Infinite Awakening: My Exp Doubles Everyday

Chapter 380: Architect

Chapter 380: Architect

Xiang Yu’s enlightenment, despite having had a huge head start, had finally been caught up by his spiritual root.

They were now both four days away from entering the immortal level and Xiang Yu couldn’t wait to see the benefits. With immortal grade enlightenment, all the other enlightenment buffs, as well as his heavenly grade researcher, he didn’t believe he couldn’t make something huge.

And if he entered a state of enlightenment during the upgrade, it would be even better.

Looking at his soul flame that had just leveled up, Xiang Yu sighed.

He wasn’t exactly disappointed. Unlike before, he already had many uses for the flame.

In fact, most of his professions relied on the flame in one way or another.

Still, he preferred to use it in combat. He already had the void palm, but he felt it could be better.

Looking at the flame, he thought to himself that maybe he just needed to level it more to get the benefits. It was now among his slowest advancing stats despite being one of the most useful. He decided to work on a way to advance the void flame even faster than it was advancing at the moment.

His intents and divine abilities were coming along great. His heal ability even leveled up to level two, increasing the output and usability. Xiang Yu even gained some insights into the mechanism and felt he could optimize and refine the ability even further.

For his professions, cook was finally back to gaining a reasonable amount of exp.

That’s right, he could finally cook immortal grade food. Although it was considerably harder to handle compared to heavenly grade, with the help of the spirit vein body, he was still able to spam create it.

It still wasn’t tested though, since by the time he made it, Li Yao was already holding back so much energy she couldn’t get anymore even if she tried, so they decided to save it for later.

Xiang Yu smiled. He thought to himself that if she breaks through to the integration realm as the empress said, by then, he’d have saved up thousands of dishes. When she returns, he could feed her all of them and have her directly ascend as an immortal. Then he would be able to live life on easy mode.

As he thought of this, he paused, shivering a bit.

No, maybe that would be worse. Having Li Yao significantly stronger than him was quite dangerous, especially after she had told him her deepest secret. He needed to also level up fast. He hoped by the time she returned, he also had immortal grade root and enlightenment so they could level up together.

Looking at his appraisal profession, Xiang Yu thought to himself that although it was a little useless at the moment, he might be able to make something actually useful out of it.

That’s right, he was planning to make a pupil technique.

He didn’t have the exact details yet, but after consulting with the empress about a few things, he felt he could do it. He passed on this train of thought to the light clone as well as he looked at the remaining stats.

“Kekeke, finally,” he thought as he licked his lips.

He finally had immortal grade runesmithing and formation making. Although he also had immortal grade alchemy and blacksmithing, he didn’t care about them as much as he didn’t have any materials. But for runesmithing and formation making, this meant he could finally be safe even if an immortal came here.

Above the mortal realms, the professions got quite complicated as there were no further subdivisions.

If he mastered the immortal grade formation making, he would go directly to celestial grade. This meant that each grade worked on the entire category.

An immortal grade formation blocked all the immortal realms, which were earth immortal, heaven immortal, true immortal, golden immortal, and finally, immortal emperor. The restriction was that it needed immortal qi to function, and the amount of immortal qi poured into it decided which level of immortal it could block.

Xiang Yu didn’t think he needed to worry about this. After all, he had as much immortal qi as he could ever need through the immortal grade spirit vein.

Xiang Yu was quite satisfied with his daily progress and was just about to close the system screen when he noticed something he had almost missed:

[Architect: 9th Grade (50/100) → 8th Grade (0/200)]

“A new profession?” he wondered aloud.

He instinctually understood the new profession and how it worked. It was a profession based mostly on building structures. He had probably gained it after he had made all those structures.

Looking at it, Xiang Yu thought to himself that he didn’t see any use for it at the moment. Even so, he decided to still keep practicing it, just like with the teacher profession before. Who knows what he’ll get if he keeps refining it.

With that, he finally closed the system interface.

Before he could do anything, he decided to first run some simulations to test out his current strength.

He still chose Tian Wuji this time and started the simulation. He decided to go with the middle stage tribulation that he had already defeated before. However, this time, he just fought on pure physical power.

Before, his pure physical strength was at the peak of early stage, just a step away from middle stage.

Throughout the fight, Xiang Yu was surprised. His physical power had increased quite a bit following the double war god breakthrough and the now thirty-fifth layer of body refining after the war god body’s second breakthrough.

He could now easily suppress Tian Wuji on just his raw physical strength.

After the simulation, he estimated his physical strength to be in the early stages of late stage tribulation. Next, he chose late stage tribulation Tian Wuji for the real fight.

In the fight, he activated his war god form and used all his domains, though they made little difference against Tian Wuji’s absolute domain, making him default to just his world and gravity domains, as well as a little chaos here and there to mess with his battle instinct prediction.

After almost two hours of fighting, he was finally able to just barely secure a victory.

He steadied his breath once he returned to the real world. He thought to himself that domains were still the limit. Even in this battle, he was able to barely win not by relying on his domain but mostly by relying on his overwhelming physical strength.

Well, now he at least knew where he stood. He would run a few simulations to perfect his form and try a few more strategies.

A/N: Physical build or intelligence build, which one is Xiang Yu?
