"Something you can't accomplish, how could I possibly do it?" Mu Chen asked in confusion.

"Kid, to be honest, I'm just a soul with little power. My existence is to guard the Boundaryless Space, or to put it simply, to watch over two beasts: one is the Divine Dragon, the other is the Evil Worm King. But I've found that as time passes, everything changes, and my power can't suppress these two beasts anymore. They're evolving, and if they escape, the consequences would be unimaginable. So I need your power, the power of that legendary person."

"Senior, explain one thing at a time. I'm very confused right now."

"Fine, I'll explain one thing at a time. First, I am the guardian here, my purpose is to guard everything. Second, I've been waiting for your appearance. The reason I mention you is because you're the one who received this inheritance, and as for why you, let's just say that's what those old monsters said before they left. Third, only you can stop everything and guard everything; nothing else."

"So, you're saying I can stop everything, and you need my power."

"That's right."

"Is that what those powerful people said? Did they say it was certain?"

"That's correct, but they didn't say it was certain; they said it was possible."

"So, I'm very curious why those powerful beings wouldn't fix a time to return here and repair the seal to prevent the two beasts from escaping."

"Kid, they were very strong on Earth, but after leaving this land in pursuit of immortality, that was a path of no return. Asking them to come back, it's basically impossible. Moreover, it takes all of them together to seal the beasts. What if many of those powerful ones were killed? Or if they lost contact, how could they return here to seal those two beasts again? "Good that you understand. Also, the Evil Worm King and Divine Dragon both have very long lifespans. Even if they've been sealed several times, there will still be a day when those two beasts escape and bring ruin to the world."

"I understand now. Don't worry, if needed, I'll help with all my might."

"You have the Divine Dragon Body, perhaps you can kill the Divine Dragon. Our first target when the time comes is the Divine Dragon."

"When the time comes? Why not now?"

"I need to prepare in advance. Anyway, when it's time, I'll come find you," the young man in white said, then blinked and disappeared.

The young man in white vanished, space shattered, and in an instant Mu Chen appeared in front of everyone. As soon as he appeared, everyone looked very worried.

"It's okay, I'm fine. Didn't I just receive the inheritance?" Mu Chen smiled, revealing the golden steps.

"Did you receive the inheritance?" Everyone was shocked, not expecting Mu Chen's sudden disappearance to result in receiving the inheritance.

"Yes, I did. Next, we kill the black water monster, and finally eliminate the Evil Worm King and Divine Dragon," Mu Chen stated seriously.

"The black water monster, I now have the strength to trap it," Liu Yuxi said earnestly.

"Boss, I have the power to devour it now, unafraid of its venom," the Devouring Qilin said excitedly.

"Then what are we waiting for, let's kill it," Mu Chen chuckled, descending rapidly back to the black lake.

The others followed suit, each one excitedly descending there, their killing intent rising.

"Black water monster, your grandpa's here. Aren't you coming out to greet him?" Mu Chen said with a smile upon arrival.

"Human, our affairs don't interfere with each other. If you want to leave, then leave," an ancient voice called out.

"Now you think our affairs don't interfere? But it's too late for that, today, you are doomed," Mu Chen shouted, charging forward.

"Human, in the black water lake here, I fear neither heaven nor earth," the ancient voice shouted again.

"Fear neither heaven nor earth? Then I'll bring you despair, bring you death," Mu Chen bellowed back, reaching the depths of the lake.

"Human, you will be slain," at that moment, hundreds of demon beasts charged madly at Mu Chen.

"Devour," the Devouring Qilin had already arrived, swallowing each demon beast in one gulp, obliterating them effortlessly.

"Double Pupil Space Enclosure," Liu Yuxi exclaimed, gathering white power to enclose the demon beasts, preventing any chance of escape.

"Kill," Mu Chen shouted, blinking and charging madly at the horde of demon beasts, slaughtering everything in his path, leaving behind nothing but death, a truly terrifying sight.
