After finalizing the line-up, Plotter left the practice room with a few words of instructions for the group of managers.

Rayen and his teammates watched his short figure walk away, and finally heaved a sigh.

With that, the individual managers busied themselves with their own members to manage. Immediately, the weird sickly man approached Rayen.

When the man stopped before him, his sleazy eyes fixed itself on Rayen which made his hair stand on end.

"Uh, Mr. Zi... Is there something on my face?" Rayen asked, his eyes avoiding looking directly at Zi Xu.

"No, I'm just trying to gauge if my work of art truly matched your striking features," Zi Xu explained.

Rayen fought the urge to twitch his lips in front of him.

"What work of art?" Rayen asked.

"Cough, this."

As he said that, Zi Xu pulled out his phone and tapped it a few times. Just then, a brown envelope appeared in midair, which Zi Xu caught swiftly before handing it to Rayen.

"What's this?" Rayen curiously took the envelope, but he didn't open it immediately.

"It's your identity documents."

'They can store other items in their inventory?!'

When Rayen heard that, his face lit up in enlightenment.

Only after Zi Xu said that did it click on Rayen's mind. The identity they were using right now had been long dead. That meant... They were essentially illegal people living in this country with no IDs, no papers — nothing at all.

And now that they were set to debut, they would have to interact with outside people more frequently. What if they got found out to be illegal migrants?

Rayen definitely doesn't want to go to jail for that reason.

'But why in the world did it become his work of art?'

Curious, Rayen took out the documents in question. But after some careless tugging, a small rectangular object fell on the floor. When he saw the identity card that fell out, Rayen finally understood what Mr. Zi meant.

Rayen's gaze was fixed on the picture of a black-haired man on the identity card. He has fair skin, cherry blossom eyes and an awkward smile — just like the flowery boys he would always see on idols.

'Is that supposed to be me?'

Rayen shook his head. This handsome ass man is definitely not him! There's definitely some embellishments involved in here!

Nevertheless, Rayen still crouched down to pick it up.

[Name: Im Rayen

Birthdate: February 17, 2xxx

Age: 19

Address: xxxx, Seoul, South Korea]

"....."

Seeing the listed age on his ID, Rayen's face felt stoned.

'I still can't believe my age just went down by 5 years…'

Although Rayen was already aware of it the moment he received his new Life Book, it still felt awkward.

As though not sensing Rayen's complicated emotions, Zi Xu asked him, "Well, did you like my work of art?"

"Haha..." Rayen laughed as he inserted the identity card back inside the envelope. "Thanks for the trouble."

"No need. It's my job as your manager. The others also have it as well."

Upon hearing his words, Rayen looked around. And just like as Mr. Zi said, the other managers were also giving his teammates their own documents for their new identities.

Just then, Yeo Haru's startled voice caught Rayen's attention.

"School?!"

Rayen glanced his way.

Yeo Haru's usually bright face had turned ashen. Rayen was reminded of the time when they were in the cruise ship. This was exactly what Yeo Haru looked like then.

"No, I don't want to," Yeo Haru adamantly shook his head.

"You have no say in this matter. You're required to go to school even if you don't agree. If you don't go to school, the agency might be accused of unfair treatment."

Yeo Haru bit his lips at Drake's words. "Then, we'll just say I'm getting homeschooled."

"What are you? A sick child?" Drake hit him on the head.

"Ack!" That didn't faze Yeo Haru, though. He just rubbed the sore spot and glared at Drake. "I don't want to go to school!"

Drake only sighed.

While watching this spectacle, Zi Xu suddenly stood beside Rayen.

"Speaking of school, you're 19. Supposed to be the age of university students," Zi Xu said.

Rayen could only pry his gaze away from Yeo Haru and turn to him. "Ah?"

"Do you want to go to university?"

Rayen was silent for a moment.

'University? At my age?'

Before dying and getting chucked into the show, Rayen was 24 years old. Though, he never entered college of any sorts from his past life. After high school, he immediately formed the band together with Liam and Jared.

Although a college degree isn't that relevant for Rayen's current situation now — after all, they weren't normal idols who could just live a normal private life if they failed and couldn't meet sales.

Still, he didn't entirely reject Mr. Zi's suggestion.

It wasn't that bad to experience it.

"I'll consider it."

Zi Xu nodded, clearing his throat once more. "Just tell me if you ever make up your mind. I'll arrange it for you."

Rayen's discomfort slightly lessened with Mr. Zi's considerate attitude. Gradually, he was able to summon his courage to ask the thing he was most curious about.

"Mr. Zi, if it's not too much to ask... How much resources did you spend on me?"

Zi Xu's brow went up. "Are you curious about it?"

"Well..." Rayen laughed awkwardly. "I thought my manager would be one of the five sponsors who first supported me."

Hearing his words, Zi Xu suddenly laughed hard. So hard, his laughter gradually turned into a fit of coughing.

Once his coughing calmed down, he finally said, "Oh, right. That Sophie was kinda incensed when she learned it wasn't one of them who contributed to you the most and was just some random non-affiliated Entity. Her hair stood on its end like a cat!"

Zi Xu wanted to laugh out loud once again, but he might pass away if he did so again, so he refrained himself.

Meanwhile, Rayen tilted his head, imagining the way Mr. Zi described Madame Sophie getting incensed.

'Hair standing on end? Like a cat???'

"Well, it's not really a big deal. I can tell you," Zi Xu continued. "I only invested 12 petals."

Madame Sophie's image immediately faded from Rayen's mind as he listened to Zi Xu's words.

Rayen blinked.

'Did I hear that right?'

Zi Xu rubbed his chin confidently. "Compared to the reward, 12 petals are too little."

It seems like Rayen really didn't hear it wrong.

"Wait, wait, 12?!"

"Hmm, yes. What's the problem?"

"A-Are you saying..."

"Saying what?"

Rayen observed his personal manager closely.

Back then during the 2nd round… During the culling segment, didn't 17 sponsors vote for him? If he deducted the numbers of his first five sponsors, the remaining votes would be exactly 12.

If that was the case... Then those 12 sponsors… They were actually just a single Entity?
