"Let's head back." Gu Sheng sheathed the Mystical Sky Sword and spoke to the Yaochi Saintess.

The Yaochi Saintess nodded. The two departed from Sky Sword Mountain and returned to the Yaochi Palace. Sitting across from one another, the Yaochi Saintess gazed at Gu Sheng with curiosity sparkling in her eyes.

"Gu Sheng, how did you manage to upgrade the Mystical Sky Sword?" she couldn't help but ask.

Gu Sheng smiled faintly and began recounting his experiences at Duo Ri Ridge, explaining how he harnessed the pure yang energy and dragon aura found there to refine the Mystical Sky Sword.

The Yaochi Saintess listened intently, her admiration for Gu Sheng growing even deeper.

The two talked for a long time, only retiring to their rooms to rest as night fell.

Having not seen Su Ling for a long while, Gu Sheng decided to visit the Heavenly Dao Sect to see her.

The next day, as Gu Sheng was preparing to head out, he coincidentally ran into Ji Yewei.

The two journeyed together.

"Your family sent people to kill me again!"

Gu Sheng couldn't understand why the Ji family was so fixated on eliminating him, to the point of attempting harm over and over again.

"Ah, the Ji family elders are always so self-righteous!" Ji Yewei said, exasperated. Their underhanded tactics to prevent her from associating with Gu Sheng left her frustrated.

Ji Yewei had already severed ties with Gu Sheng for quite some time, but upon hearing of yet another attempt by the Ji family to kill him, she had a realization.

It didn't matter whether she stayed with Gu Sheng or not; the Ji family would still try to kill him. So why should she torment herself and waste her effort?

Arriving at the Heavenly Dao Sect, the two were warmly welcomed. Jiang Yichen and Su Ling came out to greet them.

Sunlight pierced through the clouds, illuminating the majestic gates of the Heavenly Dao Sect. Gu Sheng and Ji Yewei walked side by side through the solemn, imposing entrance, stepping into this Holy Land of the cultivation world.

"Brother Jiang, Su Ling, it's been a while!" Gu Sheng waved in greeting, his face radiant with deep camaraderie.

Jiang Yichen smiled subtly, his gaze shifting between Gu Sheng and Ji Yewei. Picking up on some unspoken nuances, he gracefully said, "Brother Gu, your arrival truly elevates the Heavenly Dao Sect's prestige. Miss Yewei, welcome to the Heavenly Dao Sect."

Ji Yewei nodded elegantly in response, her luminous eyes gleaming with curiosity and anticipation for the unknown.

Su Ling, delighted, ran forward and tugged at Gu Sheng's sleeve. "Gu Sheng, you've finally come! Let me take you to explore the sect's hidden realms!"

"Sure, I was just thinking about that." Gu Sheng replied with a grin.

Seeing this, Jiang Yichen tactfully suggested, "Miss Yewei, if you don't mind, let me show you around the Heavenly Dao Sect instead."

"Thank you, Mr. Jiang." Ji Yewei bowed in gratitude and departed alongside Jiang Yichen.

Meanwhile, Su Ling led Gu Sheng toward another direction, enthusiastically introducing the sect's various wonders and mysterious chambers. Amid light-hearted banter, the two arrived before a solitary peak.

This solitary peak was Zhuo Peak.

It stood silently amidst the misty clouds, resembling a stack of mountains layered upon one another, or a massive ripple spreading outward in concentric waves, exuding a profound aura as if encapsulating a hidden secret technique.

"Gu Sheng, look at Zhuo Peak—it is one of the treasured locations of our sect." Su Ling pointed at the solitary peak and explained.

Gu Sheng fixed his gaze on Zhuo Peak, sensing a faint divine resonance emanating from its depths. Drawn by the mystic presence, he couldn't help but step toward the peak to experience it more closely.

As he entered Zhuo Peak's vicinity, the resonance grew more distinct. Gu Sheng felt as though he were being drawn into an enigmatic realm, faintly perceiving an essence akin to "repetition" within the energy.

Wasting no time, he sat cross-legged, closed his eyes, and began to meditate. The surrounding landscape seemed to play out before him in layers, rippling outward like waves.

This scene was detected by the Divine Sense of Zhuo Peak's Peak Master, Li Ruoyu, whose eyes flickered with a trace of surprise. The reclusive Peak Master personally appeared and approached Gu Sheng.

"Young friend, what are you feeling?" Li Ruoyu asked gently.

Gu Sheng opened his eyes to look at Li Ruoyu and replied with respect, "Senior, I seem to sense a power of repetition. It's like endless waves, layer upon layer, resonating infinitely."

Li Ruoyu's eyes gleamed with approval upon hearing this. Nodding slightly, he remarked, "Indeed, that's precisely the essence Zhuo Peak embodies. For you to grasp this so quickly is truly remarkable."

Gu Sheng smiled humbly and said, "It's all thanks to the opportunity provided by your Zhuo Peak, Senior."

The two exchanged smiles, an unspoken rapport forming between them. Li Ruoyu recognized that this young man was extraordinary and might even represent the future hope of the Heavenly Dao Sect.

Gu Sheng, meanwhile, silently resolved to immerse himself in understanding this resonance, integrating it into his cultivation practice.

He sat in meditation below Zhuo Peak, closing his eyes to deepen his connection with the repetitive divine resonance.

Time seemed frozen in this moment, leaving only Gu Sheng and Zhuo Peak in mysterious communion.

Standing quietly, Li Ruoyu guarded the young cultivator, fully aware of the limitless potential that lay ahead for him.

Upon learning that Gu Sheng was meditating near Zhuo Peak, Ji Yewei hurried over.

Seeing Gu Sheng deep in meditation, she instinctively lightened her steps, afraid of disturbing him.
