Chapter 3163: Chapter 652: The Doctor Who Saved Civilization, the Medicine God at the End of Gods and Demons! (2)

Levi said:

"Thank you, madam, I know what to do."

Before Netherworld Ancestor left, he warned, "The Nightmare Stone is the power of the Supreme Will. Be careful when you refine it, do it little by little, too much is as bad as too little."

...

Levi found Fingal.

He took out half of the Nightmare Stone Fragments.

"A bitter battle is coming next. You go to the Nightmare World to refine these, strive to step into level-10 Late Stage within ten years. The Nightmare World still needs to be under your control."

Fingal said:

"I understand."

He was only one step away from the Late Stage.

With the Nightmare Stone, it would be very easy for him to step in. To lead these Nightmare Monarchs, he needed at least Four Emperor Level strength to be more at ease.

...

Back in the Ancient Banyan Fairyland.

Inside the cave, Leon was lying on a pile of cans, asleep.

Levi muttered helplessly to himself:

"Who knows when this guy will wake up. The great war is about to start, and the souls of those Gods and demons can’t be wasted..."

After Devouring a Supreme Level true soul, Leon went back to sleep again.

This sleep lasted for several hundred years.

"Eat then sleep, sleep then eat... now that’s the dream life."

Although he hadn’t been Grand Council Chairman for many years, Levi was already somewhat tired. This sense of bearing the revival of a civilization and holding the lives of the masses in his hands was far too heavy.

It didn’t really fit his personality.

If Nora could truly accomplish the great undertaking of unifying the Universe and stabilizing the situation, Levi would put everything down and hand the position of Grand Council Chairman over to Ace.

...

Years passed.

When the Gondor Three Heroes emerged into the world, Nora birthed three more Legendary Wizards, namely [Death Wind], [Fertile Soil Empress], and [Black Iron Venerable].

Death Wind was a rare Dual Practitioner of the Storm and Death Sects, registered under the Storm Faction. His Legendary Profession and legendary title had the same name, and he was tremendously powerful. He did not follow the Summoning Style, but attacked his enemies with winds of Death Energy.

Fertile Soil Empress’s Legendary Profession was [Earth Gardener]. As the name implied, her Ability focused on farming. The Legendary spell [Fertile Breath] could ripen medicines, improve the Continent’s soil quality, and benefit oasis plants as well, helping to resist the Abyss.

Black Iron Venerable was the Black Iron Walker. He was of the same era as the White Banker, and also advanced to legendary in his later years. His Legendary Profession was [Black Iron Dominator].

Nora’s surviving legendary powerhouses had reached 39 in number.

Time flowed by.

On the eve of Nora’s preparations to crusade against the Underworld and the Abyss, on the Ancient Dragon Continent, winds and clouds surged, all converging upon the Witch’s Family. The earth-shaking Anomaly alarmed countless people.

At the round table, Levi, who was in the middle of a meeting, paused for a moment.

Emotions stirred in his heart.

Triss was finally going to advance to legendary.

Emmon said:

"The Medicine God finally has a successor."

For the Nora Civilization, the importance of Triss becoming legendary went without saying. Her cultivation talent might be relatively ordinary, but her pharmacist talent was rarely seen throughout the ages.

At the ninth-circle she had already developed so many epoch-making medicines.

If she advanced to legendary, what then?

Triss arrived on the Sorren Continent.

She could feel the attention from the masses of living beings.

It was as if some Invisible power was blessing her.

"Perhaps, this is the fortune of a civilization. Individual and civilization fulfill each other. For Nora to smoothly give birth to so many legendaries is the result of the right time, the right place, and the right people."

Triss understood this in her heart.

"I can be legendary too!"

She threw many poison and water-related materials into the Refining Array, forming under the Sky Dome a pitch-black, ink-like vortex of Poison Sea, incomparably chilling. Clad in a black veil, Triss beneath the Poison Sea was like a cold, elegant and noble Beauty Snake.

Three years later.

A wisp of hazy black gas coiled around Triss’s slender, jade-white fingertips.

She murmured:

"Legendary Artifact · Black Sea Breath."

If she did not return, she hoped that her relatives and friends would not grieve for too long. Taking a deep breath, she refined the oddity, stepped onto the pitch-black rainbow bridge, and strode straight into the Darkness.

"Mom, you can do it!"

"Grandma, go for it!"

Within the Mechanical Sky Net, Eyre and his son Anya appeared.

Levi watched the lady’s disappearing silhouette.

"I’ll be waiting for your return, madam."

...

Time passed day by day in the torment of waiting.

In the blink of an eye, a month had gone by.

At Dusk that day.

Levi, who was meditating at the round table, opened his eyes, excitement shining within.

"She’s back!"

He saw, high above the heavens.

The black bridge appeared once more, and that veiled black figure stepped upon the waves, walking over one step at a time.

Around her followed five poisonous phantoms, and behind her was a boundless Black Sea. The waves, like loyal guards, shielded her at the center, Pursuing Shadows. Wherever the Black Water passed, the Void was corroded, all things receded, leaving blotches of black scars across heaven and earth that were hard to heal.

Triss arrived on the Sorren Continent.

She looked at the devastated scene behind her.

"Grand Council Chairman, could I trouble you to deal with this.

I’ve just become legendary and still can’t freely control Legendary Power..."

Levi came back to his senses and let out an "oh."

He raised his hand and waved. Vast Chaotic Power brushed over the wounds of heaven and earth. Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water evolved and reshaped this world, and the blue sky and white clouds reappeared.

Levi said with a smile:

"Congratulations, madam."

Triss lifted her gaze to look at Levi.

"Along the way, thank you, Grand Council Chairman, for your support."

The three Poison Monarchs she’d used to refine the oddity, including the Heart of Thousand Poisons and other poison system materials, had all been given by Levi. She would naturally not forget these favors.

Levi said:

"You are the treasure of our Nora. It’s not that I supported you; it’s that the civilization needs you. We need a new Medicine God... and that role belongs to you and you alone."

Triss’s face flushed slightly.

Then she thought of the Thousand Mountains Immortal.

In the crowd, the Mountain Knight was wearing a gratified smile.

This old Medicine God of bygone days had known it all along.
