Chapter 385

Wu Qiangwei was completely defenseless.

She really wanted to cry now, when had she ever been so embarrassed in her entire life!

If there had been a crack in the ground, she would have definitely crawled into it.

"Click!"

She looked up and saw Wang Dahai taking a photo of her with his mobile phone.

She grabbed a tissue, and while dabbing at her face with tears in her voice, she grumbled, "Wang Dahai, you jerk!"

When she finally managed to separate the noodles, she experienced what could only be described as a bitter pleasure.

This choking sensation forced the tears out of her eyes.

She ran into the washroom and quickly washed her face.

When she came back, she demanded with a dark face, "Give me the phone!"

Wang Dahai said with a smile, "Eat quickly, the noodles are going to be cold."

"The phone!"

"I've already deleted it."

"Give it to me!"

Seeing she was genuinely angry, Wang Dahai handed over the phone, "Look, I really deleted it."

She browsed through the album and indeed couldn't find it, which eased her mood slightly.

"Hmph!"

She bowed her head and ate her noodles quietly, but each time she thought about what had just happened, a wave of shame surged within her.

It was so disgraceful, so embarrassing.

She finished the bowl of noodles, savoring every last drop of the broth.

Wang Dahai tossed the bowls and chopsticks into the sink, then glanced at the time and said, "Remember to take your medicine on time. Call me if you need anything."

Wu Qiangwei didn't respond to him, she was still angry.

Just as she came downstairs and got in the car, Xu Xixi's call suddenly came through.

"Wang Dahai, you go stay at your woman's place tonight, my mom is coming over later."

"...Got it."

After hanging up, Wang Dahai's expression looked as if he had a toothache.

Am I being kicked out again?

Of course, it wasn't the same as last time.

Last time he was really kicked out, this time it was Xu Xixi's mother's visit.

He leaned in the car, not knowing where to go for the moment.

He sent a message to Bai Ruyi.

"What do you want to eat tonight?"

"I'm busy tonight."

"Not feeling well?"

Wang Dahai was a bit worried, Bai Ruyi hadn't had an accident again, had she?

Seemingly guessing his random worries, Bai Ruyi said, "Stop overthinking, my best friend's here, I've got to be with her these next few days."

"Wasn't overthinking, just anxious from not seeing you for a day."

"Then come over."

"Now?"

"Yes, I just got off work."

"I'll be right there!"

Overjoyed, Wang Dahai drove to the street near the school, and she was already waiting there when he arrived.

Bai Ruyi asked upon getting in the car, "Where to?"

Her question left him bewildered.

Bai Ruyi glanced at the time and said, "My friend's high-speed train is at half past six, we've got an hour and twenty minutes."

Hearing this, Wang Dahai immediately understood her meaning and without another word, he floored the accelerator.

Twenty minutes later, the car stopped under a railway bridge.

The place was deserted, the perfect spot for a secret rendezvous.

"Mrs. Bai, shall we go to the back?"

"Mhm."

Bai Ruyi's face flushed red as she opened the car door and moved with him to the back seat.

No sooner had she gotten into the car than Wang Dahai, impatient as ever, pulled her into his embrace, caressing and kissing her.

Bai Ruyi's whole body heated up from his kisses, reacting strongly.

With limited time, Wang Dahai wasted none of it, laying her across the back seat.

She was wearing a bodycon skirt and short-sleeved shirt that day, with flesh-colored stockings underneath.

Wang Dahai pulled the skirt down, rolled the stockings to her calves, unbuttoned her shirt one by one, and lifted her bra to bury his head.

After nuzzling and kissing for a while, he slowly made his way down, pulled her little intimates up to her thighs, and kissed her tenderly.

The car was cramped, truly inconvenient, so Wang Dahai turned her over, cradling her bottom as he kissed it.

Bai Ruyi was kissed until she moaned continuously, trembling with pleasure.

Wang Dahai was struggling to hold back and lifted his head, saying, "Mrs. Bai."

Bai Ruyi turned to look at him, knowing what he wanted to do, and hummed lightly, "No, you haven't passed the test here yet."

Wang Dahai gritted his teeth, understanding she was referring to the suit incident.

Though the issue had been explained and she had forgiven him, she hadn't quite let it go.

She was deliberately keeping him on tenterhooks.

Wang Dahai didn't say anything further and buried his head again, vengefully increasing the force.

"Ah~"

Half an hour later, the two emerged from the car.

"Take me to the high-speed train station."

All the way to the station, Bai Ruyi's face was adorned with a smile, her cheeks slightly flushed, as radiant as a lotus flower emerging from the water.

After dropping her off at the high-speed train station, Wang Dahai grabbed a bite to eat and received another call from Lin Wanqiu.

"How's auntie?"

"She has a fever, but she's taken medicine. I'll go check on her again later."

"Okay, thanks for your trouble."

"It's nothing."

After hanging up the somewhat distant call, an idea suddenly popped into Wang Dahai's head.

Why not spend the night at Wu Qiangwei's place?

No, that's not right, what do you mean spend the night?

I am taking care of her.

An hour later, his car stopped downstairs, and Wang Dahai trudged up to the eighth floor.

"Knock knock."

Inside there was still no sound.

He entered the code to unlock the door and as soon as he stepped inside, a pungent, sour stench hit his nose.

It wasn't until he reached the living room that he saw the mess next to the sofa—a pool of vomit.

Wu Qiangwei was lying on the sofa, sleeping weakly.

After dealing with the vomit and airing out the room through the windows,

Wang Dahai then went over to check on her.

Her little face was still flushed, and when he touched her forehead, she was still feverish, though less so than during the day.

"Wake up," he softly roused Wu Qiangwei.

"Wang Dahai, why have you come again?"

The words she uttered made Wang Dahai feel irritated.

The woman seemed to have a natural talent for sarcasm.

"I came to check on you," Wang Dahai replied, refusing to argue with a sick person. "Did you take your medicine tonight?"

"Not yet."

"I figured as much."

Wang Dahai dug out the medicine and brought it to her lips, "Open your mouth."

This time, she was cooperative and opened her mouth.

He pushed the medicine in and followed it with a small sip of water.

After she swallowed it, she closed her eyes and went back to sleep.

While she slept, Wang Dahai swiftly tidied up the living room.

Once everything was in order, he went to the kitchen and cooked a few simple dishes.

After finishing cooking, he woke Wu Qiangwei saying, "Time to eat."

"I'm not hungry, you eat," she turned over, intending to carry on sleeping.

Wang Dahai served up some rice and dished some food, then sat by the sofa and said, "Sit up, I'll feed you."

Wu Qiangwei's nose twitched as she smelled the aroma of the food and she didn't resist any longer.

She sat up and leaned back on the sofa.

Wang Dahai scooped a mouthful of rice and picked up a chopstick full of food.

Once she had finished the bowl of rice, Wang Dahai handed her the thermometer. "Take your temperature."

"My body aches." Even though some of her energy had returned, she still felt too weak to even lift her arm.

Wang Dahai didn't speak. Instead, he took the thermometer and slipped it under the blanket.

Wu Qiangwei turned her head slightly away, avoiding looking at him.

But the next moment,

she felt Wang Dahai's hand brush against her fullness.

Wang Dahai felt it too, her feverish body was burning hot like a furnace, and her fullness was like freshly steamed buns.

So soft and warm.

It sent a jolt through him, and he suddenly felt a stirring below.
