The Tathāgata Must Fail

Chapter 436: Overcoming Everything

Lady Rakshasa knelt in Shuilian Cave.

"Rise."

Sun Wukong looked at her slightly shivering body: "Are you very nervous?"

Lady Rakshasa shook her head and stood up.

She wasn't nervous, just a bit flustered.

This was the first time Sun Wukong had called her over for questioning, and it was a hurdle she had to overcome.

"Come with me."

Sun Wukong led her out of Shuilian Cave.

"I ask you, what is that great serpent outside the Three Realms?"

Sun Wukong asked: "What is its relation to the Asura Realm?"

"Do you mean Zhu Long? That is our master."

Lady Rakshasa hesitated for a moment but still answered: "It wants to enter the Three Realms, and the Asura Clan will help it, so it doesn't eat us."

"I see."

Sun Wukong had already guessed as much, so he wasn't surprised.

The two walked onto the main street, and Lady Rakshasa noticed that the crowd on the street naturally parted to the sides, leaving a clear path for them to pass through.

Yet the crowd did not seem to notice anything.

What kind of Immortal Law is this?

She was shocked internally.

Sun Wukong had made them invisible without any trace of casting a spell.

But if it was just an ordinary invisibility technique, the crowd wouldn't be unable to hear them talking, let alone part way without noticing anything.

This eerie scene made Sun Wukong's power seem even more fearsome in Lady Rakshasa's mind.

"So..."

Sun Wukong continued to ask: "Aside from the great serpent, what other threats are there outside the Three Realms?"

"This..."

Lady Rakshasa was stunned, unsure whether to answer or not.

"You said Zhu Long wants to enter the Three Realms, for what reason?"

Sun Wukong asked indifferently: "Is it also to avoid some threat?"

Lady Rakshasa looked at him in disbelief.

She hesitated for a moment but ultimately nodded: "Yes."

Lady Rakshasa told Sun Wukong there was an even more terrifying entity beyond the Three Realms.

This answer was the same as what the World Venerable had said.

Everything in Sun Wukong's mind connected.

The two walked for a while longer, and Lady Rakshasa couldn't hold back any longer.

"Your Majesty, I have a question."

She asked.

"Speak."

"Have you always known where I am?"

Lady Rakshasa asked.

"Yes."

Sun Wukong nodded.

A sense of fear rose in Lady Rakshasa's heart.

Sun Wukong had always known her whereabouts; he could have directly coerced her for information but chose to let her speak voluntarily.

This is truly the Heavenly Emperor. The Asura Realm simply can't be his enemy.

The two came to Liufu Island.

"Two hundred years ago, there was nothing here."

Sun Wukong said.

Lady Rakshasa looked around.

Two hundred years ago, Liufu Island did not exist.

But now not only did it exist, but it also had transformed greatly compared to ten years ago.

New buildings could be seen all over the island, various Spiritual Objects flying and shuttling among the crowd, keeping the streets clean and tidy.

"It's truly an unimaginable miracle."

Lady Rakshasa said.

"This is just the beginning."

Sun Wukong replied, renovation was continuing everywhere, with no sign of stopping.

He brought Lady Rakshasa to a bun shop.

A man was making buns.

"This is..."

Lady Rakshasa suddenly felt an inexplicable connection between her and the man.

The man also seemed to sense something and suddenly looked up at her.

Seeing no one around, he curiously furrowed his brow and leaned down to continue making buns.

"This is your father."

Sun Wukong said.

The Asura girl was startled: "Father King?"

She looked carefully at the man; although his appearance had changed, the fluctuation in his soul was undoubtedly the same.

"Father King!"

The Asura girl's face lit up with joy, eager to walk over.

But after taking just two steps, she found herself restrained by a force, unable to move.

"He has a new life, you don't need to interfere."

Sun Wukong walked over to her and said.

The Asura girl could only watch as the man finished making the buns and passed them to a female demon to steam.

The man and the female demon worked while happily chatting.

"Father King..."

The Asura girl watched for a long time, understanding more and more.

The man's beaming smile suggested he might be happier than in his previous life.

The force Sun Wukong had placed on her gradually disappeared without her noticing.

The Asura girl calmed down and bowed to Sun Wukong: "Thank you, Heavenly Emperor, for finding my father."

This was what she had been most concerned with in her heart.

"No need."

Sun Wukong shook his head and said: "You are a person of the Three Realms, naturally, you're also my subject."

The Asura girl looked at him.

She had long heard that Sun Wukong was down-to-earth, a person who treated others with kindness, but had not expected him to be this amicable.

Such people were almost nowhere to be found in the Asura Realm.

"Come help me in the future."

Sun Wukong said to the Asura girl: "Since the Asura Realm is one of the Six Paths, it will eventually return to the Three Realms."

The Asura girl asked Sun Wukong: "Your Majesty, aren't you worried about a rebellion from the Asura Clan?"

"The spiritual energy of the Asura Realm is about to vanish, they won't be capable of much."

Sun Wukong declared.

He had once visited the Asura Realm; it was barren and poor, nothing but war.

The Asura people were not a threat to him; if utilized well, they could actually be an asset.

Moreover, they were natural warriors, with astonishing learning abilities, and the Asura girl had proven that.

"I need the Asura Clan to help resist the great calamity of the Three Realms."

Sun Wukong stated: "Of course, that requires them to be obedient."

The Asura girl felt a shiver.

Sun Wukong was kind but not foolish.

She very well knew that if the Asura Clan set their minds to oppose Sun Wukong, he would decisively strike them down.

Yet, the Asura girl had little sympathy for her kinsfolk.

She was just curious why Sun Wukong was so determined to leave the Three Realms.

"Heavenly Emperor, why not stay in the Three Realms?"

The Asura girl asked: "If you stay in the Three Realms, you wouldn't have to face the great calamity."

Everyone knew that Sun Wukong intended to leave the Three Realms.

The Three Realms were so wonderful, like a dream, and the Lady Rakshasa couldn't understand why Sun Wukong wanted to leave.

"I want to know more things."

Sun Wukong answered the Asura girl: "I often think, Immortals have nearly eternal lives, why not venture to further places."

The Asura girl was surprised by his response.

No one had ever had such thoughts; the Immortals were content with their lot.

But Sun Wukong was different.

He disliked stagnation.

The Asura girl was somewhat impressed.

"But I don't know what I should do."

She wanted to accept Sun Wukong's invitation but didn't know what she ought to do.

"I will keep moving forward, no matter when or where, I will be ahead."

Sun Wukong declared: "You, and others, don't need to think too much, just follow behind me."

The Asura girl looked at Sun Wukong, with his resolute and clear proclamation, embodying the bearing a Heavenly Emperor should possess.

Standing at the forefront, it seemed like he could overcome all hardships and difficulties.

This was the true Lord of the Three Realms.

The Asura girl touched her chest; her heart was beating excitedly.

She knelt down joyfully: "I'm willing to serve Your Majesty."
