Chapter 146: Wolf and Demon (Part 2)_3

"""

The magic power gathered on the stage like hundreds of rivers flowing into the sea.

Two horns, a goat face, a goat beard, goat hooves, black scale armor...

The giant demon, originally hiding within the priest, reformed in the arena.

Hans struggled to get up from the ground, the demon's magic power burning him was rapidly healing, yet the evil magic seemed like tiny insects with life, desperately burrowing into him.

If he were a werewolf of this world, he might have already been infiltrated by these "insects" and become a puppet of the demon before him.

"Damn it!"

The demon's face showed human-like rage.

The only hosts the demon could choose were devout believers like the priest, who not only presided over numerous sacrifice rituals but whose bodies had been eroded and transformed by its magic.

This was also the meaning behind the word "apostle."

But now, that body was destroyed.

It meant that even if it killed everyone present, soon it would have to return to the abyss, all its years of hard guidance of the believers, countless magic power used, and attempts to descend to the world, were all in vain with the destruction of this body.

"I will consign you to eternal doom in the fire prison of the abyss!"

The demon raged, its goat hooves stamped on the ground.

The ground, originally soaked in blood, instantly surged up with a layer of green flames, as a true demon from the abyss, its strength was undeniably formidable.

Sensing their master's fury, the resurrected dead intensified their attacks, and the soldiers, who were already barely holding, felt immense pressure increase.

Hans stared intently at the demon.

Boom—

The demon's scale-covered giant fist suddenly smashed towards Hans.

The green flames burning on the ground gathered into a wave of fire, overwhelming Hans.

The space around the demon was distorting, indicating the world's rejection of it had begun, its time to remain here was severely limited.

Boom—

The demon's fist struck the ground, creating a deep pit.

Fine cracks spread like a spider web.

Though Hans dodged the punch, he couldn't escape the overwhelming green flames, the demon's true form released magic power that was virtually infinite.

Were it not for the world's immense suppression and rejection of it, this demon would stand at the pinnacle of power, surpassed only by the strongest wizard and blood prince.

"Die, die, die!"

The demon roared, pouring forth its magic power.

To it, all plans had failed, and it needn't be as cautious as before, merely venting its anger.

Given its terrifying power, caution was unnecessary.

Hans fled the flames in disarray.

Yet the next moment, he was struck by a dark green magical force.

A curse!

Hans felt like a rusty machine, every joint moving with difficulty, unable to dodge the demon's following attacks, he was struck and flung away.

He struggled to get up, the green flames still clung to him like a metaphorical bone infection, continuously eroding his life force.

If Hans weren't a heavy armor warrior, his life force second only to Prajna's heavy iron guard template, he'd have lost all combat ability by now.

"Prepare to die."

The demon's eyes glowed red, raising its arms, forming a giant two-handed sword made of green flames between its hands.

"Hey, big guy!"

A cheerful female voice suddenly rang in its ear.

Suddenly, a bat transformed into a black-skirted girl.

In her hand, she gripped a blood-thrown spear.

"Wh-what is it?"

The demon's eyes flashed with confusion; this female, seemingly a vampire yet possessing a distinctly different power, puzzled it.

But soon, fury replaced the confusion.

"Whatever you are, die!"

The flame giant sword swung down with overwhelming force.

Furinjira smiled and snapped her fingers, as the blood spear shot out, her body transformed back into a bat, the green flames merely burned the bat to ashes.

Her form reappeared not far away, re-consolidating.

"Whew, such destructive power. Jeanne, I've attracted its attention; now, it's your turn, use your big spear and pierce its backside!"

A golden-haired female knight in silver-white armor stood at the theater's entrance, clutching a long spear radiating rich golden light.

Her arm swung backwards.

Endless light gathered in her hand, in this moment, the whole world seemed to fade.

"Die, filthy beast!"

The golden light pierced the air.

It seemed even space was shortened.

In the instant the demon saw this scene, the golden long spear pierced its eye socket, the terrifying holy power within that strange weapon instantly transformed into an unquenchable holy flame, filling its body.

"What...what is this damned thing?"

"No, impossible, I am the prince of the abyss, the future supreme demon monarch, I cannot die here."

The demon roared in terror.

At this moment, it only hated this world's rejection force being too weak, as it hadn't yet banished it back to the abyss.

The magic within it, originally raging like gasoline, was ignited by the holy flame and turned back to burn itself.

Bang—

All the demon's orifices spewed out holy flames.

The shrill cries made Losa, who hadn't acted yet, feel like his eardrums were splitting, blood trickled from them.

Jeanne knelt on one knee and intoned, "Holy!"

The flames burned fiercer, turning the entire demon into a blazing torch.
