Idol Revive: If I Don't Debut, I'll Disappear

Chapter 275: Nightmare's Owner

Eating snacks definitely saved Rayen there. Once he had eaten his fill, his depleted energy returned.

"Why don't we go to the shared bath?" Han Daon said next.

Ever since learning that most of them were foreigners, he has been quite interested in guiding them. Rayen and the others had also agreed to his request.

Though Rayen immediately regretted it...

Before they could enter the bathhouse, they would have to remove their clothes, exposing their entire body.

'I didn't sign up for this.'

It wasn't only he who was feeling that way. Rayen glanced at the now almost as tall as him, Xu Jiji. They held the towel they received and the basket that was given to them to place their clothes in.

The two stared at each other.

Han Daon's laughter echoed in the changing room as he watched the two. Then, he hit Rayen in the back with his palm.

'That damn hurt!'

"Oh, sorry!" Han Daon immediately apologized. "I forgot you're also fragile."

Choi Jiho kicked Han Daon in his butt and tried to drag his teammate away.

Before Han Daon was dragged all the way, he shouted to Rayen and Xu Jiji. "Don't be shy. We're all guys here!"

Yeo Haru approached Xu Jiji too, his usual energetic self nowhere to be found.

"You know, you can just use the towel and drape it over your uh..." Yeo Haru's voice was low as he pointed at the lower part of Xu Jiji's body. "... Waist."

"....."

Finally, Xu Jiji said, "Okay."

Xu Jiji slowly took his top off, surprising both Rayen and Yeo Haru. The pair immediately turned their backs on him and left him alone.

After a few minutes, everyone had taken off all of their clothes. Aside from Han Daon and Adrian, who seemed to have no care about their images, the rest draped a towel over their waist. Rayen's and Xu Jiji's fear of being the odd two out didn't happen at all.

Adrian turned to Rayen, his gaze lowering down specifically in that location. "You're not gonna show it around this time, Eureka?"

The others curiously turned to the two of them.

Rayen rolled his eyes at him and walked away.

However, when the two groups neared the bath, Yeo Haru's steps gradually slowed down. Rayen and the others turned to look back at him.

"What's the matter?" Adrian asked.

Yeo Haru looked back and forth at the door and the floor. It took him a while before he could open his mouth to respond.

"I'll just go to sleep..." Then, he turned his back and walked away.

The others watched him, blinking.

"Should we just go to other facilities?" Han Daon asked as though he sensed something odd with Yeo Haru's actions.

"No. Go on. I'll just talk to him," Rayen said, running off after Yeo Haru.

But his actions were even odder than Yeo Haru's.

When Rayen caught up with Yeo Haru, he reached out for the collar of his shirt and dragged him.

Yeo Haru's face was filled with question marks.

Unable to comprehend what just happened, Yeo Haru resisted a bit too late, flinging his hands in the air.

"Who are you?! Help! Someone's kidna—"

"Shut up. Stop resisting and follow me," Rayen said.

As soon as Yeo Haru heard Rayen's familiar voice, he shut his mouth and stopped moving around.

Rayen resumed dragging Yeo Haru somewhere.

"Can't you at least let go of me first, Bro? I can walk by myself."

Rayen ignored him and continued with what he was doing. Yeo Haru had no choice but to let Rayen be.

Still, the scene of a tall guy being dragged away by a person shorter than him was indeed odd. Fortunately, few people were at the place to watch it.

"... Where are you dragging me?"

Stopping for a moment, Rayen looked left and right. Finally, his gaze settled on the door of one of the facilities. Rayen once again dragged Yeo Haru to that place.

"Steam Room"

Rayen used his card to access the facility then pushed Yeo Haru inside while stepping in himself. Yeo Haru glanced around before finally settling on the stone seat embedded in the facility's wall.

With crossed arms, Rayen also sat down.

The two stared at each other.

"W-What do you want?" Yeo Haru asked, his tone a bit higher than usual.

"Nothing. I just want someone to accompany me in this place."

"....."

In this place, there were no cameras. It seemed soundproof too. It was the perfect place to talk without worrying about prying eyes.

The only problem was that it was too hot.

They had just been here for a few minutes, but beads of sweat were already running down Yeo Haru's skin. Rayen was slightly accustomed to warm environments because his place of origin had a warm climate, so he was faring better than Yeo Haru.

It seems like they only had a limited time to talk.

But what should Rayen say?

He had long realized whose nightmares he was having. It was far too easy to guess.

Back then, during their healing trip on an island, Yeo Haru mentioned that he was afraid of the ocean. And just earlier, he refused to go inside the shared bathhouse. Both places have one thing in common — deep waters.

In the nightmare, Rayen kept dying underwater. Although he couldn't see much in the darkness, the sensation of the swirling coldness covering his entire body in the dream was definitely water.

That just meant Yeo Haru... might have died by drowning.

It must have been scary.

However, there was another scene in his dream: the door to the classroom. It wasn't as scary as the nightmare of him drowning, but when Rayen was inside that dream, Rayen's entire body seemed heavy.

What's up with that dream, then?

"Bro, it's too hot here."

Rayen was brought back to the present with Yeo Haru's voice.

"It's good for our body," Rayen responded, leaning comfortably on the wall. "I'll just drag you out if you ever pass out."

Yeo Haru sighed and gave up in resignation.

Gradually, Yeo Haru's entire body was covered in huge beads of sweat. Droplets even formed below his chin. His skin was turning pink, supple under the heat.

"Tell me when you feel dizzy," Rayen said.

Minutes passed with only silence between the two. Rayen kept thinking of the right words to open the discussion, but he couldn't find it.

When Yeo Haru's body started swaying, Rayen had to drag him out of the room. In the end, he still couldn't open up this matter to Yeo Haru.
