Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 866: Guest?

Capítulo 866: Guest?

The moment they stepped foot on the 75th floor, Rael exhaled a relieved breath. So far, they had no trouble dealing with any of the boss monsters, and at the rate this was going, Rael was sure they’d reach the 100th floor in the next hour or two.

Not to mention, Rael was dying to finally meet that bastard who escaped from the 95th boss floor. Had he been a bit more of a man, he would’ve fought Rael to the death, but instead, he got his armor broken and then pussied out.

Odds were, that same person wasn’t going to show up, since Rael felt like there was a whole chain of command up in the tower that sent people down there to do stuff.

Despite that, Rael didn’t really care much as his new One Hit Arrows, coupled with his bows which didn’t have any damage modifiers, only speed enhancement and homing… He was perhaps the biggest menace to enter the High Tower.

“Heh…”

“What’s so funny?” Zafira chimed in, grabbing his hand.

At the same time, Lilith appeared too, grabbing his other hand and then glaring at Zafira.

“We’re stealing Rael now? Is that what we’re doing?”

“In the ground rules, we only said we can’t hold his hands when we’re alone. We didn’t say anything when there were a bunch of people,” Zafira corrected her confidently.

Hearing that, Rael grumbled. “You guys have way too many ground rules. Why not just do whatever you want?”

“If I could do whatever I wanted, then I would’ve pulled you away and had my fun with you,” Lilith said with a chuckle.

Zafira rolled her eyes and subtly nodded, almost like she was agreeing with what Lilith was saying.

Anyhow…

“F-Fine… Keep the ground rules. Now, as for the others, we need to head over to a certain smithy. There’s a woman I met here who can craft swords very well, and she’s also a vampire, which obviously is cool, right?”

“Vampires are very cool,” Lilith agreed with him.

Zafira didn’t have the same reaction, though.

“A woman?”

“You’re much too pretty to be self-conscious about another woman, even if it’s Rael who’s attracting that woman,” Gaia chimed in with a chuckle.

Zafira rolled her eyes when all of a sudden, Rael halted and glanced ahead. As it so happened, Reyna was doing a grocery trip at the moment. He wasn’t really sure why, since he got her some nice stuff, but then again, maybe the vampire wanted to test out some other food too?

They soon locked eyes, and when Reyna spotted just how many women surrounded Rael, she raised a brow and approached him.

“Is this your personal harem or something?”

“You could say that,” Rael replied plainly.

“Ahem, we’re not his harem,” Nyx corrected and pointed at Zafira and Lilith. “Those two are.” Then, she pointed at herself and Gaia. “As for us, we’re still in the consideration phase, I think?”

“So as I said, a harem,” Reyna said, facepalming. “Well… I wish I’d met you at a better time, but as it so happens, one of my friends from the upper floors finally prestiged and paid me a visit. I’m doing a grocery trip and buying some more food to prepare something nice for her.”

She paused for a moment. “Speaking of, why are you back already? Were you too afraid to continue going up like I was?”

Rael rolled his eyes. “Nope. I just wanted to pick up my wives. On that note, can you check this out?”

He reached into his inventory and pulled out the broken zweihander. When she saw it, her eyes widened in shock.

“You broke an unbreakable blade?”

“I didn’t break anything. One of the bosses broke it. On that note, can you repair it?” Rael asked.

She rubbed her temples in frustration. “I can repair it, but I won’t repair it. I can only add the unbreakable enchant to new weapons I create. Repairing something that’s broken is just going to give you a shittier version of what I made for you.”

Reyna let out a sigh.

“Hell… I’ll just smelt everything down and make a new one. Come with me. The rest of your harem can come along as well.”

With those words, she led them to her smithy. Along the way, she got more food and groceries, storing most of it inside her inventory. Eventually, she finished her food trip, and as for Rael and the others, since they were bored, they didn’t mind tagging along silently.

And so, when they finally arrived at her smithy, Zafira and Lilith sat down right away. As for Nyx, she just leaned against the wall to rest, and lastly, Gaia just stood beside Rael without saying a word.

Then there was Reyna, who approached the back door and suddenly turned around.

“My friend’s probably going to come through soon, so when she does, just tell her to lead you up to the kitchen. I got some hotpockets in the fridge, so you can eat something in case you’re hungry.”

Rael nodded at her, and with that, she finally entered her back room and likely began making a new zweihander for him.

“Who do you think her friend is?” Gaia asked out of nowhere.

Rael raised a brow. “I don’t know…? I mean, it doesn’t really matter. It’s just probably someone who went a little higher and then prestiged. I don’t really care, so long as I get free food.”

“Is that so…? Well, I guess I’ll just put my wariness aside for now,” Gaia replied.

Yet not even a few minutes later, someone knocked on the smithy’s door. Normally, they’d just open it, since it was just a public shop of sorts.

But this person didn’t.

So after Rael exchanged a glance with the others, he approached the door and opened it.

He was met with a plain-looking crimson-haired woman. Yet even though she was plain, her eyes shone with an ominous blue light, causing a slight chill to run down Rael’s spine.

“Hi there. Is Reyna home?”
