The Lich of Glory Knight Spirit: Moving towards Krimasha!

Chapter 5: Fifth Squad Part 2

"So... you have no plan, no idea at all?" Erwin hesitated.

"Why should I have any ideas? I'm just here to assist you, why should I have ideas?" Simon sneered.

"Uh..."

Well, the logic in that statement is hard to argue with, leaving Erwin speechless.

At this moment, even though a Lich doesn't exactly have eyes, Erwin could still feel deep disdain from those two balls of soul fire.

Sweat slowly dripped down from his forehead, his scalp tingling, truly tingling.

"Ahem... I thought you were sent here to guide me."

"You're already the captain of the Fifth Squad, what guidance do you need? Technically, your rank is higher than mine. At least within the Silver Moon Knight Order's hierarchy it is. Although the White Bone Holy Light Court hasn't officially given you a title yet."

"Uh... really?"

"Isn't it?"

"Well, I just found out..."

"You're already a mature squad leader, you should know how to form a squad yourself."

"I've just taken office... only eight hours ago."

"Eight hours is already quite a while. Bruto took only ten minutes to complete the formation of the Fourth Squad. Carl, the blockhead, and Camilla didn't take more than half an hour either. And you still need someone's guidance?"

"Alright..." Erwin looked awkward, thought for a moment, then seriously asked: "Have you met Miss Yilin? I mean Duke Beisher."

"Why would I need to meet her?" The soul fire in Simon's eye sockets curved into a question mark: "Forming the Silver Moon Knight Fifth Squad is our Silver Moon Knight's own business, more precisely your business, she isn't part of the Silver Moon Knight Order."

"Do you mean... I must rely on my own strength to form the Fifth Squad?"

"Um... That's probably what I mean? You're not going to tell me you don't even know how to form a squad and need to seek help from others, are you?"

Now Erwin not only had a tingling scalp but also a chilling spine.

Silence, and long silence again.

The wind gently blew, shaking the green leaves by the riverbank. Under the night sky, the river surface shimmered.

In the distance, a child who had opened his mouth wide due to Simon's appearance still kept his mouth wide open.

"You can think slowly, no rush. After all, time is the most inexpensive thing in this world." Simon touched his bald skull and said: "But before that, shouldn't you settle me down first? Although Liches don't sleep, they do need personal space."

"Oh... Oh! Okay! No problem!" Erwin hurriedly put on his helmet and mounted his horse.

A gust of wind blew, Simon floated straight to Erwin's side.

Riding the horse, Erwin began leading Simon into the city.

You can imagine, just after nightfall, what it would be like for a knight to ride along a straight and dark avenue into the city with a skeleton floating beside him.

In short, Erwin's scalp tingled, and the residents of White City also had tingling scalps. From time to time, you could hear screams.

Over a few years, due to the continent's situation and changes in public opinion, the image of Liches in people's minds has greatly improved now. But change doesn't mean people can accept them without reservations. Seeing such a skeleton floating in the dark will still frighten people.

Liches aren't commonly seen anyway, you have to give everyone a bit of time to get used to it, right?

So, in the middle of the night, a large group of people cautiously peeked through the windows to observe Simon entering the city.

Perhaps Simon also felt the change in atmosphere.

You thought he would hide himself and eliminate his influence? You're wrong; you underestimated Liches too much. He chose to light up two ghost fires to make himself more visible to everyone.

Erwin started to break out in a cold sweat, but luckily, his new heavy armor completely enclosed his face, perfectly hiding his embarrassment.

"Where do you want to live? I think living in the castle is nice, the environment there is relatively better."

"Do you live in the castle?"

"No, I live at home."

"Then I'll stay at your house, it's more convenient to assist you." Simon casually replied.

Hmm, now that's good news. So Erwin not only has to walk Simon along the street, but also take him home?

Erwin worried, had concerns, opinions, and even felt conflicted, yet he dared not speak up. Yes, he dared not speak up. Saying it out loud might make it seem like he dislikes Liches.

You should know that the Silver Moon Knight Order and the White Bone Holy Light Court were both established based on Liches; respecting Liches is political correctness on Keltos Continent.

No choice, Erwin could only lead Simon home. Along the way, he detoured down some smaller paths, intentionally taking less populated routes, trying to keep a low profile.

With great difficulty, and it could even be said with stealth, he finally arrived at the doorstep of his home.

Compared to a month ago, their home is no longer packed with people every day upon return, after all, trends will pass, and people have to live their lives. No one will endlessly keep an eye on him every day.

However, today there was no one at home, yet behind him, there were plenty of poking heads...

No choice, the Lich really draws attention.

Standing in front of his own doorstep, Erwin took a deep breath, then pulled out the key and unlocked it. He even pushed the door as lightly as possible, tiptoeing. After all, he didn't want to scare his father in the middle of the night.

Since they're living at his place, meeting is inevitable, but meeting during the day is always better than meeting at night, right?

"Shh..." Turning around, Erwin lifted his visor, made a gesture for silence, then quietly said: "This way, over here, go up the stairs gently."
