The Extreme Alchemist of the Mighty Cauldron

Chapter 1841 - 1938 - : Black White Taoist Sage

Chapter 1841: 1938 Chapter: Black White Taoist Sage

The many strong figures present watched as Fang Qingye collected the True Dragon corpse himself, each wearing a strange expression, but none dared to speak, at most muttering to themselves.

It was clear that Fang Qingye intended to claim the True Dragon corpse for himself. Although there was nothing wrong with that, since such a large True Dragon corpse was not left at all for others, naturally some would feel discontent in their hearts.

Moreover, in the eyes of many, Fang Qingye had already cultivated to the Martial Lord realm. Even this True Dragon corpse should hold no significance for him.

Fortunately, Fang Qingye did not go too far. Although he took away the True Dragon corpse, he left the Dragon Blood on the ground untouched.

Fang Qingye looked at the ground full of Dragon Blood and sighed quietly in his heart. He had planned to leave this Dragon Blood for the people present. How much each could snatch depended on their own abilities.

Just as Fang Qingye was about to leave, he suddenly felt something and looked towards a group of Martial Artists flying in the distance.

Fang Qingye frowned slightly. As a Martial Lord, he was particularly sensitive to the energy of the world. For a brief moment, he felt as though someone very familiar was there.

But the feeling vanished in an instant. Fang Qingye’s gaze was sharp, sweeping over each of the Martial Artists, but he found no familiar faces.

Though puzzled, Fang Qingye did not linger long. With a swift movement, he disappeared from everyone’s sight.

In the crowd, Fang Lin felt complicated and excited when Fang Qingye’s gaze swept over, but he did not show it, behaving no differently from a common person.

It was fortunate that Fang Qingye did not investigate closely; otherwise, with his abilities as a Martial Lord, he would certainly have noticed something unusual about Fang Lin.

Fang Lin knew he could not meet and recognize Fang Qingye, nor could he let Fang Qingye know of his existence.

After Fang Qingye left, the large amount of Dragon Blood on the ground quickly became something for the strong forces to fight over. Whether human or demon clan, no one could suppress their greed, each striving to obtain a share of the Dragon Blood.

Even some with lower cultivation foolishly joined in, hoping to rely on luck to scoop a drop or two of Dragon Blood, only to meet a tragic end at the hands of other powerful figures.

These weaker individuals, driven by greed, assumed that amidst so many fighting, they too could benefit by being cautious. Unfortunately, they were too naive. Such a rare treasure as Dragon Blood was not something for the weak to covet.

Fang Lin did not join in the fight for the Dragon Blood. He was not interested in it. Besides, Fang Lin himself owned a True Dragon, so he already had plenty of Dragon Blood if he wanted.

····

The Yin Yang Fish Plate, carrying the spirit of the black-dressed woman, had fled an unknown distance. Confirming that Fang Lin did not pursue, it descended into a mountain hollow.

The spirit appeared, but it was merely a faint, blurry green shadow, as if a gust of wind could disperse it entirely.

"Damn Fang Lin! Making me abandon my body, this vendetta will be repaid a hundredfold!" The black-dressed woman was extremely enraged.

Losing her body, even though she was an Immortal, was a severe blow. If she didn’t quickly find a suitable body to attach to, her spirit would grow weaker over time until it completely dispersed.

Even with the Yin Yang Fish Plate able to preserve her spirit, being without a body was still immensely inconvenient.

Yet finding a suitable body was not easy. Firstly, the cultivation must be suitable, not too high nor too low. For the black-dressed woman, the body of a Long-lived One was the most appropriate.

Moreover, if the body was incompatible with the spirit, it would be another damage, consuming much of her spiritual power.

Even if she found a suitable body and successfully attached to it, the black-dressed woman did not know how many years it would take to restore her energy, with her cultivation possibly experiencing a significant drop.

It could be said that the black-dressed woman, having narrowly escaped and fled from Fang Lin’s control, paid an unimaginable price.

But for the black-dressed woman, having escaped from Fang Lin and gained her freedom, no matter the cost, she had made her choice without room for regret.

Just as the black-dressed woman was thinking of searching nearby for a suitable body to attach to, she saw a figure sweep across the sky.

"Hmm?" This person, dressed in white robes, had a handsome face, exuding an ethereal and transcendent aura that instantly endeared him to others at first sight.

This person, extremely perceptive, noticed the treasure below, immediately descending towards the mountain hollow where the Yin Yang Fish Plate lay.

"Not good!" The black-dressed woman was shocked. The Yin Yang Fish Plate was a supreme treasure. If it was taken by someone else, she would lose her means of survival, and with her spirit alone, she was likely to be captured too.

Without hesitation, the black-dressed woman fled into the Yin Yang Fish Plate, breaking through the void to escape, once again on the run.

"Where are you going?" The young man shouted, with Yin Yang energy appearing in his hand, surprisingly similar to the power of the Yin Yang Fish Plate.

The Yin Yang Fish Plate seemed beyond the black-dressed woman’s control, instead flying backwards into the hands of the young man.

"How is this possible?" The black-dressed woman was astonished. The Yin Yang Fish Plate was no longer under her control, instead seemingly affectionate towards the Yin Yang Qi the young man displayed.

The black-dressed woman, through the Yin Yang Fish Plate, saw the young man’s face, stunned.

"How could this be?" The black-dressed woman couldn’t fathom encountering this person, unable to understand why he appeared here.𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

Black White Taoist Sage!

This young man with an ethereal, transcendent aura was one of the Unparalleled Eight Emperors, the Black White Taoist Sage, and later the founder of the Taoist Sect among the three sects.

At this moment, the Black White Taoist Sage had not yet become one of the Unparalleled Eight Emperors. He was a fledgling young man, yet with remarkable cultivation and mastery of the Yin Yang Two Energies.

The Yin Yang Fish Plate fell into his hands, and he immediately channeled Yin Yang Qi through the entire treasure, quickly discovering the spirit of the black-dressed woman hidden inside.

"Unexpectedly, a remnant spirit of an Immortal Warrior." The young man murmured, a slight smile on his face.

The black-dressed woman, terrified, looked at him and quickly said, "I am willing to offer the treasure to you, only begging for my life."

The young man smirked: "Since you and the treasure were discovered by me together, you naturally belong to me as well."

With that, the young man used a secret skill, directly erasing all the black-dressed woman’s spirit’s memories.

"From today onwards, you shall obey me."
