Chapter 123: Drones - 124 Terrible Marksmanship (Part 3)

"Damn..." this person couldn't help but curse, "What the hell... full spectrum electromagnetic interference?"

The technology of electromagnetic interference, while technically challenging, isn't overwhelmingly difficult for a professional Maintenance Master.

However, achieving full spectrum electromagnetic interference is more than just a technical challenge.

Firstly, the hardware requirements are exceptionally high.

Secondly, the energy demand is enormous—the more hardware, the greater the consumption.

The people at Celestial Craftsmanship had speculated that given Jian Lei's level of mechanical maintenance, he might indeed possess the ability to implement electromagnetic interference.

So initially, they didn't consider using drones—the cost was just too high.

But trying other methods to probe didn't achieve their goals, leaving drones as the last option.

Yet, Celestial Craftsmanship specializes in maintenance and does so quite professionally, thus adjusting the frequency bands of drones wasn't a challenge.

So these three drones actually operated on three different frequency bands, differing encryption methods, and even different control mechanisms.

Now with all three drones wiped out, it signaled— the opponent likely used full spectrum electromagnetic interference.

However, this was truly baffling.

Even if you have this capability, do you have the necessary hardware? And... do you have such a large energy source?

For a moment, everyone was silent, watching the fuming leader.

The leader was actually just a C-level Maintenance Master, but was adept in handling emergencies, thus leading this operation.

But now, things had clearly spiraled out of control, not mentioning other losses, just losing the three drones alone was a huge blow.

The person was stunned for quite a while before speaking through gritted teeth, "Go capture La Wuping immediately, there's something off about this yard!"

La Wuping was simply the landlord, yet it was evident this yard was not as harmless as everyone thought.

"I have a question," someone spoke up, "Could Jian Lei have another method of full-spectrum interference?"

The speaker was also a C-level Maintenance Master, one of the only two C-level technicians on this mission.

The leader snorted coldly, "You're overthinking it, in today's Houjing, no one can handle..."

Just then, someone exclaimed, "The handheld radio is broken!"

"Mine's broken too... damn, is anyone's still working?"

"Alright, everyone calm down," the team leader took a deep breath, "Full-spectrum interference... this is quite normal!"

"The handheld radios are breaking, and you call this normal?" someone expressed discontent.

The one speaking out was the leader of an elite team, whose connection with Celestial Craftsmanship was indeed good, but fundamentally based on interests.

"Old Wine, what do you mean?" the team leader frowned, "Do you not want to cooperate in the future?"

The prominent oppresses the small, and the small oppresses right back, they knew the opposing team was elite, but so what?

Celestial Craftsmanship genuinely didn't want to build their own team, otherwise... being able to take military contracts, can their strength really be up for debate?

They just hoped to specialize in their expertise without putting in too much effort.

Old Wine, upon hearing this, his nose turned red with anger, wanting to lash out—threaten me with cooperation, have you not seen what's called a desperado?

But at that moment, someone exclaimed, "The drones... the drones!"

The three drones had already crashed to the ground, theoretically with very little chance of repair.

Now, the spotlight from the small yard already shone onto one of the wrecked drones.

The next moment, a white beam flashed as someone in the small yard pulled the trigger of a Laser Gun.

"They actually dared to fire first!" the team leader's scalp tightened, "If I can't lock you away..."

"That's their own land!" Old Wine couldn't help but retort, "The drones are the ones illegally invading!"

Upon hearing this, the team leader fell silent but was inwardly furious: Who are you really siding with?

But the next moment, he let out a light laugh, "Are you kidding... aiming like this?"

The drone wasn't big, about the size of a human head, and had fallen no more than a hundred meters from the yard.

They were using a Laser Gun, making aiming quite convenient, at this distance, even with slight errors, it shouldn't be much.

Yet, the opponent's shot missed by about thirty centimeters; even an average person with a bit of training couldn't do worse than this, right?

Old Wine couldn't bother getting angry, his attention had been drawn over; seeing this, his brow furrowed.

"This marksmanship, is that what you call a Modified Warrior? Ha, fooled, right?"

The team leader, upon hearing this, got angry, "Does a Modified Warrior's marksmanship necessarily have to be good?"

Old Wine was stunned, his mouth twitching twice before finally sighing, "Alright, since you're the leader, we'll all listen to you."

More white beams shot out from the yard, finally on the seventh shot, the beam directly hit the drone.

The drone immediately fell apart, unrecoverable by any means.

Then, the spotlight swept over to another drone, and the person began clumsily aiming and shooting again.

"This is ridiculous..." the team leader ground his teeth with frustration, "Can anyone take out the spotlight?"

"They're shooting targets in their own field," Old Wine snorted coldly, "Taking out their spotlight, our people won't agree!"

"So should we just let him use our drones for target practice?" the team leader finally objected.

"You can stop them!" Old Wine casually stated, "We won't stick around to help."

"Who remembers the crash site of the third drone?" the team leader inquired through gritted teeth.

Someone was startled, "Are you going to retrieve that drone?"

"What else?" the team leader's teeth ground in frustration, "Let them keep destroying it?"

Before others could respond, a burst of "tat tat tat" sound echoed.
