The Snake Lord's cold and detached gaze extinguished the last glimmer of hope for the remaining members of the Freedom Organization.

In less than a minute, the dozen or so survivors all collapsed to the ground, their bodies rigid and thoroughly poisoned to death.

The giant snake discovered that its venomous mist had no effect on the Snake Lord. Enraged, it completely lost its composure. In this water domain, no creature had ever been able to ignore its attacks like this—especially such an insignificant ant-like existence.

Following this, the giant snake launched an even more ferocious attack. Its blood-spattered jaws combined with sweeping strikes from its tail forced the Snake Lord to retreat repeatedly.

In terms of raw power, the Snake Lord was no match for the giant snake. To be fair, if the Snake Lord did not unleash his Black Mamba Lifeline Snake, he stood no chance in a one-on-one battle against the giant snake.

But at times, the outcome of a battle is not entirely determined by individual strength!

The Snake Lord snapped his fingers and smiled at the giant snake. "I think the time has come. Collapse for me!"

Within three seconds of his words, the giant snake let out a thunderous crash as it fell heavily to the ground, creating a massive trench as it landed.

The giant snake was bewildered. No matter how hard it tried, it found that it couldn't move a muscle.

The Snake Lord slowly approached the giant snake, gently stroking its head as he spoke with intoxicated delight, "You've finally calmed down. Rest assured, you'll soon become my little darling!"

Before luring the giant snake, the Snake Lord had poured a packet of powder into the river. This powder, when dissolved in water, formed a colloidal substance.

When the giant snake surged forward, the colloid on the water's surface coated the snake's entire body.

Once enough time had passed and the colloidal substance fully solidified, the scales on the snake's body were bonded by the colloid, rendering them incapable of moving in sync with the snake's internal muscles.

If a snake's scales cannot move, it loses its ability to move overall. And a motionless giant snake posed no threat to the Snake Lord!

However, the Snake Lord was well aware that although the colloidal substance was potent and a nemesis to snakes, he wasn't entirely confident that it could restrain the giant snake for long!

Thus, even though the giant snake was immobilized for now, the Snake Lord decided to act immediately.

Taming such a colossal creature was no simple feat, especially when the giant snake harbored no genuine submission toward the Snake Lord.

But as the Snake Lord, he had long prepared strategies to deal with situations like this!

The Snake Lord circled the giant snake, inspecting its scales while knocking on them. Each scale was adorned with fine barbs and was incredibly hard—so much so that even armor-piercing rounds couldn't penetrate them.

After completing his survey, the Snake Lord patted the giant snake's upper jaw. "Open up, darling…"

In a sudden motion, the giant snake widened its jaws, attempting to swallow the Snake Lord. However, with a flick of his finger, the Snake Lord sent a crimson pill shooting into the giant snake's mouth, where it quickly dissolved inside its body.

"Given the size of this beast, the pill will take at least ten minutes to take full effect," the Snake Lord muttered to himself with some frustration. His greatest worry now was the shortage of time—if he couldn't resolve the matter within ten minutes and the giant snake broke free, he would be inconsolable.

About seven or eight minutes passed, and a trace of weariness swept across the formerly wide-eyed serpent's gaze. Its head fell heavily to the ground, and its body grew limp, collapsing entirely.

"Finally knocked out!" The Snake Lord breathed a sigh of relief. He patted the giant snake's head and inspected its eyes, confirming that the snake was truly motionless, even its muscular contractions entirely relaxed.

A gleam of excitement surfaced on the Snake Lord's face—the pill had finally taken effect.

With the giant snake unconscious, its core consciousness would weaken, drastically reducing the difficulty of sealing it as his Lifeline Snake.

"Come forth, my Black Mamba!" The Indian Snake King waved his hand, summoning a massive Black Mamba measuring over a hundred meters long to appear before him.

The Snake Lord stroked the Black Mamba's head and extracted a drop of purple blood from the center of its brow.

This was the Blood of Contract! By injecting this blood into the giant snake's body, it would seep into the snake's brain, allowing the Snake Lord to command it.

"Darling, you're about to be mine!" The Snake Lord approached the giant snake, placing the blood droplet on its forehead.

The droplet gradually seeped into the giant snake's forehead, and the Snake Lord's smile grew broader.

He began imagining commanding two Lifeline Snakes for his revenge.

"First destroy the God Butcher, then the Dragon Group! Cross me, the Snake Lord, and I'll make the Dragon Group pay the ultimate price!" The Snake Lord growled through clenched teeth.

But just as this moment unfolded, the partially absorbed droplet suddenly ejected violently, striking the Snake Lord squarely.

The sudden twist left the Snake Lord astounded. How could the Blood of Contract fail to penetrate? This was impossible!

In that instant, the seemingly limp giant snake abruptly opened its eyes, and its massive serpent gaze carried an unmistakable glint of mockery and disdain.

"Damn it, I've been fooled!" The Snake Lord's heart sank. In a flash, he understood—the giant snake's unconscious state had all been a facade, a ploy to deceive him!

"Black Mamba, retreat!" The Snake Lord ordered hastily.

Halved due to sharing the Blood of Contract, the Black Mamba was somewhat frail. Although it attempted to retreat upon hearing the order, it was already too late.

The giant snake's bulk lunged at the Black Mamba, entwining itself tightly around the smaller serpent's body. The two massive snakes began to viciously bite and thrash at one another.

While the Snake Lord's Black Mamba was formidable, it was no match for the giant snake in terms of size or strength. Furthermore, the partial extraction of Blood of Contract had left the Black Mamba weakened, making it even less of an opponent against the giant snake.

Before long, the Black Mamba was at a clear disadvantage—it was covered in wounds and bleeding profusely, with several patches of flesh torn off by the giant snake.

The Snake Lord's heart bled with anguish as he roared, "Beast, I won't let this slide!"

However, the colloid's effectiveness had worn off, leaving no means of restraining the giant snake's movements. The giant snake channeled its earlier rage entirely onto the Black Mamba.

"Damn it!" Watching the Black Mamba suffer increasingly severe injuries, the Snake Lord decided he couldn't afford to wait any longer. Controlling the power of heaven and earth, he unleashed blast after blast upon the giant snake.

But the giant snake's scales provided an impenetrable defense—no matter what attack was thrown at it, the strikes were rendered harmless. On the rare occasion an attack actually breached its scales, the thick muscles beneath them absorbed the blow effortlessly.

If the battle persisted, the Black Mamba would undoubtedly sustain irreparable injuries!

"Retreat!" In surrender, the Snake Lord waved his hand, recalling the Black Mamba, and instantly darted away at top speed.

Seeing that its opponent had vanished, the giant snake didn't pursue the Snake Lord. Instead, it raised its head and hissed triumphantly, its enormous tail slamming into the water surface, sending towering waves crashing in all directions.

It had won. Though the process had been humiliating at times, it ultimately prevailed as the undisputed ruler of this water domain!
