Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 1121: 1118: End of the Tribulation

Due to the link between him and Primus, Corey also felt a fraction of the pain Primus was going through.

The pain was not enough to cause him to scream or grunt despite the fact that it was his spirit, soul, and Willow that felt like it had been cut apart.

However, Corey knew that what he was feeling was a fraction of the pain, not the true thing.

Primus was the one feeling the true pain, and his screams in his mind was actually causing him more pain than the actual pain itself.

The Golden Tribulation Sword had not just pierced through Primus' physical body, it had stabbed Primus' spirit himself.

The most important of Primus.

In the eyes of everybody, they saw a collosal golden sword made out of lightning piercing through the glass rod and slicing it in two.

The colossal golden sword kept on digging deeper and deeper, and in less than ten seconds, it pierced half of the glass rod.

Was this the end of Primus?

Was this weapon which was surely one of the greatest weapons to ever exist in the universe going to get destroyed?

The pain the gods felt when they saw how Primus was being split in two was immense. They wanted to help, but they couldn't at all.

If they interfered, the Golden Tribulation Sword would not be aimed at Primus but at them. And with greater fury nonetheless.

The Stars of Consciousness and Corey's main consciousness depleted his mental energy at an extremely rapid rate because Corey was thinking of what he could to help.

He couldn't attack the Tribulation. It would kill him with a mere touch, and the only thing he could to help Primus was to keep on pouring his mana into him to help him regenerate quickly, but that was not enough.

The rate at which he was being destroyed was much faster than the rate at which he was healing himself.

"Primus! Become smaller!" Corey shouted with an anxious expression, but Primus trembled and refused his words.

When Corey sensed Primus' intent and worry, he could not help but become more frustrated.

"Don't worry about me, damn it! I'll find a way to survive! Became smaller! Avoid the Tribulation and save yourself! You must not die!"

Primus stubbornly refused, and Corey cursed out loud.

"Damn it!"

He was about to forcefully make Primus smaller, but then he stopped.

Primus sent his intentions to him, and Corey paused with wide eyes. Before he could respond to what Primus had just told him, Primus acted.

His unfathomably large body vanished. Primus was no longer a massive glass rod, he was now an extremely long glass rope.

Bang!

Corey looked down, and he saw that Primus had pierced the ground of the Divine Kingdom. Although Primus was a rope, the tip was that of a spearhead.

RUMBLE!

CLAP!

Corey looked up when he heard the furious rumble and thunderclap of the Tribulation, and what he saw caused his eyes to widen slightly.

The Golden Tribulation Sword was still present, but it was no longer the same.

Around it was a glass rope which tied and held it in the sky, preventing it from moving. The Golden Tribulation Sword violently trembled and released thick arcs of golden lightning that attacked Primus.

Primus' scream resounded in Corey's ears, but he did not let go of the Golden Tribulation Sword regardless of the pain he was going through.

A second later, Corey saw spikes shoot out of Primus and pierce into the Golden Tribulation Sword.

The skies rumbled and thundered in fury.

Three seconds later, the Golden Tribulation Sword began to shrink, and golden arcs of electricity could be seen travelling across Primus' body as Primus devoured the Golden Tribulation Sword!

Corey, the gods, and everybody watched with stunned expressions as the colossal Golden Tribulation Sword struggled to rid itself of the glass rope that bound it.

However, with each struggle, the Golden Tribulation Sword shrank and the glass rope got stronger.

Exactly seven minutes later, what was left of the Tribulation was nothing more than the size of a toothpick, and a second later, the last trace of the golden lightning was no more.

The Tribulation Clouds slowly dissipated, and the world was at complete peace and silence.

Every living creature, and even the world itself stared at Primus who was in the form of a long rope that seemed to reach the Heavens and had no end.

As Primus' danced in the air in his rope form, the people were mesmerized, and for a moment, they all thought they were looking at a snake in the skies.

Meanwhile, Corey had a completely different expression. His expression was filled with a mixture of joy, relief, and so many other emotions.

He stretched out his hand, and Primus flew toward him from the skies. His intent was one of joy and pride as he flew toward Corey who was literally his father.

He was like a child running to his father to show off the first place medal he got in a sports competition.

However, Corey's gaze suddenly sharpened and his eyes flashed with a grey light. A fraction of a second later, Primus suddenly vanished.

He directly reappeared in his hand in the form of a glass rod, his basic form.

However, Corey's gaze was on the space Primus previously was, and in that location was a hand.

It was a normally looking hand, and it was in a grasping motion but then it stopped when there was nothing to grasp.

Despite the fact that it was just a hand, Corey's expression was extremely grave because of the immense power the hand contained.

It felt like it could destroy the world with a single punch.

"Hmm?"

A voice suddenly resounded in the space around the hand, then a ripple occured in space.

No.

A figure walked out of thin air, and this figure was the owner of the hand. He looked at Corey with raised brows, then he shifted his gaze to Primus who was in Corey's hand.

"You noticed?" The figure said with a slightly surprised expression, and Corey clenched his teeth with a struggling expression.

The power

The mere power the man's voice contained nearly shattered his mind, and Corey had to quickly protect himself.

This man... was a god.
