Chapter 3213: Right’s To The Card World

Location: Myriad Realms, Azorheim, Temporal Cave Valley, Temporal Cave No. ES3030

After creating and distributing the first batch of Inheritance Jewel Cards, I created a hundred thousand more to store in the new empire’s vault for distribution and to create a repository of the runes and divinities like the one Morningstar University had. However, mine wouldn’t just contain the runes and divinities of the New Empire’s card apprentices, but those of the New Empire’s enemies too.

Everyone was not born equal, so no matter how many methods, like soul cores and gems, I created, there would always be people whose talent would not be able to match their ambitions. They might not be able to reach higher realms by breaking past their mortal limits, or they might not have time to comprehend all the rules and their meanings.

However, that would not stop them from pursuing their ambitions. They would work harder to make up for their lack of talent. This repository of runes and divinities would become the hope of such card apprentices, aiding them in keeping up with their colleagues while simultaneously working harder to climb the next step.

It’s not some miracle repository, just a little hope for even the most hopeless of us.

I relayed the detailed information on the repository to my wives, asking them to implement it in the New Empire. This would help them start creating their own armies, especially Susan, who happened to have gained the trust of all the commoners and low-level card apprentices. For them, the runes and divinities stored in the repository would be very attractive.

Especially now that anyone could build their soul core and then forge it into a soul gem within the New Empire. Even though their strength would be weak, they were actual subjects of the New Empire. Without them, these high-level card apprentices and demigods wouldn’t have a New Empire to guard.

Having made the arrangements to use Inheritance Jewel Cards to create a royal repository, I was ready to move on to the next agenda on the list. But then I received an urgent update from one of my Calamity Daughter Gems, Gideon Grim, through Hive Spirit.

After ordering him to free all his victims across the Five Regions, I had Gideon Grim monitor the dark faction of the Seven Princes of Hell from within and keep me updated. Thanks to him keeping watch on Belphegor and his mates, I was able to spare my mind for other developments.

According to Gideon’s update, the leaders of the Seven Princes of Hell’s dark faction had announced to the faction members that a major Ruler Class force had approached them to buy the rights to the Card World.

The leaders of the Seven Princes of Hell could not disclose the name of the Ruler Class buyer because of the confidentiality requested by the buyer, but they assured the faction members that the Ruler Class force in question was more than capable of paying them ten times the price of the rights to the Card World. And it appeared they were willing to pay a good amount to acquire the rights to the Card World.

The leaders of the Seven Princes of Hell were now urging their members to submit an honest status report on the territories they governed and the forces under their command so they could determine whether it would be more profitable to sell the rights to the Card World or invade the Card World while trying to maintain their territories and fulfill their prior commitments.

According to Gideon’s personal observation, except for Belphegor, all the leaders of the Seven Princes of Hell were planning to sell the rights to the Card World to the Ruler-Class buyer at a massive markup. However, since it was Belphegor who had bought the rights to the Card Realm, the other leaders had given him an ultimatum to prove within a day that they would be able to make considerably more profit by keeping the rights to the Card World. Otherwise, they would sell the rights to the Card World the very next day.

Gideon believed that Belphegor’s chances of getting his way were more than slim, but still shy of being a certainty.

As it turned out, the members of the Seven Princes of Hell’s dark faction weren’t thrilled about their leaders finding a Ruler-Class buyer for the rights to the Card World because if the Demon Merchant Code’s transportation rights for the Card Realm were sold, all the profits would go into the pockets of their leaders, and they would get nothing.

However, if they were to invade the Card World, they would get to kill and loot to their hearts’ content while being compensated for their work. And most importantly, based on their merit, they would get a share of the Celestial Will Fragments they managed to harvest from destroying the Card World.

So, weighing the two outcomes against each other, it was clear which one the members of the Seven Princes of Hell’s dark faction sided with. Therefore, Gideon believed that Belphegor had enough odds on his side, but not enough to announce victory before the results were announced.

Belphegor also knew this. Therefore, he was taking Gideon with him to meet the other leaders privately in the hopes of lobbying them. In other words, Belphegor was loosening his purse strings to get a few more leaders on his side. But knowing that the other leaders would give up the fortune to be made for momentary small gains, he brought along Gideon so the latter could hype up the resources of the Card World and explain to them that there was a lot of profit to be made in the Card World, which was why the Ruler-Class force was approaching them to buy the Demon Merchant Code’s transportation rights to the Card World.

As such, Gideon wanted to know my opinion about the ordeal and his new orders: should he help Belphegor stop the other leaders from selling the rights to the Card World to the Ruler Class force?
