Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 861: Prestige

Capítulo 861: Prestige

“Yo, Renoir,” Rael said, approaching him. Once he sat down beside Renoir, he continued:

“We’re about to prestige, so you’re going to be on your own from now on.”

“Alright.”

Rael coughed once.

“That also means you’ll have to deal with all the troubles that come after. But don’t worry, once I sort our stuff out, I’ll be sure to speedrun all the way to you.”

“Mhm. Alright.”

Yeah…

Rael felt like this would be the case. After all, this guy did not give a single shit about whatever he was saying. But oh well, if anything, Rael had some good news too.

“I did a quick check on some stuff, and I can assure you that your wife hasn’t died on the beginner floors.”

Finally, Renoir paused for a moment and narrowed his eyes at Rael.

“Is that so? How certain are you?”

“Very certain. Though, you could give me her name, and I could double-check for you.”

“Alright. Eris Altros. Check that.”

Rael did just that, and thankfully, she was not on the list, which meant she hadn’t died here. For that reason alone, Rael delivered some nice news to Renoir before finally standing up.

“Good luck with all the other stuff. On another note, make sure you don’t get yourself killed, since there’s a faction of people camping safe zones and then waiting for people to prestige. Afterwards, they wait in safe zones for them to arrive before eventually killing them,” Rael said.

Renoir just simply nodded. It seemed like he had already understood that. Truth be told, despite him appearing careless and stupid, he was actually very smart. He had managed to figure out a bunch of tactics as well as ways to upgrade his abilities. Not only that, he knew that the safe zones could be used for bad, since he did so too.

After all, there were a few pests trying to pester him on one of the beginner floors, and so he had no choice but to end their lives short.

Nonetheless, Rael gave him one last pat on the back and finally backed off, approaching Nyx, who had just been waiting by the side. It seemed like she was a little hungry, or at least, that was what Rael assumed, seeing her slight frown.

Despite that, he also knew that he and the rest of the girls could eat freely when they prestige. After all, the fifth floor was very~ empty.

So with that in mind, Rael tapped Nyx on her back and then led her to the center of the city. She didn’t say much, and while Rael didn’t ask why she was quiet, since he felt like she wouldn’t say anything, he was a little worried.

But then again, once he arrived at the center right by the statue, Rael saw a certain something on the side of the statue. It was a belt, wrapped around the goddess’s waist. It looked ordinary, and not many people paid attention to it.

However, from the memories Rael had gathered, he knew that if he were to use that belt, he could prestige. After all, the only thing he really needed to do was tap on that belt.

So of course, after giving Nyx the same details, Rael went ahead and quickly placed his hand on the belt.

In the very next instant, his vision darkened. But only a few seconds later, it returned, displaying a set of pop-ups.

Oh?

Well, Rael was a little sad that he didn’t have any other options, but then again, floor 100 was way too plain to give anything good.

But despite that, he went ahead and chose the first option.

Hehe. Finally, Rael mused with a smile. If I go to the higher floors and do this, I’ll get so many boons.

But right as Rael thought that was it, he suddenly got yet another pop-up.

Oh?

Right…

He kind of overlooked it, since Arthur’s memories didn’t really emphasize it much. But yeah, the experience multiplier existed. The only problem was that it didn’t stack.

So by that logic, if he were to reach the 100th floor again, he wouldn’t be able to get another +25% bonus to his experience. After all, he had already gotten it once.

The next bonus would be on the 150th floor. That would increase it by +25%, and in total, he would have a 1.5x experience multiplier. Of course, it increased by +25% every 50 floors, and Rael knew if he grinded enough, he could use these boons to the best of his abilities.

Anyhow…

Rael smiled and, without hesitation, finally pressed “Yes.”

In the next instant, his vision shifted, and once again, he found himself standing in the middle of a forest.

He knew all he needed to do was kill the goblin king again, but before that…

Nyx, are you still alive? Rael asked.

After a brief pause, she replied.

[Naturally. Now, while I wouldn’t normally ask this, could you add me to the group chat? I don’t really want to be fifth-wheeling you.]

Fair enough.

Then, he said:
