As the counting ended at zero, the whole ground beneath them began to tremble.

"Don't move a single inch…" Dustin warned, "They are coming!" He yelled and took a stance to defend.

Dustin crouched down and waited for the enemy to show up. Once they were in his radius, he would activate the trap and lessen the numbers of the enemy.

Then the tremor shifted; the soft, empty space in front began to crack, and white, bony skeletons began to emerge from under the ground.

"Hana, it's you first. Attack those who somehow failed to be captured in my trap." Dustin instructed, "Alex, if Hana missed any single of them, then it's your work to eliminate the threat."

"Remember what I told you! These skeletons are very fragile so don't just waste your energy in overdoing it. As for others, just wait for the end of the first wave."

One after another, the weak skeletons were caught in the trap and ended up dying, but as the time passed, some of them began to evade the trap and moved forward.

Hana used her skill, 'Elemental Beast.' Then an orb manifested on her hand. Posing as a pitcher, she throws the Orb-like beast towards the skeletons, eliminating them in a very large number.

"We might not even have to raise our finger before she will kill all of them in one full sweep," Aaliyah exclaimed.

"Leave few of them for me!" Alex yelled in frustration. Hana didn't even let a single skeleton reach them before they all got eliminated.

[First Wave ended]

[Second Wave starts in 2 hr : 58 min]

"Phew, we survived without even lifting a finger," Aaliyah hugs Fiona. Though she wanted to hug Dustin, she knew that Fiona will not take it lightly.

Dustin, whose mana was almost at the edge of emptying, took out a finger-sized vial and gulped it in one go. His Mana then restored back to 50%.

"The next wave will be double than before, we don't have time to waste. The next wave will be on a whole different level." Dustin spoke as he again began making preparations before attacking.

Meanwhile Ray from behind ignores all of it and focused on something which was bugging him since the start of the first wave.

As soon as the first skeleton died, Ray was bombarded by the notification that had popped up, which just ended, and now he decided to look at it. Though he was sure, it couldn't be something great, other than collecting the trash.

When he saw the bone-collecting message, he cried inwardly and thought, "I knew it! What could it be other than collecting all the garbage after the fight?" He made a weary face.

'This is a good way to mock me…' but then the next notification made his eyes pop out of their socket.

Ray squinted his eyes and again looked at it. 'This can't be real, right?'

He wanted to ask others but 'No', he dropped that idea.

Ray decided to see things himself and find out if these passive skills are really worth anything.

"Hey Ray! What are you doing? Are you really going to collect all those garbage?" Alex asked when he saw Ray moving towards the pile of bones and withered leather.

Veins were bulging in his head but Ray forced a smile, "Yes, you do your work and let me do mine." Though there was a smile in his face, his tone was more like a threatening one.

He felt Alex was deliberately trying to provoke him to look good in Dustin's eyes.

"Pathetic!" Dustin's voice was low, but loud enough that the whole group could hear, but Ray chose to ignore him.

He had seen worse than this, and if things somehow ended up in a bad situation, he could just punch him and Alex.

'Collect!'

Ray began using his skill and soon, the whole area was cleaned of bones of the skeleton. Even the leather armor was ended up clean and the place became as it was before.

Rohan who had seen things closely, couldn't help but speak, "You have cleaned it like a pro."

He wasn't mocking but was in fact praising Ray's skill but it somehow ended up like a sting in Ray's heart who smiled wryly.

"Oohhh! I didn't think you would be this useful." Dustin chuckled; he then pulled Fiona's hands and spoke.

"Baby, now it's your turn. Use your skill on the area around my trap so we can at least kill a big chunk of monsters." His hands on her curves, definitely trying to provoke Ray.

However, to his surprise, Ray was back to his place, busy with experimenting his skill.

'How dare he ignore me!' Dustin cursed inwardly but chose to focus on setting new traps with Fiona and others.

'Restore and modification? What can I restore from these bones? A skeleton!' Ray's imagination ran wild, he began seeing himself as Michael Norman from a certain necromancer novel.

Modification:

1- Magic ashes: Low level item to strengthen magic spell like traps and magic arrays.

2- Skeleton sword: Low level sword made up from bones (Durability: Low).

'Here goes my dream of becoming the necromancer! Maybe I just should stop overthinking, it's not good for my health.' Ray thought, then focused on the modification option.

'It's not like it's an option? I can choose both if I have enough bones.', then looked at another item, hoping, here he can get something useful this time.

Leather armor: The low durability armor (Lvl 2). 2- Leather sheets: Mediocre quality sheets, It can be used for various manufacturing items.

Ray's eyes travelled from top to bottom, then bottom to top. He read each and every detail without missing a single word, then couldn't help but smile.

'Maybe, this is my chance and I feel like, even God won't be helping me if I'm not ready to help myself but what should I choose? I'm getting a feeling that, I shouldn't waste the items or I might regret later.'

'Wait! I'm defenceless right now so, what I need most is an armor and a weapon.' Then making his mind, Ray chose to make a sword made up from the bones and an armor which itself ended up on his body.

"Oye Ray! Where did you find that weak-ass sword, and what's with that armor? Isn't that what those skeletons were wearing?" Alex questioned, upon seeing Ray in a new avatar.
