I'm sorry for being away for so long from the novel. I know some of you might have lost touch from the novel.

If you're wondering why I was away and did not post a single chapter, it's because life happened.

The past year has not been the very best for me due to me studying medicine.

Medicine is stressful and takes up a lot of time.

University is just very hard to get by. My day from morning 8 to evening 7 was packed with rest days only on Sundays where I was burnt out and did not feel like doing anything.

Now though, I've completed my first academic year and it's vacation.

I've heard from others that it gets a lot less stressful from second academic year onwards as there's only one class per day.

I'm looking forward to that.

I am so back now.

I am pumped to write my new chapters of VSOL and finally get back.

There's 7 [Don't unlock] chapters of Vsol currently and I'll update them one by one in the coming two-three days.

I'm actively mailing discord and trying to get my account back.

Also, look forward to my next Patreon post. I am posting some very important stuff related to VSOL's world building and lore.

The VSOL universe:

Here you have it, at last, in a clear manner, what the universe of VSOL exactly is.

I've not been able to dive into world building because of writing the war plot.

Honestly, I very much like world building and lore and I just can't wait to share it with you guys.

These don't have any spoilers by the way, so you can read them without worries.

Now, let's unpack what the VSOL universe has.

The VSOL universe is divided into two parts: Upper and Lower. That's it. Really.

Since the start of the novel, I've kept things relatively simple and the Vsol universe is just as simple too.

However, here comes the complex part.

You all know about the 12 elements, right?

They were Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning, Light, Life, Death, Dark, Destruction, Space, and Time.

The upper realm has a single plane in which these twelve elements are present in "zones".

Now, if you think of zones, there should be some boundary or something at the center, right?

There's indeed something important at the center.

These zones are present around this important center but in a very complex geometrical topography.

One would think that one can only find Dark element in the Dark zone, but well, at the edge of the Dark zone, as it shares boundary with the Death zone, you can find Dark and Death both.

Now, what if I tell you, the dimensions are so mind boggling and complex of these zones that you can even find overlap not between one or two of these zones, but all twelve at certain places!

Dimension is a very weird thing and deciphering it is very strange too.

Anywho, that's the world building of the upper realm. It wasn't a spoiler because the plot revolves around that "center" I talked about. It has a name. It has an importance. You'll find out in later chapters once we are done with this arc.

And also, all living beings of the upper realm reside strictly in these zones.

The "center" is empty.

Why?

You'll find you.

And I can't dive much deeper into it, because a scholar(me) once said:

"To dive into the mysteries of the universe is to drown in madness. There are simpler, quieter ways to die than losing your mind piece by piece."

"There's a similar situation going on in the Asura God Clan, however they've yet to find out who's the one responsible for it." Fei stated.

"Good." Lith said and unfurled a map on the table. It had a holographic projection of the star system and was enclosed within a rectangular area.

Swiping his hand, the star system got divided into three regions.

On the left and right side of the rectangular map, flaf pyramid-shaped outlines pointed inwardly. These two areas were the territories of the Asura God Clan and Evure God Clan.

Between them, whatever area was left belonged to the rest of Shen Ze's population, that is, the central alliance.

At the very center of them all was Qing Mei Sect, in a circular area surrounded by their allies, far from the reach of the two major powerhouses.

Or one could say, the three major clans of Shen Ze stayed at a proper distance from each other to avoid any conflicts and meaningless power struggle.

Lith swiped his hand again and the Asura territory's outline got colored in red, while the EGC's got colored in blue.

In the middle, the Qing Mei Sect was colored pink while the allies were colored green.

All the ladies turned their attention to this map, and momentarily, Fanny placed the topic regarding her mother to the back of her mind, making her heave a sigh of relief internally.
