From A Producer To A Global Superstar

Chapter 225: Disneyland

Dayo had just finished his workout.

His muscles were warm, his breathing steady, sweat still clinging lightly to his skin as he towel-dried his hair. It had been a long session—longer than usual—and for once, fatigue crept in gently instead of crashing down on him.

He lay back on the bed, one arm over his eyes.

"Just five minutes," he muttered.

The room was quiet. Peaceful.

Then—

Bang.

The door swung open.

Dayo didn't even need to look.

"Brother!" Janet's voice rang out, sharp and energetic. "You're sleeping?!"

He groaned. "Janet… please… five minutes."

"No!" She marched in, hands on her waist. "Wake up! Disneyland! Deborah will be waiting for us!"

Dayo peeked through one eye. "It's stilmorning."

"So?" she shot back. "Disneyland waits for no one."

He sighed, then laughed softly. "You're really not letting this go, are you?"

Janet folded her arms proudly. "Today, I'm the boss."

Dayo raised both hands. "Alright, alright. You win. Lead the way, Boss Janet."

Satisfied, she spun on her heels and walked out. "Five minutes. I'm counting."

Dayo shook his head, smiling to himself.

He splashed water on his face, changed into something casual—comfortable jeans, a light hoodie, sneakers—and grabbed his keys.

Disneyland.

He still couldn't believe he had promised this.

They drove to Sharon's house first.

The moment Dayo parked and stepped out of the car, he heard it.

Footsteps.

Then—

"UNCLE DAYOOOO!"

The door flew open and Deborah came running out, small arms wide open. She slammed into him with a force that made him laugh as he lifted her easily.

"Hey, hey," he said warmly. "Careful, princess."

"I missed you!" she said, hugging his neck tightly.

"I know," Dayo replied softly. "I missed you too."

Deborah pulled back suddenly, eyes lighting up as she spotted Janet. "SISTER JANET!"

Janet barely had time to react before Deborah hugged her next.

Janet laughed. "You're getting stronger."

Dayo leaned down slightly and tapped Janet's shoulder. "See? You're officially the cool sister now."

Janet smirked. "Obviously."

Sharon appeared at the doorway, arms crossed but smiling. "So… you finally showed up."

Dayo grinned. "I came with interest."

"Hmm." She shook her head. "You spoil this child too much."

"She deserves it," Dayo replied simply.

Inside, while Deborah rushed upstairs to grab her small backpack, Sharon walked beside Dayo.

"So," he said casually, "how's the Pepsi situation?"

Sharoon paused. "You shouuld already know i sent you the email."

Dayo placed his hands on his head and said. "Ah I was unable to read it so tell me now that I am here how is it coming along ?"

She smiled knowingly. "We finalized it."

He turned to her. "Finalized?"

"Thirty-five million," Sharon said calmly. "Three years. Global deal. Pepsi didn't hesitate once you countered."

Dayo let out a slow breath. "That was fast."

"They knew if they stalled, others would jump in," she replied. "Adidas is already circling. A few tech brands too."

Dayo nodded. "We'll handle clauses properly. I'll come by the office soon."

"Good." Sharon smiled. "Enjoy today. You earned it."

Dayo smiled at this Sharon is a single mom so when she came to work for Dayo he didn't know only when things were getting hectic did she finally tell him she was scares she would loose her job but Dayo smiled and tell her that if she needed help she could ask.

Which was why he became familiar with Deborah and she was missing a fatherly figure in her life and Dayo was happy to replce.

Sharon was a cool perisn and Dayo knew that deep donw if not because of Deborah he would have tried to have his way with Sharon.

After all she was indeed stunning for her age but he knew doing that would complicate how things were going so he held himself from doing anything.

And one of the reason was he had bonded with Deborah so he didn't want to make it hard for her more so he loves kids so he restrained himself.

Deborah ran back downstairs, backpack almost bigger than her.

"LET'S GO!" she shouted.

Janet laughed. "She's been ready since yesterday."

Dayo looked at the duo and shook his head he knew he was in for it today but seeing them smile was what gave him joy after singing.

They took a short flight to Disney World Orlando (Florida).

Deborah barely sat still the entire time.

"Is it close now?"

"Are we landing?"

"Will Mickey be there?"

Dayo answered every question patiently, earning amused looks from Janet.

When they finally arrived, the moment Deborah saw the entrance gates, her jaw dropped.

"It's… it's real," she whispered.

Janet grabbed Dayo's hand. "Brother… this place is huge."

Dayo adjusted his cap lower and pulled his face mask slightly higher.

"No shouting my name," he reminded them gently. "Deal?"

"Deal," Janet said.

"I promise," Deborah nodded seriously.

They stepped inside.

Music filled the air. Laughter echoed everywhere. Colorful balloons floated above crowds of excited children and smiling parents.

Deborah spun in circles. "Where do we go first?!"

Dayo knelt slightly. "You decide."

Her eyes widened. "Really?"

"Really."

She pointed dramatically. "THERE!"

The rides came one after another.

Deborah screamed with joy on the carousel. Janet dragged Dayo onto roller coasters she pretended not to be scared of. They took photos in front of the castle, bought oversized hats, and shared snacks while sitting on shaded benches.

"Uncle Dayo," Deborah said at one point, licking ice cream from her fingers, "are you rich?"

Janet choked on her drink.

Dayo laughed. "Why do you ask?"

"Because you keep saying yes to everything."

He smiled softly. "Because today is about you."

Janet watched him quietly for a moment, then smiled.

As evening approached, fireworks lit up the sky.

Deborah leaned against Dayo, sleepy but smiling.

"This is the best day ever," she murmured.

Dayo looked up at the glowing castle, heart unexpectedly full.

"Yeah," he whispered. "It really is."

For once, there were no races to win.

No stages to dominate.

No deals to negotiate.

Just laughter.

Just family.

Just magic.

And for Dayo, that was more than enough.
