Zephyr — Looked! Observed! And Examined Leon in a completely new light now!

He was completely unlike his previous self.

On feeling his aura alone she could tell that his base prowess was now 5 Levels higher instead of his initial 4.

She supposed whatever that bluish-silver potion was! It had indeed given him a level of base prowess but only for a limited time.

Then again thing like these very rarely came without any side-effects of there own. It was not that hard for her to imagine that once the effects of the potion were over!

Leon's transformation core or perhaps even his soul would face some serious long lasting damage.

It would be good as long as Leon's core doesn't crack and regresses by a rank from his current rank two core!

A Normal Transformation Core.

Furthermore Leon's base prowess wasn't the only thing that the potion boosted! It had also boosted the destructiveness of his flames!

In other words his battle prowess had also been increased by a level. Meaning if she were to add all of this.

Than Leon's battle prowess comes to a total of 8 Levels. 5 from his base prowess! 1 from his Katana! 1 from his flames! And 1 from his ability.

This was the conclusion Zephyr arrived at!

A conclusion that came without knowing both; The level of comprehension Leon had of his Elementary Law of Fire and the full extent of his sword-type ability.

Than again both of these things were something that she could've easily gotten answers to through Black! But she never asked or more like she couldn't be bothered to ask.

"Bitch! You'll regret- No! I'll make you regret for forcing me to use this thing on me." Leon voiced in a hoarse tone.

Zephyr blinked coming out of her musing.

'Had the potion made him even dumber then before. Like for real. Do I look like I cared! If he used the potion or not. The delusion to think that I forced him to drink it.'

Zephyr looked at Leon as though looking at a pitiful existence! And that just ticked him off even more!

The potion had indeed made him quiet aggressive by nature like reflecting the essence of fire itself making him prone to loosing himself to anger quiet easily.

Leon raised his burning katana upward with the tip of the blade pointing towards the bright Elytherian Skies!

His mouth opened! His gaze sharp and burning like his sword! His voice cold —

[ Flaming Distrustion | Third Sword — Double Intersection ]

His hands slashed! His burning sword cut through the air at an unimaginable speed! And with four simple motion!

Leon unleashed a plus-shaped ark and a cross-shaped ark of his deep-red flames one after another all in a span of a millisecond.

*Swish!~* *Swish!~* *Woosh!~*

The two ark of flames slid through the air and soon collided. Fusing in the process! In the middle of the air all the while advancing towards Zephyr!

Carrying a destructive force equivalent to Ascension Level 82. However the speed of the attack was still dictated by the actual base prowess of an individual.

Therefore Zephyr again dodged the attack. But Leon didn't stop as this time he could indeed make out Zephyr's movements albeit bairly.

*Swish!~* *Swish!~* *Swish!~*

This time Leon launched a plus-shaped ark! Then a cross-shaped ark! Then a fusion of both towards Zephyr! They moved with a speed greater then all his previous attacks.

Despite that Zephyr still dodged quiet easily! And not only her even the spectating public had to quickly get out of the way to not get caught in the crossfire.

Since even one of these attacks launched by Leon was perfectly capable of ending them once and for all.

Then there was also not a single rank eight existence in this whole city square to protect them by creating a protective barrier around the empty space.

Meanwhile Leon on seeing that his long range attack were useless against Zephyr immediately dashed towards her!

Adopting a new strategy of close combat.

His steps leaving the ground cracked and burning in his wake. He reached her in a second yet Zephyr saw everything.

Leon Katana hacked from the right but she dodged! Than it slashed from the left! Then below! Above! Horizontal! Vertical! Diagonal!

Regardless Zephyr dodged everytime. However with time she realized that she couldn't stay on defensive forever! It wasn't a game!

His attacks were already strong enough to wound her and with time his speed was also increasing indicating at the uniqueness of the potion consumed!

Than again even if the wounds inflicted wouldn't be serious!

Zephyr still couldn't accept it! Considering as a Primordial getting injured by a mortal would be a humiliation that she didn't want to suffer!

It didn't matter that the wounds were only caused by her own nonchalant attitude. An injury suffered was still an injury nonetheless. The cause didn't matter.

And this Elf didn't seem to be getting tired either! Despite not being able to land a single hit! He still continued his relentless assault!

Leon's gaze was cold! His Katana was burning! His hands were clad in flames! His hair flaired as Leon hacked and slashed.

Honestly Zephyr was impressed by this Elf!

But she knew that things were about to come to an end!

Because within just these 5 minutes Leon had already used up almost eighty percent of his magical energy reserves!

Another minute or two and he would completely loose his consciousness because of magical energy deficiency!

However there was surely no need for Zephyr to wait for that long since in his aggressive charge this Flame Elf had already shown her whatever he had in his arsenal.

And now Zephyr was bored and didn't want to waste anymore of her time on this Flame Elf.

'I'm done! No more playing around. Let's get this done and over with!~ '

She dodged the cross-shaped ark to the left! The next second she abruptly shot forward! Her transformation core thumped!

And just as suddenly she came to a sudden stop before Leon! His eyes widened and he tried to launch a counterattack but it was already too late.

Zephyr's right index finger covered in her dark-scarlett-golden magical energy touched his forehead! Penetrating directly into his soul sea.

*Tap!~*

Zephyr used her ability [ Soul Poison ] and had Leon soul immediately currepted and paralyzed and just like that with a single tap of her delicate finger.

*Spurt!~* *Thud!~*

Leon fell on his knees with blood coming out of his seven orifices!

His eyes remained wide as he stared at Zephyr! His mouth opened but what came out of it wasn't sound rather it was blood! His blood.

*Guggeehhii!~*

Leon was neither able to move nor able to compherend what just happened. But the shudder in his soul told him everything.

'Poison. A S-Soul Poison.' He couldn't even tremble despite the despair he felt.

'What have I done. No! No! No! I.. I.. I.. cannot die like this. This bitch was a poison user! No she is a monster! How can she have command over soul poison.'

Meanwhile the public was just baffled! The battle that seemed like it would go on for hours ended just like that with such an anticlimactic end.

No one could understand what just happened! Was Leon really so weak?

Enough that Zephyr's single finger was enough to take him down or was it that she was just that terrifyingly stronger than him.

If yes- Than. Everyone shuddered. Now looking at her not with lust and desire but with fear and terror of the unknown.

A question echoing in every single one of there minds — who was she?
