Chapter 2553: Chapter 2553: Arrest Huang Huiling

As for others, she would leave them behind. She was afraid it would restrain her escape. While she was in a hurry, she did not notice someone was watching her.

Huang Huiling was rushing to the kitchen door when she heard a dog barking. She saw the puppy in front of her. She clicked her tongue and wanted to kick this dog.

However, when her leg was about to land on the dog, she felt pain in her leg. She could see one long scratch on her legs. The blood was already gushing out. She looked at the dog who was silently staring at her.

She felt like this dog was not normal. Its stare was like it stared at an idiot. She immediately felt like this dog was possessed by a ghost.

"Huiling, what are you doing here? First Madam wants to meet you." A maid said.

Then, the maid saw Huang Huiling’s legs. She was shocked.

"What happened here?" The maid asked.

"That dog scratches me until I bleed." Huang Huiling pointed at Aoi.

She looked at Aoi. When her eyes landed on Aoi, Aoi already acted like a normal dog with his tongue dangling outside his mouth and his tail was wagging. It confirmed Huang Huiling’s theory that Aoi was not a normal dog.

"This dog is being possessed." Huang Huiling shouted.

"Huiling, what are you talking about?" The maid was confused. "Anyway, let’s treat the wound first."

Hang Chu Xiao appeared. She looked at Huang Huiling.

"What happened here?" Hang Chu Xiao asked.

"I don’t know. But Huiling was injured." The maid said.

"That dog scratched me." Huang Huiling said.

"Let’s bandage her leg first. First Madam is waiting." Hang Chu Xiao said.

"No... I want that dog to pay..." Huang Huiling shouted.

Hang Chu Xiao pressed hard on Huang Huiling’s wound.

"Ahh!!! That’s hurt." Huang Huiling exclaimed.

Hang Chu Xiao ignored Huang Huiling and continued bandaging the wound. After she finished, she took the bag that Huang Huiling was carrying and looked inside.

"Interesting. Huang Huiling, are you trying to run away now?" Hang Chu Xiao asked Huang Huiling.

"What? No!!!" Huang Huiling denied it immediately.

"Then, I will hold your things first. Let’s go to the living room. Someone is waiting for you." Hang Chu Xiao stated. She took out a walkie-talkie and spoke into it. "We find her in the second kitchen. Yes."

"Stand up and follow me." Hang Chu Xiao stated.

Huang Huiling and the maid could feel that Hang Chu Xiao was very scary at the moment. Hang Chu Xiao was very loyal to the Tang Family. She had regarded the Tang Family as her family. She would protect the Tang Family.

So, when Pei Xian told Hang Chu Xiao about Huang Huiling’s suspicious outing, she had been observing Huang Huiling closely. Then, the police officers came, knocking, wanting to arrest Huang Huiling. She knew that Huang Huiling would not stay in the house for long.

Huang Huiling could only follow the instruction, holding back her pain and stood up. She followed Hang Chu Xiao. Before she left the kitchen, she turned back to see Aoi.

Aoi already returned to the weird dog, staring at her. She could feel that Aoi was smiling at her. She became scared and fastened her pace. She actually forgot that she would be seeing the police. When she arrived in the living room and faced the police officers, she immediately remembered it.

The police officer already told Grandpa Tang and Ming Yue about that matter. They did not expect that Huang Huiling would be so brave as to steal from them. Like people always said, protecting against outside thieves was simpler than guarding against insiders.

"Huang Huiling, you are a suspect in the robbery case. Please follow us to the police station." The police officer said.

"No... No... It is not me." Huang Huiling did not want to admit it.

"We already have the confession from your parents. You can not deny it." The police officer stated.

"They are lying." Huang Huiling said. "Yes. They wanted to destroy me when they knew that I worked at the Tang Residence."

Huang Huiling really tried to push all of the blame to her parents. To be honest, it was indeed her parents, especially her mother, who ordered her to steal from the Tang Residence. However, Huang Huiling had a choice not to follow her mother but she still stole the items. It was because she also wanted the money.

The police officer did not want to listen to Huang Huiling’s mumbling anymore. He signalled his subordinates to take Huang Huiling away. Huang Huiling knew that struggling meant nothing but she still did it. She was dragged out.

"Master Tang, we will try to recover the stolen items." The police officer said.

"Hmm... I believe in you guys." Grandpa Tang nodded.

The police officer finished excuse himself and left. Grandpa Tang and Ming Yue looked at each other.

"You really don’t notice your necklace had been stolen?" Grandpa Tang asked.

"No, I don’t. You should know I don’t usually wear anything except for my wedding ring. I keep my jewellery in the drawer in my bedroom. She probably stole them when she came over, cleaning my room." Ming Yue said.

"Hmm... Let’s call the lawyer and discuss what we should do. We can not let her walk away just like that." Grandpa Tang stated.
