The Supreme Martial Expert of the Female CEO

Chapter 852: Appearing Again

"Not polite? How exactly are you going to be impolite?" Ling Feng glanced at Saint Di Anfu, stretched lazily, and said with a smirk, "If we fought, you'd lose. If we argued, you'd lose. So tell me, what can you do to me?"

Looking at Ling Feng's shameless demeanor, Saint Di Anfu bit down on her silver teeth. "Ling Feng, don't push me!"

"You sound like you're going to transform if I push you!" Ling Feng retorted dismissively. "But if you want to beat me, it's not entirely impossible!"

"Oh?" Saint Di Anfu asked curiously, "Are you actually daring enough to say how?"

Ling Feng chuckled. "Why wouldn't I dare? In this world, only my woman can defeat me... in bed. So, are you sure you want to defeat me and be 'impolite' to me?"

"Ling Feng, you damn scoundrel!" Saint Di Anfu furiously lunged at him, grabbing his arm and biting down hard.

Ling Feng inhaled sharply. This Saint Di Anfu, the so-called Bright Saintess, acted more like a shrew, biting people at the drop of a hat!

"Let go!" Ling Feng winced and grimaced. "Are you a dog or something? Do you even know how painful biting is?"

Saint Di Anfu mumbled with her teeth still clamped on his arm, "I'm not letting go! Who told you to bully me? Apologize, and I'll let go!"

Ling Feng growled in anger. "Little girl, don't test my patience. If you don't let go, don't blame me for not being polite!"

Saint Di Anfu smirked coldly and refused to let go.

Ling Feng took a deep breath and suddenly put on a serious expression. "Alright, you forced me into this! I'm giving you one last chance!"

Saint Di Anfu remained unmoved!

"Help! The Saintess is biting people! Somebody help!" Ling Feng suddenly shouted, his voice dramatic and tragic, as if he were being violated.

Saint Di Anfu froze in shock, releasing his arm and staring dazedly at his theatrical wailing. She couldn't understand why Ling Feng would act so... shamelessly.

It completely overturned her perception of him. Was this really the fearsome Blood-Handed Asura?

"Ha! You're still too green to go up against me!" Seeing the Saintess release his arm, Ling Feng's smug grin only grew wider.

Saint Di Anfu held her head in exasperation, deciding she would no longer acknowledge this incorrigible man.

Not long after, Archbishop Berkeley returned.

"Ling Feng, did you get the map?" Archbishop Berkeley asked the moment he stepped through the door.

Ling Feng shook his head. "No, the Freedom Organization's leader didn't disclose its location to anyone. I figure he's the only one who knows where the map is."

Archbishop Berkeley frowned deeply. If that were true, then all their efforts might have been in vain.

"But... is what Ling Feng said really true?" Archbishop Berkeley scrutinized Ling Feng, noting the clarity in his gaze with no sign of deception. After pondering it, he realized Ling Feng had no reason to lie to him. Most likely, Ling Feng was being truthful.

Ling Feng sighed and said, "I originally planned to shadow that guy to make a move later, but you two scared him off instead. My plan to pick the peach at the last minute fell through. I'm at my wit's end too!"

Archbishop Berkeley coughed awkwardly. "Is there really no other way to locate the map? Having an extra map would give us better odds."

Ling Feng shook his head. "They do have some means of pinpointing the map's location, but I don't know the specifics, so..."

"Pinpointing the map's location?" Archbishop Berkeley thought for a moment, then pulled out a metal fragment. "Are you referring to this? We confiscated it from a captured Freedom Organization member back in the Mediterranean."

Ling Feng shrugged. "But we still don't know how to use it to find the map. It seems there's no way for our alliance to continue."

Archbishop Berkeley said calmly, "Don't worry; I've got a way!"

Saying this, Archbishop Berkeley infused a strand of the Power of Light into the metal fragment. Instantly, the fragment buzzed and spun continuously in midair, as though searching for something.

Ling Feng was startled. He had a map inside his Devil's Ring—if this fragment discovered it... he'd be in deep trouble!

Fortunately, the fragment wasn't that omnipotent. After spinning a few times, it pointed in the direction of the Louvre.

Archbishop Berkeley put the fragment away, a faint smile on his lips. "It seems the map is still within the Louvre. The enemy hasn't retrieved it yet."

Before his words even settled, Archbishop Berkeley's phone rang.

A frantic voice came from the phone—it was Hans. "Archbishop Berkeley, that monster appeared again! He just stole a parchment scroll from inside the Louvre. Our men are chasing him now!"

"What?" Archbishop Berkeley's expression darkened instantly. "Alright, I'll be there immediately!"

After hanging up, he said grimly, "The Freedom Organization has the map and is on the run. I'll go assist Hans in chasing him. Seize the opportunity to snatch the map from him!"

Ling Feng was slightly surprised. He didn't expect the Holy Envoy to play such a crafty move. It seemed the map was indeed vital to Hell's Gate!

"No problem!" Ling Feng smiled faintly. "I'll head out right away!"

Half an hour later, Archbishop Berkeley caught up with Hans.

"Captain Hans, what's the situation now?" Archbishop Berkeley asked.

Hans sighed and replied, "I'm still uncertain. That guy injured six of our people before escaping into the Seine River!"

"Into the Seine River?" Archbishop Berkeley gazed at the broad waters below and couldn't help asking, "Didn't you pursue him?"

Hans sighed heavily. "Of course, we did! But the six men who went after him were instantly wounded. If I hadn't been quick enough, they'd be six corpses by now!"

Archbishop Berkeley rubbed his temple in frustration. "So what's your plan now? And what exactly is that parchment scroll he took?"

Hans replied gravely, "The parchment is covered in countless mysterious runes and dates back over 5,000 years. It was being displayed as an ancient artifact due to its exquisite craftsmanship. But unexpectedly..."

Archbishop Berkeley understood immediately. That parchment was likely a fragment of the Atlantis Continent map and, without a doubt, the attacker's ultimate goal.

"I've locked onto his energy signature!" Hans said coldly. "I don't believe he'll hide at the bottom of the Seine forever. I've already deployed the Frogman Squad—let's see how he handles that!"
