The weather in California is simply deadly!

Especially in Southern California, even though it's near the ocean, the overall climate in California is extremely dry.

To the west is the ocean, but to the east, there are many deserts.

Such a climate is certainly not easy for newcomers to adapt to.

Chen Ming is just like that.

Some newcomers arrived at this planting 'factory'.

Chen Ming glanced over and saw that they were mainly Old Mos.

He had actually heard some rumors.

Saying that the number of Old Mos in their factory was relatively low now.

It seemed they treated it as a meeting point, which was quite good.

Yes, it was the gathering place for a few of them.

The few people were Zhou Mo Sen, Oden, and Owen.

"You mean they set up a D-meth plantation?"

"Yes, and they set up quite a few."

"So then..."

"Don't look at me, I haven't found much."

After Owen narrated the information he had gathered, Zhou Mo Sen turned to Oden.

This slick lawyer continuously waved his hand.

This time, the three of them met to discuss some significant matters.

Ever since they had a fierce fight with Carlos and Paddy's side.

Their side achieved a great victory.

But, it left something to be desired.

After all, they hadn't completely destroyed the opposition.

Paddy ended up in jail, and this case was wrapped up pretty quickly.

The United States can be really inefficient in many ways.

But at least, Paddy was no longer a concern.

The remaining adversary was Dean Carlos.

The guy actually became the dean of the San Diego Center Hospital, with drug lords from Mexico backing him.

So, Carlos was a tough opponent.

It's confirmed, you could say it's 'halftime'.

Most likely, another big fight is looming.

Just not sure when it would erupt.

Thus, preparations were necessary.

As they say, know your enemy and yourself, and you'll win every battle.

Zhou Mo Sen sent people to investigate Carlos and those supporting him.

It's confirmed not all Latin American drug lords supported Carlos.

But, there seemed to be more than one force.

Currently known is the 'Queen of the Pacific', Sandra.

And this woman was quite troublesome.

Because she liked to cling to powerful people and was good at winning people over.

Winning over like-minded people.

So, it's hard to know exactly how many forces or which force is behind Carlos.

But fortunately, they discovered Carlos's current 'main business'.

Engaging in 'agricultural' plantations.

This really... Zhou turned to Oden, hoping for legal backing.

Oden understood this, but he just scratched his head.

"Carlos is now the dean, and I'm sure those plantations would have legal paperwork, under the guise of medical research.

Attorney Oden explained the part about legality.

This idea gained agreement from Oden and Owen.

Carlos indeed could acquire a lot of 'papers', but how could human greed be satisfied?

But just for this, should they launch an offensive?

"We need more information."

Zhou Mo Sen, in a sentence, summed it up.

It's not the right time yet.

The focus should be on the investigation.

However, Owen suggested, "Why not let Hank stage a raid."

Let the DEA captain in on the secret?

Zhou Mo Sen shook his head.

In fact, Dr. Zhou understood deep down.

The only advantage he had was knowing Captain Hank.

That was his 'above-board' leverage.

Meaning, he had the advantage of being on the right side of the law.

Just like how he had been in Los Angeles lately.

And yet, the South Americans weren't stupid, and nobody attacked.
