Chapter 574: Pampering The Wives

Rael wandered through the palace’s hallways, and of course, since he already had so much information about the Silver Palace, knowing where to go was not an issue.

But even so, Rael couldn’t shake away Lucien’s words.

The second option was exactly what he had been following up to now. The only reason he was even giving it a second thought was because of what Lucien mentioned.

Picking the second side as opposed to the first would get someone I love killed… Rael’s expression hardened as he suddenly slammed his fist into the wall, shattering it.

“Fucking bastard.”

Lucien was once again in his head, but not through thought manipulation, but something as simple as this.

Zafira was with Jane and Anubis. By no means were they weak.

Furthermore, while he didn’t specifically love Lilith, she did have a soft spot in his heart. But even then, she was protected by Vatyra.

Uriel is protected as well, so who else is there?

It’s so confusing… Rael sighed, tearing apart the wall as he walked aimlessly. Maybe the question was really just to throw me off.

Calming down, Rael brushed the dust off his hand and kept walking. He entered the cafeteria, and sadly, it was empty. There wasn’t even anyone behind the counter, and the grub that was prepared had already turned cold.

So, to further calm his mind, Rael went behind the counter and, with the ingredients he found in the fridge, as well as those he bought from the Premium Shop, he went ahead and cooked himself a full-course meal.

For the first time since he entered this place, he actually felt relaxed. Therefore, he ate his food all alone.
