A deep red light tore across the sky. Bosco roared, "It's Romino — everyone, lower your gaze!"Teachers in every arena shouted the same order, but Auren did not bow his head.
Romino's presence scanned every ring like a blade. His mission was clear: kill Auren and everyone involved in the Ramuza incident—Vivi and Raman excepted. The order carried the weight of an old man in the justice office under King Velmore. Romino's sharp eyes locked onto Arena 2, where Auren stood beside Bosco. In an instant, his whole red form dove down toward Auren like a missile — the air itself screamed.
"They found him," Bosco breathed.
Romino struck the arena without warning. A heavy, crimson light slammed into the space; his punch tore toward Auren with the force of a war hammer. Bosco swung his red staff up and met the blow — stick against fist, a catastrophic clash that rolled through the plateau. Boom. A humongous energy erupted; the shockwave sent Auren flying into the wall. Every child nearby felt the same brutal impact. The platform around Bosco shattered into jagged stone.
Luna Rome — a dark ring — unfurled as Auren carved out a domain around them. Lunatic Auren, Stage Three: the air tightened, colder and darker. Auren rose, gripping the blue-glowing sword Lyrax had given him. He charged toward Romino. Romino shifted aside like a shadow and snarled, "Stay away from him, kid!" Bosco ordered, but Auren's voice cut through with icy calm.
"He's come to kill me," Auren said. "There's no point in holding back. Earlier, you asked how strong I am. Now's the perfect time to show you."
Romino laughed like thunder. "Auren Ryuki — King Velmore gave you shelter to live, not to slaughter the saints of this city. That is an unforgivable sin."
Auren's smirk was cold. "Saints? The ones who kill children, who are tied to Vaiven Tideborn — are they saints? They committed crimes under your noses. I only gave them their fate. What right do you have to call them saints?"
Romino's face hardened. "I — Romino, High Elite of Baku City — will cut your throat right here, right now." His gaze was deadly, a hunting blade glinting in his eyes. The arena held its breath; every heartbeat was a drum before the kill.
"Not under my watch," Bosco's voice cut through the chaos — calm, cold, and edged with ffireHe stepped forward, staff gripped tight. "He's my student. And you've disrupted my class — that, Romino, is also an unforgivable sin."
Romino smirked, his red aura flaring with cruel amusement. "Oh, is that so? Sorry, Mister Bosco." He mock-bowed. "But I don't care."
"That's enough!" Bosco roared, and the ground cracked under his leap. In a flash, he was in the air, swinging his staff down. Romino countered — a midair spin and a blazing red kick that erupted into a shockwave. The energy slammed into Bosco, hurling him into the wall with a heavy thmm! But even as he crashed, Bosco's domain still pulsed — the Luna Rome remained, a curtain of darkness holding steady.
Auren surged forward, fury burning in his eyes. Romino shifted, appearing right before him, throwing a punch straight for his chest—
"Huh?" Romino blinked.
Auren had vanished.
From the shadow behind him, Auren's whisper sliced the silence. "You're under my domain."
He swung from behind — Romino barely bent in time, the blade missing by inches. Auren twisted mid-step, his leg rising — boom! A clean kick smashed across Romino's jaw, launching him out of the Luna Rome. He crashed through a wall, rubble scattering. Auren emerged from the domain, breath heavy, sword glowing an icy blue.
The kids stood frozen, staring wide-eyed."He… he kicked a High Elite?" a girl gasped. "Is he that powerful?"
Romino's roar shook the arena, a crimson wave spiraling around him. His molten aura ignited into a searing blade — a weapon forged of fire and rage. He charged Auren, their swords colliding with a thunderclap. Sparks rained. But Romino's strength overwhelmed him — Auren was pushed back, slammed into the wall.
Romino grabbed his collar, sneering, and flung him across the arena. Then again. And again. Each throw a brutal thud, until blood trickled from Auren's mouth.
Midair, as Romino raised his blade for the final strike—
Boom!
A massive red staff crashed down from above, pinning him into the ground. Dust erupted. Bosco stood there, veins glowing faintly with energy.Another boom. And another. Each strike heavier, angrier.
But Romino caught the staff in his blood-slick hand, grinning through the pain. He swung it back with monstrous strength, smashing Bosco into the dirt.
When he looked up again, his eyes met Dax, Nyra, Nova — and Vivi standing just behind them.
They froze.
Dax stepped forward despite his stomach wound, breathing hard. "Nova, Nyra, Vivi—be careful. He's coming."
In a blur, Romino lunged. Dax's fist transfigured into a glowing titan punch, a hit strong enough to crack stone—No damage.
Romino barely flinched.
Nova raised his hands, summoning spectral energy. A dragon-shaped construct burst forth, roaring toward Romino in a swirl of silver and flame.
"What kind of ability is that?!"The other kids gasped, their eyes wide — caught between awe and terror as the battlefield exploded with light and fury.
Romino raised his arm toward the sky — his crimson aura flaring like a dying sun.
"Shooting Horizon!"
Countless beams of red light erupted from his body like cannon fire, each one blazing through the air with ear-tearing force. They struck Nova's spectral dragon mid-flight — boom, boom, boom! — ripping through its ethereal body. The mighty dragon howled, its canvas form torn apart, colors dripping from its wings like liquid fire before it collapsed into the ground with a shattering roar.
Dust swirled. And out of that fading brilliance—
Two more figures emerged.
Fenra — the spectral wolf with fur of smoke and lightning.Zarkis — the serpent of shadows, coiled with molten gold in his scales.
Both charged toward Romino in perfect sync, a dance of fury and instinct.
Zarkis struck first, his massive jaws sinking into Romino's chest with a thunderous crack!
Romino didn't flinch."Heavy Shot!"
His fist ignited — blood-red, pulsing with dense energy. He swung upward, smashing Zarkis straight in the skull. Boom! The snake's head exploded into mist, dissolving into thin air.
Fenra howled in rage, lunging for Romino's throat — but before he could reach, a wave of pink light swept across the arena.
Maira had stepped forward. Her eyes glowed rose-gold. Her dance began — graceful, hypnotic, deadly.
"Beauty Paradise!" she whispered.
The ground beneath her shimmered into a rose-colored field, petals swirling, air thick with glittering mist. Within her domain, time seemed to bend — Romino's movements slowed, his steps heavy, his expression twisting in confusion.
"Huh… what's happening…?!" he snarled, straining against the invisible weight. "My body— it's slowing down!"
And in that heartbeat of delay—
Boom!
A massive shadow fell from above. Bosco descended, his staff crackling with furious energy.
"Dragon Twist!" he roared.
The staff spiraled down like a red comet, striking Romino's head with cataclysmic force. The ground beneath shattered, air rippling outward in a shockwave.
"You can't mess around here," Bosco growled, standing over the crater, eyes blazing with authority. "This is my classroom."
