Upon hearing the familiar voice and address, Bai Ruyi abruptly looked up.

Seeing Wang Dahai, her mind buzzed, and she was dazed, unable to respond for a moment.

The middle-aged man forced a smile, "Ruyi, do you know him?"

"Um…"

"Mrs. Bai, it really is you! I thought I was seeing things. I just mentioned it to Mr. Liu, and he insisted I must have seen wrong, that it couldn't be you."

The middle-aged man suddenly panicked, his face twitching. Was her husband also here?

Bai Ruyi paused, then gave him a deep look, realizing what Wang Dahai was up to.
