Despite its bulk, the bear swam incredibly fast, slapping one massive paw onto the lakeshore as it charged. Muddy sludge sprayed everywhere from its massive paws as it ran.

"Gulp." Li Mengnan swallowed hard. Even if the bear was charging at a different tree, its oncoming force was like a runaway truck; it would make anyone quake in their boots.

"Wind Witch!" Li Mengnan barely breathed the words, but the contract sent the message loud and clear.

A Wind-Fire Pillar shot out instantly.

Little You Ying had been trained well—she didn't just attack full force all the time. As Du Yu descended, the pillar's thrust softened, letting him land firmly from his fall.

"Defend!" He let go of the Ghost Firefly Torch, drew another arrow and spun around. On the bow, the Demon Arrow Array began to glow faintly.

The Ghost Firefly Torch hovered horizontally, pointing straight ahead as another Wind-Fire Pillar blasted toward the Moonlit Bear.

Here, Du Yu activated the Demon Arrow Array, while over at the frontline, Li Mengnan's longsword flashed coldly, her Demon Sword Array glowing at the hilt as well!

"Wind Witch—tornado!" With no fear, Li Mengnan charged forward with heroic stride. The Moonlit Bear was after Du Yu; she was storming toward the bear!

The Moonlit Bear was blown off balance, sprawling to the ground. The burning silver arrow still stuck in its left eye—who knew what its brains looked like inside.

"Whoosh!" Du Yu released—the arrow shot at the beast's eye.

"Tss!" Li Mengnan launched herself, sword straight for the beast's skull!

"Hai hai hai!"
