"Even if a Great Demon, who has cultivated power through sacrificing countless living beings and twisted their mind to the extreme, comes here, they must honestly abide by the rules."
"Is there anyone who doesn't abide by them?"
Lin Hui smiled faintly, looking as if she had contributed a certain amount of power as well.
"Now only those who abide remain."
Lu Ren nodded slightly: "Then what is the use of Wang Coin, and why do you only carry it around outside without going into Wang City?"
"Wang Coin, like money in your Human Race's mundane world, is very important, very important! It is the cornerstone of your survival here," Lin Hui said seriously, "You must remember, no matter what, always keep a Wang Coin on you, it is your proof in this place!"
After a pause, Lin Hui looked up at the indescribably magnificent ancient city ahead. Compared to it, Lu Ren felt like an ant gazing at a giant mountain, filled with hope.
"This Wang City, contains our certificate of ascension; there, our form of life can undergo a complete transformation, oh, right, in terms of your cultivation system, it is the Taoism Fruit."
Lu Ren was surprised: "Taoism Fruit? Isn't it something you comprehend on your own?"
"Of course you can comprehend it yourself, but how many people can truly achieve that on their own?"
Lin Hui said quietly, "There is an arena in Wang City where you can trample thousands of living beings and offer them as sacrifices to bring down the Taoism Fruit. This is the best path to sublimation in Wang City."
"So what are these people doing here?"
"Naturally, they don't want to die and lack the courage to go to Wang City to obtain the certificate of ascension, yet they are unwilling to go back, so they wander here. Over time, a market has formed here," Lin Hui sighed, "These cultivators are renowned figures in their respective worlds, but when they come here, they become insignificant nobodies, wandering around daily out of unwillingness."
She opened her hand, revealing a Wang Coin in her palm.
"This Wang Coin appears and disappears with thought. Once you gather ten thousand coins, you will have the qualification to enter Wang City and purchase the certificate of ascension."
Lu Ren raised an eyebrow but said nothing more. He truly had no concept of this Wang Coin, but judging from Lin Hui's tone, it seemed exceptionally difficult to earn.
Appearing and disappearing with thought means any non-standard avenues to obtain it are completely cut off.
By the end of the day, Lu Ren placed a Wang Coin in Lin Hui's palm. Seeing her overjoyed, examining the Wang Coin repeatedly as if it were a precious treasure.
Lu Ren remained calm, not asking much about Lin Hui's specific information, given their shallow acquaintance and their mere employment relationship.
"Alright, let's part ways here. See you if fate allows!"
Lin Hui waved her hand and bounced away cheerfully.
Watching Lin Hui's receding figure, Lu Ren withdrew his gaze, and noticed at the most bustling crossroads of the market, a new batch of Spiritual Vein Pills were being hoarded by a crowd.
These Spiritual Vein Pills flow from within Wang City; the city and the outside are not absolutely isolated, but instead, still maintain a connection.
Spiritual Veins connect to the Spirit, allowing one to glimpse the Celestial Being.
This is why it's so sought after by so many cultivating creatures, a truly rare Treasure Pill, offering a slim chance at glimpsing the opportunity of a Taoism Fruit.
Even in the real world, it would be something that countless people would fight over tooth and nail.
However, Lu Ren still had a doubt in his mind, could this place truly condense the Human Immortal Path Fruit, or are the worlds these cultivators come from unlike the real world?
Lu Ren turned and began leisurely exploring this spontaneously-built town with its diverse Exotic Realm architecture, lined up one after another, dazzling him to the point where he couldn't help but stop and admire a house in front of him.
He truly hadn't expected a building to be crafted in a style resembling a pile of mush on Lazy Goat's head.
"Hey, hey, Buddhist Sect Traveler, what are you looking at, do you have something to say about my house?"
The old man squatting at the doorway, with a large head and small body, wasn't pleased with Lu Ren's inquisitive gaze, clearly aware that their buildings looked no better than a pile of dung to the Human Race.
Lu Ren shook his head slightly without saying more and left straight away.
No longer paying attention to the affairs on the market, Lu Ren left town and slowly made his way towards the gates of Wang City.
Along the way, Lu Ren encountered many travelers, all intending to enter Wang City, from their gestures and furtive glances, most, like him, had only recently arrived here.
"Greetings, fellow Daoist."
A soft, gentle voice suddenly sounded.
Following the voice, Lu Ren saw a striking person, like a Young Worldly Master, face adorned with blush and misty eyes.
A male with female features, practicing a typical dual cultivation technique, thus possessing such appearance. Judging by the Primordial Spirit aura emanating, the other could freely switch between dominant and submissive.
Wondering if they could simultaneously be both...
Scoffing internally, Lu Ren's expression remained unchanged; under the Great Perfection of the Ten Lands Scripture Realm, he had long shielded his Primordial Spirit fluctuations. Some specializing in Spirit Secret Techniques, able to peer directly into minds, would still find Lu Ren obscure and hazy.
"What's up?" Lu Ren asked indifferently, his gaze unchanged, checking the other's Primordial Spirit solidity. Finding the other to be merely a cultivator of a certain Taoism Realm, he silently calculated that he could kill the other instantly, finally easing his mind slightly.
Unaware of having already died once in Lu Ren's mind, the man offered a slight bow and smiled: "I noticed we're the only ones of the Human Race along this road, hence daring to approach and converse with you. You don't mind, do you?"
Lu Ren looked down at his eighteen-foot Bodhisattva Dharma Body, his expression peculiar: "You can tell I'm of the Human Race?"
The man smiled: "After all, dedicated Buddhist Sect followers are extremely rare, and most are cultivated by Bodhisattvas. But to become a Bodhisattva, without exception, you must be from our Human Race."
Pausing, the man warmly invited: "Are you heading to Wang City? How about we go together?"
Lu Ren was agreeable; after all, despite Lin Hui's detailed introduction, he wanted to verify much of the information about Wang City for authenticity.
Like whether the creatures coming to Wang City are from All Heavens and Myriads of Realms or merely from the Great Cosmic World cultivation system, these things needed confirmation.
But Lu Ren figured it was likely the latter; after all, when he inquired about the condensation of the Human Immortal Path Fruit with Lin Hui, she, being at the peak of Path Determination, not having touched the Seeking Truth Realm, unable to enter the Seeking Truth Realm, would have trouble knowing what really happened there.
