Raw End Announcement – One Piece: So What If I Sin, Lie, and Lust? I'm Still a Good Marine

Hey everyone, how's it going? Sad news today. We've reached the end of all available raws, at chapter 979. The fic is One Piece: So What If I Sin, Lie, and Lust? I'm Still a Good Marine. I was still holding onto some hope, but unfortunately the author really hasn't come back to posting. This is the last chapter he wrote.

I didn't know that at the start, but I found out around the middle of the fic, somewhere around chapter 400, and I let everyone know back then too. Still, I thought it was worth continuing because the story is phenomenal, and even though it's a dropped fic, I definitely don't regret translating and reading it. It was simply the best One Piece fanfic I've ever read.

Back when I shared the news that there were no more raw updates, a user asked if I would "create" an ending for the novel. I wish I had that kind of writing skill, but I don't have experience with this type of writing, and honestly I don't think I'd do a good job. But since this fic became a classic, if any fan wants to write a "fan ending" for it, just contact me on Patreon — if someone writes one, I'll gladly share and announce it, no problem. The author hasn't updated in almost a year now, and he mentioned a few times that he's dealing with family health issues, and that writing is an unstable job. Little by little he decreased the chapters until he stopped altogether.

From the bottom of my heart, I wish him the best and I'm grateful for the story he created. I hope life treats him well. I'll check his posting platform now and then over the next few months to see if he comes back, though I think it's unlikely.
