As Leo Ray's words fell, the Magic Cannons on the city wall, having just finished charging, fired in unison, howling straight towards the nearby enemy fortress.

The roar of magic echoed through the night sky, instantly exploding on the Absolute Defense Barrier covering the enemy fortress, like dense raindrops falling into a calm lake, an awe-inspiring spectacle.

Witnessing the scene of countless magic explosions raging wildly, even Lannis and the Catman Clan strongmen on the city wall couldn't help but show expressions of shock.

One had to admit, the foundation of the Emperor of the Human Clan far exceeded their imagination.

"Damn it, what on earth is happening?"

On the opposite fortress wall, a Medusa general, her face brimming with hostility, shouted, "Who on earth has the audacity to attack here and disrupt Queen Belinda's coronation ceremony?"

The Medusa general, while directing her deputies to strengthen the Absolute Defense Barrier's energy supply, seethed with murderous intent, "Our Desert Alliance's Grand Army should have already wiped out the Desolate Fortress, and yet this brat dares to appear in our midst; simply courting death!"

"No wonder this brat is so bold; turns out he has these damned traitors assisting him."

The Medusa general soon noticed the Desert Catman Clan's flags flying over Ice Stone City, her expression darkening as she sneered, "Very well, breaking through my defense won't be easy, struggle all you want, but once our Desert Grand Army crushes everything, you'll all die without a burial place!"

As the Medusa general's voice faded, the enemy's Absolute Defense Barrier, which had been visibly diminished by our bombardment, regained its former intensity, standing as unshakable as a towering mountain.

"Not good, the enemy's Absolute Defense Barrier likely wasn't set up hastily; it's been deployed directly using Barrier Crystals, making it much stronger than the former!"

On Ice Stone City's wall, the Catman Grand Elder, his eyes wide, quickly spotted the clue and exclaimed, "Furthermore, the number of soldiers on the enemy's wall is extremely limited; the rest must've gone to power the Absolute Defense Barrier! They're not even counterattacking, just huddled like cowards!"

"It's not just that; the enemy's defense barrier isn't being powered by only 10 Tier 3 Legions, there's at least 1 Tier 4 Legion aiding them."

Lannis, after observing the battlefield, also grew serious.

"But as the Clan Leader mentioned before, Belinda hasn't fully controlled Medusa's power yet, she shouldn't be able to mobilize their Tier 4 forces, and the alliance's main force is still at the Desolate Fortress..."

The female elder's expression first showed confusion, then her eyes widened, "Could it be the Witch Demon Army assisting them in secret?!"

"It's the only answer."

Lannis nodded slightly, affirming, "Looks like we've underestimated the enemy's strength."

Upon hearing Lannis and the female elder's words, the other Catman elders and generals present all wore solemn expressions, focusing intently on the battle ahead.

One must understand, Medusas are all natural mages, incredibly difficult to deal with, while our side consists solely of Tier 4 physical legions, unable to operate the Magic Cannons.

With the Witch Demons aiding them in secret, this forms an unassailable barrier.

Beside the many Catman strongmen, Leo Ray, Elder Bing, Frost, and other allies also noticed the same situation, realizing that the enemy's Absolute Defense Barrier was even more indomitable than imagined.

More crucially, after the first wave of cannon fire due to our limited magic power, the magic cannon fire grew noticeably weaker, even with supporting physical long-range attacks from Catman archers and javelin throwers, it was impossible to shake the enemy even a little.

Leo Ray frowned deeply, inhaling slowly.
