We had lost our innocence and looked forward to find the burning tower where shadow spread to our hearts, the fire in our soul burnt, where stones were cast into the sea, light faded to dark, and where the Children of Leverith learned to love again. Our dreams carried us forth toward the flames and into the long night where our world forever changed. I was there when the tower burned, the day the one who gave me my voice sang for the last time. I carried her dream with me this far. This story is as much hers as it is mine.
