"Oh, I see. Sure." The man nodded after a brief pause.

The man led them toward the house.

"Elder Chong, Sir Long and Lady Tang are here." The man announced loudly.

Lu Chong heard that and quickly stepped out of the house.

"Sir Long, Lady Tang... You are here. That means the time has finally come." Lu Chong was so happy to see Long Hui and Yu Qi.

Then, his smile vanished as his eyes landed on the figure standing behind Yu Qi and Long Hui.

"Who is this?" Lu Chong asked cautiously.

"He is that villager leader. He wants to say something to you all." Yu Qi said.

The village leader stepped forward, facing Lu Chong.

"Hello... I am the villager leader, Song Nanying. I would like to apologise for what happened back then. I heard that one of my villagers came here to rob. We only found out about this matter.
