritage.

That was why Dalia could overpower Thalorien’s Frost Rule Incarnation physically with ease.

Thalorien had transformed himself into the incarnation of a Frost Rule Stream containing millions of Rule Meanings. He had spent his entire life refining that power. Yet, when it came to raw physical strength, his ultimate Frost Incarnation was still being overpowered by Dalia.

Not because her Frost Rule was stronger. Not because her comprehension surpassed his. But because the thing standing before him wasn’t simply a Celestial. It was a hybrid existence whose various bloodlines had stacked their strengths upon one another.

And Thalorien was beginning to understand just how terrifying the difference between an ordinary Celestial and Dalia truly was. Yet even that realization failed to prepare him for what he was witnessing. It was beyond his comprehension.

In his long lifespan, Thalorien had encountered countless powerful beings, strange bloodlines, ancient races, and bizarre existences throughout the Myriad Realms. He had even witnessed phenomena that would have been considered impossible by ordinary Ruler-class entities.

But nothing resembled Dalia. He couldn’t even imagine that an existence like her was possible. Her very existence seemed to violate the natural order of the Myriad Realms. And then his horror reached an entirely new level.

While his Frost Rule Incarnation wrestled with the Celestial Treant in the vast void, something began moving beneath the Treant’s mud-covered surface, roots.

They emerged from within the mud layer covering Dalia’s enormous body. At first, Thalorien assumed they were merely part of her Treant form. Then they pierced his Frost Rule Incarnation. The roots dug directly into his body. They branched and borrowed deeper. Then branched and borrowed further.

Each root split into countless smaller tendrils that burrowed deeper into his Frost Rule Incarnation, searching through the enormous body he had created from millions of Frost Rule Meanings.

Thalorien immediately attempted to freeze them. That should have been effortless. He was the incarnation of the Frost Rule. Anything that entered his body should have been frozen instantly. Yet the roots froze... And continued moving. The frozen roots simply kept advancing. They weren’t slowed or damaged. They continued burrowing through his Frost Rule Incarnation as though the absolute cold surrounding them was nothing more than an inconvenience.

Thalorien’s expression changed completely. He unleashed one Frost Rule Meaning after another. Then another. He used different interpretations of frost, each possessing properties that had taken him years, decades, or even centuries to comprehend.

Every one of them failed. Some tried to slow the roots. Others tried to sever them. Some attempted to destroy their vitality directly. None of them worked. The roots simply continued growing and digging deeper into his Frost Rule Incarnation body.

They branched throughout his enormous Frost Rule Incarnation, spreading through his body like an invasive organism searching for something hidden. Then Thalorien understood what they were looking for, his unholy core. The foundation around which his entire Frost Rule Incarnation had been constructed, the foundation of his very being.

His eyes widened in urgency. He immediately poured more Frost Rule Power into his body, desperately trying to block their path. Like someone doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results, a fool. Not that he had a choice, in his frost rule incarnation form, he could access his other rules. But he didn’t dare to undo it because in that fraction of second Dalia could end him. He was in a tough position. Damned if you do, Damned if you don’t. Meanwhile, the roots ignored everything he threw at them and continued on bypassing one defensive layer after another.
