Chapter 378: The Final Battle For Bestia Is About To Begin

After preparations were finally complete, the groups divided and then immediately flew towards the directions they aimed for.

Team 1 immediately moved towards the empty seas, rushing underwater with the help of the Fishmen and Mermaid Immortal Cultivators that were guiding them, alongside the two Divine Primordial Beasts in their young states, after having consumed Anna's last gift, the crystals she obtained from her Quest Completion Rewards.

Yu Mingzhu, formerly the Will of the Heavenly Empress, rushed by their side, enveloping herself in a powerful Divine Aura of her own powers, which allowed her to move underwater and literally fly through the sea.

Accompanying them were three of my Egos, Uroboros, my Cosmic Ego nicknamed Transcendent, and the Yang Ego of the Heart of Hope. I chose these three as they were very powerful and could secure the safety of the rest.

With them also went Aquatic-adapted Machines, which Zero One found in a battle fleet that ended up joining us after she talked with them and overwrote their forced mission. They were shaped like giant metallic sharks combined with submarines and could travel through water very quickly too.

Because the Primordial Beasts couldn't swim quite well, they carried them inside of their bodies as everyone finally set off.

"Then we'll get going. This mission is important, but it seems much easier than what you're going to go through," Yu Mingzhu said. "However, if it fails, then it means the entire plan could fail. I will make sure that isn't the case."

"Thank you, Yu," I said.

"Do your best, my daughter," said the Heavenly Empress.

"D-Daughter?!" She gasped, covering her beak in surprise after her creator's words.

"Well, I suppose I could call you that, right? You were born from me," my mother smiled. "Now do your best. Here, accept this last gift from me."

She gifted her a small golden ring with a white jewel imbued into it, which her daughter wore happily.

"This ring is…?"

"It'll help you; it is made with the last remaining fragment of the Crystalized Record I had found," the Heavenly Empress explained. "It cannot do anything for any of us, but due to your unique power, it could strengthen your abilities even more. I have also given one to Song."

"I-I see…" nodded Yu. "Thanks! I will make good use of it! Then! We shall begin! Everyone, let's move!"

"OOOHH!"

They roared in unison as they reached the ocean and immediately rushed underwater, swimming rapidly across the oceans as fast as possible. They had to move through hundreds of kilometers, pretty much swimming above the entire sunken continent, the only and also the biggest continent in the entire world of Bestia.

I was supervising them through my three Egos left with them, so if anything bad happens, I'll know and help them out as much as I possibly can to reach the Heaven Peak's ore mines as fast as possible.

The growth of the Primordial Beasts was one of our hopes for victory against the foes we'll fight…

Because thousands of robots weren't exactly the thing worrying us, but what was behind them and the one that had fallen and become a Demon King,

Those were the real threats.

"Team 2 and 3 will go together first, but once we break through the tree, we'll go our separate ways," said the Heavenly Demon. "Remember! Team 3 will only be composed of us Venerables, my son, and Fang Shuan; nobody else is allowed to engage against the Demon King, do you understand? I won't be held responsible if you go kill yourself in battle, and we will not waste our time and effort to save your lives if you jump to death recklessly. You've been warned."

"You didn't have to be so harsh…" I said, bumping his elbow a bit.

"Hmph, this is the only way to make some people understand, Anna," he sighed, looking into the distance. "However…"

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

He glanced back at everyone else, who seemed slightly sad their strength wasn't enough to match the largest threat.

"Once the battle stabilizes and our foes show everything they can do, those that have trained with Anna and have become our other disciples, such as Wai Tian, Yin Sheng, Sara, Zero One, and Zero Two, can join us." He said, sighing. "But nobody else! Even you damn Immortals, you're too weak, all of you. Without Anna's sponsorship and the Skills and Stats she grants, you're only going to get in the way."

"We get it, you damn crow!"

"Stop belittling us!"

"We're going to fight the robots, so we're working plenty!"

"Do the rest, please, and thank you."

The Demonic Cultivators laughed it off with their own ironic sense of humor; it was surprising how little they respected the Heavenly Demon compared to the Heavenly Empress.

"Damn bastards, they're getting cocky…" he groaned. "Once this is over, I'll have to rectify my position within the world, even if it takes beating the crap out of all of them so they know their place."

"Haaa… Seriously, you never change," the Heavenly Empress said. "Don't say such things in front of our son."

"Dad, I can help you beat the crap out of them too!" Song said happily.

"Is that so? Then it'll be easy!" laughed the Heavenly Demon.

Once the teams were composed, with Fang Shuan walking to my side rather timidly as he still didn't believe he was chosen to fight at our side, we were ready.

"Let's go."

We set out into the skies with everything we had.

We were too big of a team to hide from the enemy, so we were going to charge head-on without hesitation.

Moving from the islands to the tree was a long trip, though, but with the speed of our flight, it barely took two and a half minutes.

By then, the massive tree was finally within range, and gigantic at that.

The closer we got, the more I realized its sheer size and proportions.

It wasn't at all like the two previous ones we raided, nope.

It was gigantic, utterly massive.

Perhaps over a kilometer in height? No, more!

And above all else, it was also very wide, hundreds of meters of width.

Each branch was massive as well, spreading into the empty sky, glowing with luminescent blue neon lights.

After this long journey started with me being so clueless about everything it was finally reaching its climax with me confronting the origin of this world's demise.

I've learned so much from everyone here, my masters, my new friends, the people of this world, its history, and its past.

I don't think I've ever felt so absorbed in a world before, even after all the novels I've read.

This journey, even when it's about to end, will never be forgotten, and it shall always remain within my heart for as long as I live.

"Mother… I'm home."

I saw Zero One looking at the tree with much more intensity than any other person in here.

Her eyes glowed with a tinge of golden light as her hands were held tightly together, placed on her chest, her heart.

She bit her lips, as she seemed to be about to cry.

But she held her tears, remaining calm as she glanced at the majestic tree.

"So you really came from here?" I asked her.

"Yes…" she nodded. "And I'm finally back… Now to stop the one that birthed me. I still have so many questions. And I'll take this opportunity to ask her everything I need to learn."

"Good," I nodded. "Zero Two, make sure to support your sister, alright?"

"O-Of course!" Zero Two looked a bit spooked as her long black hair waved the moment I talked to her; her crimson eyes glaring at the tree, she was a bit intimidated. "I'll protect her."

"Good, that's all I could ever ask for," I nodded. "Now, Violet, Snow, and Shiro, you'll remain with Zero One, Wai Tian, Yin Sheng, and Zero Two, alright? Protect them and help them, but don't sacrifice yourselves either. I unfortunately cannot bring you along… But once this trial ends, you'll evolve, and I am sure that fact will change in the future."

"Krieeeehh!" Violet roared, full of energy, as if saying, "Leave it to me!".

"Kyuuuh…!" Shiro seemed a bit annoyed but nodded nonetheless, floating around cutely.

"Woof!" Snow barked like a dog despite being a wolf; cutely wagging his tail, he was ready.

"Good kids, you're such good kids," I hugged them all, kissing their foreheads. "I love you, my little companions. I don't want to leave you behind, so I'll also leave my Egos to help you. Be ready; there'll be a lot of background music, hehe."

As I giggled, robot armies appeared above the skies; as we approached and grew closer to the tree, this was inevitable.

Thousands of machines emerged, upgraded, stronger-looking versions of the generic flying drones, resembling massive ten-meter-big wasps.

Aside from them, there were larger hawk-like machines that reached twenty to thirty meters in height, and lastly, less than a hundred Chinese dragon-like machines, each one fifty meters long or more.

The Mechanoids were pulling out all their trump cards now, showing off their upgraded, stronger machines right now.

It is as if they've also been preparing; I could tell from a mile away, honestly.

"Ready?!" I asked, my voice resonating through the skies.

"OOOOHHHHH!"

The alliance between the demonic and orthodox factions roared in unison, alongside my friends, companions, egos, and my undead, alongside the many machine friends we made along the way, the few thousand warriors that were willing to put their lives on the line for a brighter future.

"Then let's do this!" I said. "I trust all of you, and I believe that you can do it!"

As I said those slightly corny words, my Venerable Aura erupted from my body, unleashing pink and golden flames everywhere, covering everyone's bodies.

This was the power I had developed, a combination of my Privileges and powers as Little Sister, coupled with my Venerable Aura and the Power of Hope and Love.

"ELIMINATE ALL THOSE THAT DARE TO THREATEN THE GREAT TREE."

"INITIALIZING EXTERMINATION. ELIMINATE ALL LIFEFORMS."

The machines greeted us with a rain of thousands of red lasers coming from the sky.
