" But the amount of power one can absorb, is limited, By helping them break through to level 2 as well, what do you think he's doing?"

" He's using his own limited power on them." Yu Wang hissed, his expression in disbelief. He couldn't understand why the master would do such a thing, if he couldn't absorb enough power from the abyss, didn't that mean his level up will fail?!

" It looks like you finally understand. If the master ends up not being able to absorb enough power and ultimately fails to Lvl up, he'll have to try again later, but with each failure, the chances of leveling up again will drastically reduce, making it that much harder to Lvl up next time."

" To think that such a compassionate demon actually existed, willing to risk their own chance to ascend the hierarchy for other's." The Lvl 2 demon chuckled while shaking it's head lightly.

A melancholic look emerged on the Lvl 2 elite Dark demonic wolfs face, a faint memory of a dark demonic wolf watching over a happily feasting pack flashed through its mind for a brief moment, a sad smile creeping onto it's lips.

Yu Wang's thoughts of getting on the three fox demoness's good side was further increased, to think that the master was willing to go this far for them. If so, he desperately needed to form a strong relationship with them as soon as possible.

The dark demonic wolf duo watched on for hours, needed taking their eyes off the swirling spherical mass of darkness, nor the 3 faint figures enshrouded by darkness.

Both of them simultaneously sensed the unmistakable aura of Lvl 2's from the three cracked spheres of darkness.

Slowly but surely, the cracked spheres of darkness broke apart, each broken shard, dissipated into the atmosphere one by one until they fully revealed Ning An, Yang Lan and Ming Yao. Only besides being level 2 units now, they had directly broken through to Lvl 2 elite units. Not only that, the three of them looked like humanoids, similar to fox furries.

Their red markings were gone, Ming Yao was now white with dark markings, Ning An was black with dark purple markings and Yang Lan's yellow fur had turned Dark gold with black markings. Moreover, the three of them, each had, 2 fox tails.

" We actually did it!" Ning An stared at her body in shock.

" We level up to Lvl 2!" Yang Lan leaped into the air in joy, her simple leap sending her nearly tens of meters into the air.

" Master!" Ming Yao's desperate shout pulled the both of them out of their daydreaming.

" Brother, what's happening to the master?!" Yu Wang said hurriedly, everyone saw as Su Ping's swirling sphere of darkness was waning, like a flickering lightbulb.

" It's the after effects... I knew he must have used to much power to elevate all three of them to Lvl 2." Said the Lvl 2 demon with a grim expression.

" Isn't there something we can do! If the master fails" Ming Yao's voice staggered, a deep guilt threatened to overwhelm her, it was because he decided to help them that this was happening. If only the three of them weren't this weak then non of this would've happened.
