Chapter 423: Strategy [PART 1]
His transcendent dao body, after just upgrading the day before, was already on its way to advancement. He predicted that it would advance in just two resets.
As for the stellar constellation dao body, it would take even shorter and advance in the next reset. It was already catching up to his transcendence dao body. He thought to himself that the stellar constellation dao body was really impressive – it was now undoubtedly the strongest constitution he had.
With this, he could really become invincible in just a year.
But he didn’t think he’d get the chance. He thought, looking to the side where his simulation function showed the stats of a sage. He sighed and continued inspecting his stats.
The chaos body was now level seven and he had received the law, but… looking at the required exp, he felt as though he might collapse. He also had a hard time believing that his theory on dao bodies was still right.
According to his theory, the eighth layer was about the dao, but looking at the exp required, although it was high – being seventy million – it was still nowhere near what would be needed for a dao.
This was because just the base law awakening needed ten million exp. Resonance would probably need a hundred million, integration a billion, and manifestation ten billion. Then maybe a hundred billion for transcendence.
If that was the case, then he could only assume that his theory was flawed, as seventy million didn’t even come close to what was needed for transcending a mere law, let alone beginning to understand a dao.
He decided to readjust his theory. According to the new theory, level eight would probably push him to integration, level nine to manifestation, and level ten to transcendence. After that, he would either have to glimpse the dao himself after transcending the law, or there would be more levels above level ten.
Well, this was just a theory – he would only know for sure once he got there.
His war god body had just left the entry stages and entered the mastery stages, giving him the combat domain.
The domain itself was quite flashy – it was like entering a scene from a war. Weapons rained left and right, explosions everywhere, and even blood flowed like rivers. He thought to himself that it wasn’t just flashy though. It also boosted his combat power in the battle god form even more, though he admitted this boost was just for show at his current power level.
Maybe when it became a law, then it would actually be worth something. For now though, it seemed he would have to put it to rest. For battles at his level, even the battle god form didn’t make much difference.
Still, the war god body upgraded quite fast thanks to his and his junior sister’s hard work, so it was probably going to give him the combat law soon.
His void and gravity domains were advancing nicely, Xiang Yu felt there was no need to use the absolute source to advance them as they’d probably make it on their own. Now that he thought about it, creation probably would’ve as well.
Oh well, it didn’t really matter.
Space and time had also advanced to the absolute level and wouldn’t be long before they advanced to the law stage. For the elements and the rest, they were still in the world realm but would probably advance in the next reset.
…
Xiang Yu looked at his enlightenment.
He thought to himself that even if he created the enlightenment crystal, he couldn’t actually use it to advance his enlightenment because the vague concepts he used to advance enlightenment in others were already in his mind.
For him to advance, he would need the concepts at higher levels, which he didn’t have. He had asked the empress and Li Yao, but they didn’t seem to understand. He understood Li Yao not understanding, but the empress too? Well, maybe she couldn’t because she didn’t have her body anymore.
He decided not to think about it. Besides, even without the enlightenment crystal, with the level of research he was doing, even his spiritual root with cheats might not be able to catch up to his insane enlightenment growth.
“I just remembered something,” he thought, waving his hand and creating ten new clones.
These would be the newest addition to his research group. As he thought of this, the clones disappeared, reappearing in the creation domain that was being cast by the spirit vein. Although he called it domain, it was actually an application of the creation law, but he didn’t think the name really mattered. Technically, it was still a domain by definition.
His void palm had advanced to level three. Counting the boost from the now first-grade void flame, it was even stronger now. He thought to himself that the ability was quite nice – even at half-step immortal level, it was still usable.
But in the immortal realm, it was almost completely useless without counting the physical damage from his overwhelming physical power. If he wanted to make use of it, he needed to upgrade his void domain to law or upgrade the void flame to immortal level.
The void flame reaching immortal level would be really great, as it could boost his secondary professions’ efficiency by thousands of times.
He looked at his professions and smiled. Something had finally overtaken his cooking profession. It was Truth Seeker, which had earned ten thousand exp during the day it was gained and now had twenty thousand after doubling.
Well, it made sense, he had done so much research he was sick of it.
And now he had introduced even more clones. With twenty-five clones doing research all day, he wondered how much exp he would gain. And the best part was that the more he advanced his Truth Seeker profession, the more it advanced everything else. This was practically a cheat. The rightful source is nοvelfire.net
The rest of the professions weren’t all that interesting except for Spirit Farmer profession upgrading to immortal grade and unlocking Growth Booster 9.0.
Speaking of, he wondered if it was about time he made a new path for the farmer profession. He had conducted so much research related to herbs and farming, and he felt he might have a potential path for the farmer profession.
He waved his hand and closed the system. Today, he would upgrade the farmer profession.
“But first…” He turned around and released Li Yao, who dropped to the ground.
“Senior brother, why did you stop… please punish me more,” she said, breathing heavily.
At that time, she felt a hand land on her head. She turned around slowly to meet the empress’s gaze.
“My apologies, I’ve been disrespectful,” she said.
[Hmph,] the empress said as she walked over.
Xiang Yu waved his hand, making a round table and seats instantly.
The empress had a surprised expression – it was actually the creation law.
As expected of her senior brother. She then held her head. “What am I thinking?” She then shook her head. [You said you have an ability that allows you to sense the sage’s location?]
