A Cunning Pervert in the Cultivation World

Chapter 69: Outer Sect Library

After leaving the room and gently closing the door behind him.

Li Feng start stretching his shoulders and body, while took a long breath of the cool morning air.

*hmmmmm*

During the stretch, a faint pressure began to emanating from his body, causing the nearby trees to sway slightly.

Li Feng hadn't even tried to release it.

It all came from his raw, sheer strength, with no hint of Qi, but unconsciously radiating from his body.

His eyes then drifted toward the sect library direction for a moment.

"Brick techniques, huh…"

He didn't have much hope, but it never hurt to give it a try.

So he started heading toward the library.

Along the way, he noticed a few glance from a nearby disciple, while some even start whispering with each other.

"..Is that Li Feng?"

"Did he switch to being a Body Tempering cultivator?"

"Maybe… he never had much talent in regular cultivation anyway…"

It wasn't surprising since those who had known Li Feng before couldn't help but do a double-take as he had changed too much.

Both his appearance and his aura were unlike before.

Li Feng just ignored them and continued walking confidently forward, and he already prepared with an excuse for his change if anyone asked.

He then walked through the quiet corridors of the sect until he reached the Outer Sect Library.

The building infront of him was modest but solid, with dark wooden windows that let in streams of soft light.

The faint scent of old paper and ink drifted through the air and surrounding the place.

Inside, rows upon rows of wooden shelves stretched toward the high ceiling, which are filled with scrolls and books.

A few outer disciples can be seen moving silently between the aisles, studying or copying notes.

The atmosphere was calm, almost serene, the only sound being the occasional rustle of a turning page.

Li Feng stepped inside, his gaze sweeping over the neatly arranged scrolls.

"Hmm, where should I start…?" he murmured, feeling a bit lost aftering seeing the huge amount of books and scroll.

So he decided to ask for some guidance, and approached the disciple who seemed to manage the library at the front table.

"Hello, Senior Brother," Li Feng greeted the male disciple, who was currently buried his face in a scroll, and seem to be deeply focused on reading it.

"Hmm? Oh, can I help you with anything, Junior Brother?" the male disciple asked politely, lifting his head from the scroll.

His eyes widened slightly as he took in Li Feng's physique.

Is this Junior Brother a Body Tempering cultivator? he wondered

"Oh… I just want to ask if there's any skill or technique related to… a brick?" Li Feng asked hesitantly, feeling a bit absurd even saying it out loud.

"Eh? A brick?"

The male disciple frowned a bit after hearing Li Feng word, a confused expression crossing his face before he gave a bitter smile.

"Unfortunately, no... I've been managing this place for quite some time, and I've never seen any skill or technique related to a brick."

"Is that so…? Well, thank you for answering, Senior Brother," Li Feng said, feeling disappointed and turning to leave.

"Wait! why not look around a bit more? You might find an even better or similar technique that could meet your needs," the male disciple called out, stopping him.

Seeing the disappointed look on this polite junior brother, the male disciple felt a bit guilty and tried to offer some advice.

Li Feng pause his step, and thought for a moment.

'It doesn't hurt to broaden my horizons a bit.'

He nodded and decided to accept the advice as his advice did make sense.

"Senior Brother, thank you for your advice. I'll take a look around then." Li Feng gave a polite bow and headed toward the shelves.

He then moved deeper into the library, his eyes scanning the rows of scrolls and books carefully.

The titles on the scroll and books were neatly inscribed in flowing characters along the spines, though few caught his attention.

Most were common cultivation techniques—sword, spear, fist, and even elemental arts.

Then he arrived at an old shelf, thickly coated in dust as if it hadn't been touched for years.

He crouched in front of it and carefully wiped away the dusty label, revealing the name of the collection.

"Unorthodox Weapons & Techniques…?" Li Feng muttered, his interest instantly piqued.

He brushed a layer of dust off the top scroll, his fingers lingering over the bindings as he searched for anything… unusual.

After a few moments, he carefully pulled out a scroll and unrolled it, eyes scanning the faded characters with growing curiosity.

The faint smell of old ink and paper rose, and golden characters glimmered softly in the morning light.

The title read: "Techniques for Uncommon Martial Implements."

Li Feng's eyes lit up slightly.

Maybe here he could find something adaptable for his brick.

He carefully skimmed through the techniques—some focused on staves, some on chains, and a few on exotic tools like fans or hammers.

Nothing explicitly mentioned bricks, but a few of the more general "blunt weapon" techniques caught his attention.

'Hmm… maybe I can adapt one of these,' he thought.

His mind raced with possibilities: swinging, smashing, or even tossing the brick like a projectile.

As he continued browsing, a few outer disciples quietly passed by, glancing at him curiously as they rarely saw a Body Tempering Cultivator in this Sect.

Li Feng ignored them because as of now, the library will have his entire attention.

After a few minutes of more searching, a particular scroll caught his attention.

Its cover was simple, almost plain, with the words.

"Thrown Blunt Weapon Techniques" faintly visible.

Li Feng's eyes lit up.

'Thrown blunt weapon…? that could work.'

He carefully unrolled the scroll.

Inside, a series of illustrations showed cultivators hurling heavy objects, like maces, stones, and other blunt weapons, along with instructions on proper footwork, angles, and how to channel energy into the thrown object to maximize speed and impact.

"This… this could work with the brick," Li Feng murmured, a spark of excitement in his eyes as he leaned closer, carefully studying the technique.

At one section, labeled "Iron Meteor Toss," explained how to imbue an object with one's energy before launching it, increasing both distance and destructive power.

'This is it!' Li Feng thought, a surge of excitement running down his spine as if a light bulb had just gone off in his mind.

The brick could be used as a projectile, to launched at incredible speed and striking with far more force than anyone would expect if he properly imbued it with his Qi and raw strength.

The only drawback, of course, was that this technique was essentially a one-time use as you were basically throwing your weapon away.

But… with his ability to summon the brick back at will, it could become incredibly powerful.

Now, he had discovered another method of ranged attack; he just needed to practice this Iron Meteor Toss a bit more to master it.

Li Feng hadn't expected to get anything useful from this trip to the library.

He tucked the scroll under his arm, a small smile tugging at his lips.

'Not a bad haul… I should thank that senior brother for his advice,' he thought.

Li Feng then hurried back to the front table.

"Oh? You look quite happy. Did you find what you were looking for?" the male disciple smile and asked after seeing Li Feng's bright expression.

"Yes, it is all thanks to your advice, Senior Brother! It's not exactly a brick technique, but it's pretty much what I was looking for," Li Feng replied, his eyes shining with excitement.

Li Feng cupped his hands and bowed politely.

Even with his perverted tendencies, he still knew how to properly show gratitude.

"This junior's name is Li Feng. May I know your name, Senior Brother?"

"You can call me Wang Chen," Wang Chen replied with a smile, waving his hand dismissively.

"It's nothing much, Junior Brother Li. You should read more as it can help broaden your viewpoint on many things. Many techniques actually share similarities—" Wang Chen suddenly start giving some lecture and advice.

Yet, Li Feng simply listened with a smile, not minding the lecture at all.

If Lin Yu were here to see Li Feng actually paying careful attention to something about cultivation, he'd probably think he was dreaming.

After a while, Wang Chen finally finished speaking and cleared his throat.

"It seems I got a bit too excited and talked too much—I haven't had anyone seek my advice in quite some time."

"No worries, Senior Brother Wang. Your guidance is worth more than gold," Li Feng replied with a polite, flattering smile.

"Haha, you're exaggerating too much," Wang Chen laughed, waving his hand. "Well, I won't take up any more of your time. Just make sure to return the scroll within a month."

After a few more polite words, Li Feng left the library, with a bright expression on his face.

'Ah, such a good senior brother… Come to think of it, this sect really does have a lot of kind senior brothers and senior sisters,' he thought.

Li Feng grinned as he recalled Senior Brother Lin, who seemed to care for him in his own way....perhaps a little too much.

Then he thought of the two senior sisters he had grown close to, one who may appear cold and distant on the outside but had already softened toward him on the inside, and the other who seemed to crave his attention constantly, always wanting to be near him and seeking his praise.

'I didn't join the wrong sect', Li Feng continued walking with a smile, his steps stay light and relax.

Then his expression suddenly got brightened even more as he spotted a familiar silhouette just ahead who seem to be waiting for someone.

Excitement bubbled up inside him, as he called out,.with voice full of joy, and hurrying his step toward her.

"Senior Sister Yue!"
