Capítulo 872: Determination

Rael eventually opened his eyes, and seeing how he was already back in the safe zone, it was clear that a bit of time had passed.

Not to mention, he wasn’t in the very center of the city, but instead in the outskirts, surrounded by a couple of beautiful women.

Of course, this was any man’s dream, but then again, Rael’s courtship needed to halt for the time being as he needed to focus on something more important.

“We gotta break the statue,” Rael said plainly.

Nyx raised a brow. “A thank you would’ve worked wonders. What are you talking about, anyway?”

“Breaking the statue in a safe zone allows you to go up to the next safe zone without even needing to go through the boss floor. So long as your intent is to break it, you’ll become invisible to the others, and while no one will see you, you’ll be able to break it and go to the next safe zone, as I said.”

That was how simple it was. Not to mention, that’s how the majority of those at the top did it. It was such a weird method, but so long as it worked, Rael was willing to abuse it.

After all, seeing how prestiging on the 400th floor gave someone +50% to their Law Mastery… Kind of gave Rael a nice little reality check of just how much stronger he could get if his Law of Infinity was mastered.

On another note, he could just kill the 400th floor’s boss and then prestige. This method was hundreds of times faster than the one they had done before, and it was also that much safer.

In the end, Rael had made up his mind, and after relaying the same information to the others, he was immediately met with slightly skeptical gazes.

“And what if one of those Light Faction bastards is waiting for us on one of those floors? Rather, what happens if they find out what we did? Won’t they hunt us down like they did with Arthur?” Nyx questioned.

Rael shrugged. “That’s probably what’ll happen, which is why we need to make sure we’re aware of our surroundings. If you feel like you’re being watched, send a message in the group chat. Afterwards, we’ll all deal with the problem together.”

At those words, Gaia chimed in:

“If the top brass can bypass the safe zone mana restrictions, what’s to say their goons can’t also?”

Rael nodded. “Good point. Basically, if you sense something’s off, just prestige and stick around on floor 1 for a bit until the rest of us can help you.”

It was as good of an idea as he could come up with so quickly, and of course, with them being able to spam the shit out of this idea, Rael already knew what he wanted to do.

“Okay… Let’s talk prestiges now. How far do you think you guys could climb?”

Zafira and Lilith were the first to chime in.

“350th floor.”

“355th floor.”

“…”

“360th floor.”

Ah.

“365th floor.”

Yeah, Rael kind of saw this coming.

“How about you both climb to the 375th floor and kill the floor boss there? It’s actually on the weaker end, since all that boss has is speed. So long as you can attack in a large area, you’ll be able to kill him,” Rael suggested as a wide smile appeared on his face.

“Afterwards, you can prestige.”

Zafira and Lilith glanced at each other, then nodded at him.

“Okay.”

“That’s doable. Though, don’t you want to wait until tonight?”

Rael grumbled slightly. “At this rate, we might be able to get out of the tower by tonight, so don’t be impatient, okay?”

The two women exchanged a quick glance, and although a bit unsure, they went ahead and just believed in him.

Now as for the others…

“I’d say the 500th floor, but after hearing what happens up there, I’ll just stick to the 490th floor,” Nyx said.

Gaia nodded. “Me too. What’s the boss for that floor again?”

“Hmm… Ten-headed dragon, I think?” Rael glanced back into his mind, and then confirmed, “Yep. Twenty-headed dragon.”

“Twenty heads…” Nyx and Gaia mumbled in unison.

Rael chuckled at that sight, and now, it was his turn to say which floors he’ll be clearing. Except, after getting Lindros’s memories, Rael felt like he could do something very risky.

But the risk that he would take would equal an immeasurably high payoff.

And the risk was simple.

“I’m going to head up to the 500th floor and then prestige from there.”

Everyone’s eyes widened.

“What if they make it so you can’t leave the tower ever again? Don’t you think they have enough power to make that happen?”

“Yep. Which is why I won’t do it right away. Instead, I’ll do what Nyx and Gaia are doing. When I have maxed out my Law of Infinity and gotten to a decently high level, only then will I try entering that floor.”

Without letting any of them reply, Rael quickly added:

“How many beings do you think there are who have made it to the 500th floor and died? The amount of information I could get… It’s a very, very risky but valid strategy. It’s just that I’ll need to isolate myself for a few thousand, or maybe even a few million years so I can get enough money to even buy their identities.”

Still…

“That’s what I’ve decided, and I believe this way, we’ll be able to leave within the next eight hours, but not before causing some serious shit and havoc up in the higher floors. For all we know, we might even be able to destroy the whole tower. How funny would that be?” Rael said, and with one final chuckle, he glanced at the four women.

He cared about each one deeply, which was why he was so determined to make sure they’d be able to climb further.

So with that in mind…

“Let’s have one last meal together and start climbing, shall we?”
