Amir, clapped a young well-dressed man on the back as they shared a laugh, before he made his way up the short stairs leading away from the pool level to the upper bar area proper, stopped a waitress and gave her his order and pointed to the table that Emily occupied. The dumb girl smiled and bounced towards the bar to fill his drink order as Amir sat down casually, tossing open his suit jacket as he leaned back easily in his chair.
"What do you want, Emily?" he asked, letting some of his jovial attitude slip as he focused on business.
Emily feigned ignorance and smiled sweetly, "Amir, we're business partners. Is it so strange that I may have wanted to see you and spend some time with my partner outside of business?"
Amir didn't look impressed, "If you were going to waste my time, I would have said no. I'm not interested." Amir rose up from his chair, starting to leave.
Emily reached over and grabbed the man's wrist. Her vampire strength squeezed his wrist hard and she heard a soft grunt as Amir looked down at the pale woman who was holding him.
"Amir, we can be friendly, or we can make a scene, your choice," Emily said sweetly with no sign of exertion.
Amir felt throbs of pain shoot up his arm from where the woman was gripping his wrist and he knew that he wasn't going anywhere until she let go. He smiled painfully and sat down.
Emily returned the smile sweetly, but didn't release the man's arm, only lessened her grip, so it wasn't as painful. "I need to find someone."
Amir's lip twisted in a sneer, "I'm not in the man hunting business, ask someone else."
Emily's grip tightened, "I'm not asking Amir. And if you want our deal to continue as it has, start by not telling me you can't do anything."
Amir was trying to hold his lips in a straight line, even though she could see the pain her grip was causing him written across his face. "Ok, ok let go of me, and we'll talk."
Emily almost did, instead she flexed her fingers and tightened her grip before letting them relax, while maintaining her grip, "How about you tell me how you can help, and then I'll let you go. Or, I decide on whether or not you deserve to have feeling in your hand ever again."
The man struggled with the pain and forced himself to think. He had never been in this sort of situation before. He wanted to punch himself in the face for not bringing his usual backup to a meeting. Serves him right for underestimating this girl.

Amir grunted through gritted teeth, "Ok, I may know of someone who has experience in finding people. He's not cheap. But if this person of yours is alive, he can find them." It was getting hard to breathe. The pain had traveled up his arm and was pressing down on his chest, constricting his lungs.
"A name, Amir, and how to contact them," Emily said sweetly with a smile, not loosening her grip even a fraction.
Amir reached into his jacket pocket with his free hand and using his very expensive Mont Blanc fountain pen, scribbled a name and a number on a business card and pushed it over to his assailant.
Emily swept the card into her handbag and let go of him. She folded her legs under the table and took a sip of her drink just as the waitress from earlier came bouncing up the stairs to deliver the dark drink that Amir had ordered. Emily smiled to the waitress who nodded politely to her and walked away.
Amir gripped his wrists and tried to rub feeling back into his hand, as his lungs remembered how to properly expand again. His eyes shot daggers at Emily as he hissed, "I've had people killed for less, bitch!"
Emily took a sip of her drink, smiling. Her eyes gazed deeply into Amir's, "Amir, I want you to calm down. We're business partners. We have too much to lose without the other, just breathe and relax."
Amir returned the woman's gaze and found himself nodding, they were business partners, and they had done good business together. Now that she wasn't squeezing the crap out of his arm, he could just breathe. It felt good to breathe normally.
"That's it, just breathe, and relax. I want you to listen to me very carefully, Amir. We do business all the time. You want to keep on doing business with me. I'm a good business partner, and we make a lot of money together," Emily cooed softly.
Amir agreed. They did do a lot of good business together and he made a lot of money off their arrangement. It just made sense to keep on doing business with Emily than to try and find another partner in the same line of work. How many other blood bank dealers were there in this city?
"Good boy, now Amir I am going to leave. When I do you will finish your drink. Your drink will hit your blood stream as if it's ten times stronger than you're used to. The rush of drunkenness will make you feel so good and happy that you'll want to buy everyone in the bar a round, including paying for my drink. Isn't that right?" Emily droned on quietly.
Amir nodded, he liked listening to Emily talk, she had a nice voice, it didn't even really matter what she was saying, just so long as he could listen.
"Good boy, now have fun tonight and we'll meet again for our usual drop off in a few weeks."
Emily didn't wait for a response. She silently got up from her chair and walked to the exit door. She looked back over her shoulder to see Amir sitting and drinking his drink. She could tell the drink was hitting him pretty hard by his unfocused eyes looking out over the bar. Smiling to herself she got back into the elevator and exited the hotel.
What she didn't pay any attention to, was the guy wearing a very loud blue and pink Hawaiian shirt, sitting in the corner of the bar on the pool level that had been paying very close attention to their entire exchange with rapt interest.
