"You are not going to get anywhere moping around like this Avahni. What is so special about that human anyway?", Huo Liyu asked, fluttering around her green haired summoner. The nine-tailed crimson carp swam through the air around Avahni, softly brushing its warm red tail fins against her arms.
[Huo Liyu; Crimson Nine-Tailed Carp] was the second successful summon that Avahni had managed to manifest, although the third one that she had physically manifested. The crimson-coloured fish called itself the second successful summon, considering that Xochitl had not managed to reveal themselves without an additional catalyst to spark their rebirth.
It had quite the haughty personality, although seemed quite affectionate towards its summoner. Avahni treated the crimson-coloured fish with patience and temperament of an older sister figure watching over her younger sibling.
Avahni gently patted Huo Liyu. The infant ginseng king sitting beside the lutin suppressed an eye roll, seeing the annoyingly young creature lean in towards Avahni's hand, rolling about playfully while trying to distract her from the obvious.
Avahni gave the crimson-coloured fish a smile that did not quite reach her eyes. Traces of dark circles clung to the skin around her eyes, giving the impression that she had not slept in quite some time.
"Avahni is the best at patting me! No-one can compare to how cool and beautiful she is!" Huo Liyu cheered loudly but did not elicit a response from the lutin.
Ru Luan Di could not help but let out a sigh, seeing the nine-tailed carp try and impress her summoner, performing aerial acrobatics and minor amounts of fire manipulation hoping to attract her attention.
'I can understand that she might feel sad that the human is leaving, but I've been suggesting for her to do the same for the past week, hoping that she would search for Wonders or try an obtain Mortal Title Fragments! Avahni already has enough Mortal Title Fragments to create a Title, but she insists on waiting to begin its formation!' Ru Luan Di stifled his desire to tsk, glancing in the direction of a certain bodhi tree.
While Ru Luan Di had lost the majority of his abilities, he still had a few tricks up his sleeve. While he lacked the grandness of most tree summoning abilities, or the beautiful, yet dangerous appearance of most flower summoning abilities, the infant ginseng king possessed an unnatural level of control over the pieces of himself which he could feed to others.
He had yet to tell Avahni of this capability either, but was glad that he did not, using it examine the various types of spiritual energy emanating from the human known as Jon.
While he did not know the exact nature of the manifested abilities, Ru Luan Di could still feel different types of spiritual energy emanating from the fragments within the human. While it was true his limbs could be snapped off and fed to a willing target, infusing them with a powerful amount of lifeforce and fire natured spiritual energy, it was still Ru Luan Di who could control the rate of digestion and gradual release of his spiritual energy.
It would not last more than a month, given his mastery over his form and innate abilities, but that would change as Avahni advanced her Rank from Mortal to Knight.
'That human… I cannot believe he has managed to obtain five universal fragments within the first three weeks of the System Introduction. No doubt under the subtle guidance of that bodhi tree. How am I supposed to convince Avahni of integrating such a thing, when she also needs to use her task rewards on obtaining catalysts to summon her other abilities!' Ru Luan Di wanted to tear off his own limbs and beat his summoner with it. With the amount of strength his Mortal body could produce, it would be akin to slapping someone with a wet piece of lettuce.
Avahni also had yet to integrate the Wind Mana Core that Jon had given her either. Although her choice of Mana Cores were all basic elemental concepts, the overpronounced nature of her Source caused her to manifest more abilities with the Summon Trait, than the average person.
Her final two Mana Cores should be something similar, perhaps either a Light Mana Core or a Dark Mana Core to obtain a summon from born from the Ein Sof or Pandemonium. A Lightning Mana Core would not be too bad either nor would a Metal Mana Core all things considered.
Poking the side of his summoner, Ru Luan Di raised the Wind Mana Core in his hands towards Avahni, causing the green-haired lutin to lift her head peering at him with an uncharacteristically sad expression on her face.
"Just accept his request and join him in exploring the small realm. I do not doubt that the floresiensis called Wilheim will reject him. Both are the type that is attracted to strength and power. It would be good for you too, maybe even allowing you to find more fragments along the way," Ru Luan Di suggested.
The infant ginseng king thought he saw a flash of emotion through her eyes, watching as Avahni furrowed her brows, glaring at Ru Luan Di. The ginseng met her glare with an equally blank expression, before the lutin caved in and released out a loud sigh Her anger melting away as if ice underneath the warm sun.
The green-haired woman poked Ru Luan Di in the side, causing the ginseng to flinch, almost dropping the Wind Mana Core in its hands.
Both Huo Liyu and Ru Luan Di saw the corners of Avahni's mouth raise a fraction of an inch, watching as their summoner picked up the Wind Mana Core in her hands, gazing at its faint green lustre.
"Just to be clear, I am not mad with Jon for wanting to leave this place," Avahni announced, causing the ginseng and carp to share a glance. The former would have raised an eyebrow if ginsengs had eyebrows to begin with.
"I am mad, because Jon thought that he could give away all these precious fragments and Mana Cores, without thinking that we would return the favour!" the lutin stood up, green hair fluttering in the breeze manifested through the Wind Mana Core in her hand.

Ru Luan Di hid a grumble, slapping his hand onto his forehead.
'Of course, my summoner is an idiot. Why was I even worried in the first place if this was the reason why she was mad?' the ginseng turning towards his fellow summon, watching as Huo Liyu performed backflips for Avahni in the air.
"You're completely right Avahni! That silly human, how could he think to run away without first getting a taste of his own medicine!" the nine-tailed crimson carp replied gleefully.
Ru Luan Di thought about severing all his limbs off and ending it right then and there.
'Like attracts like I guess," he thought to himself.
Avahni placed her hands on her hips, manifesting her status page with a thought. Through the guidance and knowledge of various fragments and the abilities they could manifest, given to her from Ru Luan Di and Huo Liyu, Avahni had decided to continue integrating bestial type fragments hoping for additional summoning abilities.

The lutin nodded, glancing over the fourteen abilities she had in her possession. Despite both Roland and Lily, her nickname for Hou Liyu, trying to convince her to integrate more universal fragments, Avahni had drawn the line, leaving just two slots in each Mana Core for abilities that would not guarantee one with the Summon Trait.
Considering that she had integrated both the Fragment Of Mind and the Fragment Of Spirit, it left two slots for additional abilities after she integrated the remaining four universal fragments.
Her newest ability, [Ler Setanta; Incarnation Of The Hunt] was something that both Ru Luan Di and Huo Liyu were excited about.
"Is there something about the Fragment Of Ichthyosaur that interests you two so much", the green-haired woman asked, tilting her head to the side.
The nine-tailed carp fluttered her tail fins, as if to nod.
"Ler Setanta is a legend Avahni! I cannot believe your luck! He is the one who received the Title Of Incarnation Of The Hunt, before even becoming a Knight!". Huo Liyu stated excitedly.
Avahni still did not seem that convinced, crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes. While some abilities could certainly be more powerful than others, Avahni had yet to see something extraordinarily powerful.
Ru Luan Di shared a look with Huo Liyu, the latter shaking her tail fins, knowing that their summoner did not understand how powerful her own [Hold Thy Hand Child, Green Is The Colour Of Our Lineage] was.
Neither the green-haired lutin and the Crimson Nine-Tailed Carp, noticed the changes in Ru Luan Di's expression upon hearing the familiar name. For a moment, not even a fraction of a second, the Liver Of The Ginseng King unconsciously clenched his fist, frowning as if the name brought up an unpleasant memory.
Avahni just listened to Huo Liyu, the little carp unable to conceal the excitement in her tone.
"In the Realm Of Abyssal Blue, there existed a world enveloped in ice and water. The sheer size of this planet was enough for it to attract the attention of various interested parties after the complete integration of the 19th universe. However, given the enormous distance between this planet and the nearest star, it would have been an undertaking that bankrupted most families and organizations. One family did desire the planet, enough for them to move the entirety of their younger generation to it, using it as a training ground to temper their young".
"Despite the fact that this was a barren white coloured world, the geothermal vents underneath the oceans and seas allowed for life to flourish beneath the waves of this planet. Aquatic lifeforms of all shapes and sizes were born within the ocean. Vast coral reefs stretching several thousand kilometres up coastlines and around archipelagos. Immense underwater filter-feeders capable of reaching several hundred metres in length, stomach acids powerful enough to devour rocks and stones".
Huo Liyu took a deep breath, a hint of awe and respect contained within her tone.
"And at the top of the food chain was a beast so strong that it was given a complete Mortal Title without ever having to integrate a single fragment. Over thirty metres in length, it was abnormally large even for its own species. Ler Setanta was unrivalled throughout the dozens of oceans and seas that littered its home world and was even able to devour coral reefs and kelp forests due to its unique genetic adaptations".
"This lone beast devoured countless young geniuses from this family, integrating compatible Mana Cores such as the Water Mana Core, Ice Mana Core, Darkness Mana Core, Hunt Mana Core, and Immortal Mana Core. Combined with the fact that it also awakened the Ichthyosaur Mana Core, which, at the time was one of the new concepts introduced in the 19th universe, made this single creature an extraordinary force to be reckoned with".
"It was said that Ler Setanta eventually exceeded the limitations of Lordship and Barony. There were rumours, that before his disappearance sometime during the 23rd integration, Ler Setanta had obtained apotheosis and became a God!".
