Chapter 220: Void Spider Maggs (Part 2)

Ron tasted a bite and nodded in approval: "The timing is just right, crispy on the outside, tender inside, better than last time."

Upon hearing this evaluation, Lilia's eyes lit up, and a delighted smile appeared on her face.

This attention to detail and pursuit of perfection is precisely the most valuable trait of her character.

"By the way, teacher," as Lilia poured tea for Ron, she asked:

"Is today's afternoon experiment proceeding as scheduled? I've prepared all the materials."

"Yes, as planned." He nodded: "How's the practice of the purification technique going?"

"The final inspection has been completed, and the error is within the acceptable range."

Lilia answered briskly, and the professional training during this period made her increasingly adept in her role as an experimental assistant.

Ron nodded in satisfaction and continued to enjoy his breakfast.

After the meal, he took a tour around the workshop, inspecting the operation of various facilities.

Each inspection like this would evoke a peculiar sense of satisfaction in his heart.

This workshop is his first true "home" in this world, with every corner infused with his hard work and wisdom.

From the precise instruments in the Alchemy Laboratory to the various distillation devices in the Magic Potion Workshop;

From the Protective Array of the small practice field to the flourishing herb garden in the backyard...

Everywhere reflects its owner's ultimate pursuit of detail.

Walking to the backyard, Ron saw Ailan watering those plants.

The vines gently stroked each plant, as if communicating with them.

"Master." Ailan noticed Ron's arrival, turned and greeted him, her emerald green eyes sparkling with joy.

"How's the growth?" Ron inquired, his gaze sweeping over the herbs.

"Very good, especially the seedlings you've modified, their adaptation speed to the environment has exceeded expectations."

Ailan pointed to an area specially isolated, where a few oddly colored plants were growing.

Their leaves appeared unnaturally deep purple, shimmering slightly in the sunlight.

"We need to strengthen monitoring, immediately isolate and handle any signs of abnormal mutation." Ron instructed.

Any runaway Abyssal Plant could potentially cause widespread pollution and destruction.

"Understood, Master. I have been closely monitoring their Energy Fluctuation." Ailan replied respectfully.

Afterwards, Ron went to check on Dale's training progress.

The Little Sea Siren was practicing the Water Control Technique in the pool.

Her movements were becoming increasingly fluid, able to condense a large mass of water into various complex shapes, even imparting them simple motion paths.

"Master!" Seeing Ron, Dale leaped excitedly from the water, her silver long hair glistening in the sunlight:

"Look at my new skills!"

She swiped her hands through the air, and immediately dozens of water columns rose up from the water.

Then quickly condensed into a water wall, which finally broke down into countless Water Arrows, shooting towards the intended target.

The whole process was smooth and fluid, showcasing the Little Sea Siren's delicate control over the Water Element.

"Nice progress." Ron nodded appreciatively:

"But the movement during transformation could be more concise to reduce energy consumption."

Dale nodded earnestly and immediately tried to adjust her actions according to Ron's suggestions.

This is the daily life of the workshop—peaceful and fulfilling, with everyone persistently improving in their positions.

Walking through the corridor, Ron silently contemplated the countdown to the Star Ring Convergence.

Everything is proceeding according to plan, with his preparations more than halfway completed, leaving only to await the arrival of that crucial moment.

"Official Wizard..."

That will be the real starting point of his rise in this world, marking the beginning of a new phase.

......

Abyss Sixth Layer, "Maze Domain."

The sky here—if it can be called a sky—

is exhibiting a nauseating dark purple color, occasionally slashed by glaring scarlet lightning, illuminating the intricate maze structure below.

The maze is not static, but constantly writhing and transforming, resembling the innards of some massive creature.

The walls are comprised of a substance seemingly like rock yet soft as flesh, covered with tiny holes that sporadically emit a glowing gas.

These gases form complex patterns in the air, which then swiftly dissipate.

The ground is a sticky black substance, each step producing an unsettling sucking sound, as if something is attempting to devour the stomper's soul.

At a corner of the maze, a cluster of black mist gradually condensed, forming a humanoid outline.

That is the main body of "Mr. Holy Disc."

Unlike the avatar killed by Lady Allen at the Bloodline Altar, this body is stronger and more deformed.

Half of his face has completely melted, transforming into a mass of writhing flesh.

Upon which dozens of varying sized eyes opened, each one glimmering with a deranged light.

The other half, however, retained human features, with pale skin and sharp eyes.

The right side of his body had completely deformed, the arm elongated thrice over, with fingertips turning into sharp Bone Blades;

While the left side barely maintained human form, but was covered with countless tiny black Runes, like some parasitic creatures wriggling under the skin.

The monster laboriously stood up from the ground, spitting a mouthful of filthy black liquid, a flash of pain in his eyes.

"Damned Allen..."

Mr. Holy Disc cursed in a hoarse and unpleasant voice: "Didn't expect that half-wasted old hag still holds such formidable power."

His voice was terribly raspy, and with each word spoken, those deformed eyes twitched violently.
